   The food, service, and ambiance were wonderful. I had the heirloom tomato salad and the veggie sandwich, and my friend had the salmon and we shared the chocolate lava cake. Everything was attractive and delicious. Louisa was our server and was friendly and professional. The prices were fine for resort prices: high, but not unusually so.

   Service surroundings view wonderful. Shocked when our burritos came. Small plate, small burrito. It was just ok. I don’t even recall biting a piece of steak. Nothing on the side like normal breakfast plates. I did not even realize it until the plate came. Anything else had to be ordered. Mimosas 14 bucks. Coffee delicious. We ordered fruit bowl ( actually a cup) was ok strawberry hard. Other fruit good. I guess this is what it has come to.

   Came in for a birthday dinner. Our server was Rui. He was really attentive. He kept checking on us to see if we were good and if we needed anything. He got us what we needed every time he asked. Dinner was great with live music. It was a little hard to find stuff. The labels were missing on a lot of items and none on the dessert station so we didn’t know what’s what. The ramekins needed a sauce plate or something because the au jus and hot butter in metal containers are still really hot. Other then that it was a great time.

    This restaurant, located within a resort but allowing the public to patronize, was completely understaffed. We had a reservation but had to take two, 15 minute walks around until we were accepted. Plenty of open tables, apparently no one in the kitchen. After sitting in full sun at a 2-top, within full view of a sea of empty 4-top tables under shade, we got ice tea after 20 minutes. Another 40 and appetizer of hummus - not a really complicated dish, you just plate it- was brought out. I actually was getting a stomach ache and we requested our salads to go. So, 90 minutes, most of it sitting and waiting. The food was....fine. I think the salad dressing was bottled. The worst was barely making it home and then becoming ill. Not sure what it was. The STAFF WAS VERY NICE it was not their fault. Again, if you try and be pleasant and accommodating and treat everyone in a friendly manner, well it makes it all easier. It wasn't a good experience, we won't go back, but it was not the fault of the server. She said that it always get crowded around this weekend; well then why wouldn't you anticipate and hire??

    Reservation availability was abundant so we booked dinner!! Upon arrival we were seated outside which was very comfortable with the amount of outdoor heaters surrounding tables. The restaurant was bustling & there were plenty of open tables. Waiter arrived within 12 min. and we ordered immediately-a simple meal: deviled eggs, Caesar Salad & BBQ Chicken pizza. He proceeded to inform us the kitchen was backed up and there would be a delay. We banked on a simple salad/pizza with little prep required. Luckily, the appetizer arrived within 15 min. of placing our order but after that…the clock started to stretch on and on. Most of the tables around us were patiently waiting with no luck. We engaged in conversation with the couple next to us and they had waited 1 hr for a pizza, steak & salad. When they received their food, the pizza was cold and the steak was over cooked. They expressed concern when the waitress told them it could take a long time to prepare a new steak - “another hour on a mistake the kitchen made” - he politely asked? Wait staff was MIA to keep people posted on building wait times (especially for a simple salad & pizza). Our other neighbors asked to see the manager and she swooped in to try to mitigate their food delivery (after an hour) for soup, salads, etc. She did not engage with other tables in the vicinity to inquire about how they were doing and if she could provide any help. Our food arrived 55 min. after ordering-total wait from the time we were seated to receiving a simple salad & pizza was 75 min. Great news…the waiter was apologetic & food was good…pizza was hot and very tasty. Overall, we were not in a big hurry and were sad to have a repeat of our last experience in 2019. The waiter gave us an amazing free lava cake and we appreciated his kindness. We mentioned the food delay to the manager upon departure, she acted surprised. Why was she so out of touch with >1 hr delay for all guests w/ reservation abundance? Mar’sel is a better choice!

    Valentine’s Dinner-bumpy start at 1st-loud waitress says the service has changed & a new waiter has been assigned to us-annoying-just welcome & serve please. We were “assigned” a gent & he was absolutely professional. Talked in a normal volume & very pleasant. Loved the crab cake-dinner: salmon crunchy & corn a nice compliment; husband enjoyed the tender ribs & comforting potatoes. Libations were delightful. Although windy & cold out-temp within the “tent” was perfect. Loved the “lighting” for ambiance. No dessert-was too full. A special Valentines dinner at Catalina kitchen-the single rose was a very sweet surprise. 🌹THANK YOU

    I come here quite often, and the service is always absolutely impeccable. Customer service is at an all-time high here at the ambience is perfect for whatever mood you’re trying to set whether it is business pleasure, or a chess drinks with friends.

    Food quality was something I would expect to find at a cheap pool grille. Prices are crazy for such low quality food. Food had to be sent back multiple times. We are not very picky and yet we all left so disappointed and it was supposed to be a special birthday dinner.

    Not allergy friendly, very disappointing. Bland, no real flavor to the barbecue chicken pizza. Also ordered a burger. No gluten free bun, so the burger was on bread. No, condiments, only one small slice of tomatoe and a piece of lettuce. It was supposed to come with a salad. It came with a pile of spring mix and oil and vinegar, no tomatoes or carrots. The only items worth the having were the cocktails which were very pricey, but delicious.

    I had high hopes for this place but I will never dine here again. The service was really slow and the food took forever to come out. There was a big bone in my salmon and the fettuccine was so salty. Would not recommend or even come back again.

    Nice dinner with good service. We tried the Hanukkah menu and everything was very good. The food was slow to come out but was quite good and excellent temperature when it did arrive. Our server was great and did a great job at pacing his check ins. Enjoyed the surrounding and environment.

    Really poor value and the Seafood Buffet that has almost no seafood. $459 for 4 people 4 drinks and no add in’s and food was marginal at best.

    Portions are smaller, offerings are more limited than previous. Service is very good and the setting is lovely. Quite crowded so a moderate noise level outside.

    Great service! Average food. Celebrating a birthday. Beautiful summer evening outside. The resort is in a stunning location. Golf carts with very friendly drivers offering rides to where ever you wanted to go in the resort

    Beautiful area. Gorgeous buffet. Too much food to try everything but most of what we tried was very good. The prime Rib, the salad bar, the fruit, the gelato and the nutella stuffed donut were what got the highest praise from our group of 3.

    I booked for a birthday lunch and then was told we could only have the buffet. The buffet is $70pp and whilst it has a good range, there was limited food which will fill you up. Also staff wasn’t around to slice meat or cook eggs. The waiter charged us $35 pp instead because of the limited service. Still, not worth the drive
