There are bread plates, but no bread ever came. I don't know if they serve bread or not. I asked one of the bus person and he said that he could bring it to us. However, we were eating our main course and didn't need it any more. I just wish they told us that we need to order it or something else. We have been there before, the food is always very good.

The waiter recommended the “hamburger size” crabcake appetizer, realistically it was half that size - totally not worth the money. Wine I drank tasted like it was in a 3 week opened bottle. Steak was delicious, as was the sides we had.

I've been a regular patron of Catch 35 for years and, based on last evening's experience, I'm sorry to report that standards in the restaurant appear to have slipped badly since the COVID-19 pandemic. (1) The dining surfaces no longer have table cloths; (2) Our waiter seemed rushed and, although friendly enough, acted rough and unprofessional; (3) All the food arrived at the same time, and the plates and bowls were slammed onto the table and pushed around in a helter-skelter fashion; (4) Some guy began hurriedly and noisily clearing the table while one of us was still eating; (5) When the desserts arrived, the table was a mess--covered with crumbs, bits of lettuce, etc.--but the waiter made no effort to clean the surface. Without a word, he pitched the dessert containers onto the table on top of all the litter. I was really surprised by this display and hope Catch 35 can regain its former elegance. The food, itself, was tasty enough but the servings smaller than before. Sad.

The last time I ate at Catch 35 was pre-covid. My boss and I went there for lunch yesterday and I must say, the food was Fantastic!! We both had the fresh pan seared Halibut...it was Outstanding. Our server was Phenomenal!! Will definitely be back soon.

Our server was terrible, he became disinterested the moment we told him we don't drink alcohol...he horried our interaction, forgot about my cappuccino until I finished my meal and reminded him of the order. Our check ended up being $100 and I tipped him....even though he was horrible....btw this is the first time I ever wrote a negative comment about service, don't do it because I understand the industry challenges....because I managed a hotel in the city...use it to coach and not to discipline

My family & I went here to celebrate my daughters birthday. The food was pretty good but my daughter ended up with a stomach ache, she ordered lobster tail and steak. Not sure what it could’ve been but I figure I’ll say something. Other than that, they ensured to make her day special with a nice dessert. Very friendly and attentive hostess/server.

Second visit within the last month. In to see a show @Chicago Theater had time to grab a some appetizers. Enjoyed the Chicken sliders which had a "little" heat to them, the Filet sliders tender and delicious and the clam chowder was exceptional. Michael was our server and had us out in plenty of time to catch the start of the show. Great location and they even validate parking @ the garage located around the corner @ 181 Dearborn.

Good seafood restaurant. Much larger on the inside than it looked from outside. Nice decor. Great selection of seafood and some steaks and other dishes. Very good, reasonably priced wine list. Cedar plank salmon was excellent.

Downtown with my wife to see a musical and had dinner here beforehand. Amazing service from Hugo. Made our first dining experience here a wonderful experience. My wife enjoyed her Halibut and i the Salmon. Both prepared to perfection. The crab cake was full of crab and nice and tender. I tad on the small side as far as portions go, but otherwise wonderful. We will definitely return when they have fresh Alaskan Copper River salmon later on in the summer.
