Perfect food & Awesome service! Our Anniversary evening was wonderful and the courtesy from the wait staff and the Maitre’d was exceptional . Thanks to all at Castelli’s on your last night open in this 2018 season. Highly recommend this restaurant!
We love Castello's. Great food. Excellent service.
We enjoyed Castelli’s
The waiter was attentive and the food turnaround was fast .... weird fast ( pasta and eggplant parm )
Overall food quality was great
Don’t go if you expect it quiet .... it gets busy and it gets super loud
I would go back again sometime soon
My friend and I took advantage of the June - July 1 pre-fixe $39 meal menu - fabulous choices and the food is delicious. We both had eggplant parmesan as entree - best eggplant parmesan we have ever had! My friend enjoyed a large piece of perfectly cooked Scottish salmon. I had the apple-glazed pork chops. Both were delicious and the serving sizes were huge! We each had sautéed mixed vegetables - mostly squashes. Nicely done. We chose spumoni pie and chocolate gelato for desserts. I enjoyed Oregon pinot noir which was delicious. Overall an enjoyable evening dining out at a favorite restaurant!
With it being our second time eating at Castelli’s they met our expectations that were set from the first time. Great service, food, and drinks.
Love it and will definitely be back!
Always a great night at Castelli’s. Michael meets you at the door, Patrick is singing and playing at the piano and John at the bar gives a great pour. Who could ask for anything more!
Always great food and service
We sat in the front entrance which doesn't have the same ambience as inside the restaurant, the service was fine the food was not as good as we had experienced in the past but still ok. We will of course go again as in the past it has been wonderful
We never come to the desert without making at least one dinner reservation here!! Not to be missed!!
We all enjoyed our dinners and were surprised when we discovered that they had extended the restaurant week menu through the month of June!
Visiting Palm Desert and so happy we were able to have dinner here before they close for the summer. Food was excellent and they have a good wine list.
Garlic bread is fantastic. Special menu for the month of June is great deal
Antonio, our waiter, is the best!!!! And the food is really outstanding!
We recently dined at Castelli's for Father's Day and birthday celebration. As usual, the restaurant was busy and noisy. It's to be expected. Castelli's is a popular place and the food is usually very good. The Pasta Bolognese (my favorite dish off the menu) was delicious as usual, but the portion was small this time. A member of my party ordered Veal and it was overdone, and the breading was burnt. I asked him to send it back, but he didn't want to make an issue of it. The most disappointing aspect of this experience was the corkage fee. It was $20, which is not unreasonable. But we were a party of four and ordered a second bottle from their wine list. It wasn't cheap. Most restaurants will waive corkage if you order a bottle of their wine as well. Our waiter refused to do this. He said it wasn't the restaurants policy to do this. Again, disappointing.
Our server, David, was professional in every way. He was tuned in to our every need. The meal was (as usual) excellent. We would highly recommend this restaurant.
Server Javier was amazing, made perfect suggestions and made our experience better. Food was amazing, and atmosphere complemented it well. Already going back for another date, will be a place I will go to as often as I can. A perfect little gem in the desert.
My friend seems to like the place. But for me The waiters are to full of them self and I don't feel comfortable sitting there. It's like you have to be extra nice to even try and make them smile. None of the wait staff was nice . It was like they are ready to GO. I'm done going there. It sort of reminds me of the wait staff at Melvyn's in Palm Springs. Won't go there either.
The ambiance was amazing if you specifically reserve a table on the inner part of the restaurant. It’s dim lighting over there with live music and a 1920’s looking bar. The service was probably the best service I’ve ever had in my life... or at least tied for first. The food was pretty good; would recommend the crab cakes and some seafood pasta.
Our meal was fantastic. So was the service! This is the second time that I've been there and I will definitely come again.
Love, love Castelli’s! Service is always perfect!!!
THE OWNER (MAITR"DE" BABY) WAS ALOOF AND KINDA SNOTTY --- HOWEVER, THE WAITERS

WE WILL GO BACK AND ASK FOR TABLE # 26 TWENTY-SIX THE TABLE FOR FOR PEOPLE WHO THINK YOUNG ! TEE HEE XXX 000
The waiters and other bus-boys at the restaurant were awesome. They were attentive and that me feel really good being there.
Unfortunately, I chose to eat off of the prix fix menu. The choices were limited and the food was okay. (I enjoyed my leftovers the next day for dinner.) I think had I not filled myself up on garlic cheese bread it may have been a different meal experience.
They were flexible when I arrived late with a reserved table ready for me.,
Wonderful evening! Attentive, professional waiters, delicious food served in low-key old Palm Springs style. Cocktails were perfect. Pace of entire meal was great. Osso Buco was divine. My new favorite Italian restaurant in the Palm Springs Area. Cheers!
This is a must when we come to the desert. And, their menu for restaurant week had a nice variety. My niece used to be the Hostess here so we are always welcomed by the owner when we eat here.
Ron’s the man!!!
Delish as always!!!!
Was nice. Went for our anniversary, they brought us out a dessert “on the house,” however, it was charged on our bill, but we paid it anyways (normally I would argue it, but again it was our anniversary and we just wanted a nice night).
we went for Restaurant Week & enjoyed the $39 p/p special veal dinner w/salad first course & lovely desserts afterwards. The tiarmisu was excellent and my husband enjoyed the spumoni pie also. Our service was friendly & efficient.
Oh I am a fan. I love Castelli's. The food the service all wonderful. We had dinner on Friday night and I had the Al Capone salad which was awesome and the Godfather entrée which is 3 different proteins and a side of veggies. My husband and daughter had different versions of seafood pasta and they loved their entrees too. The wine list was great and the cappuccino was hot and had great foam and flavor. Let me say the service was top notch too. From constantly filling our water to removing plates when we were done and checking in on us. We will be looking forward to returning with our family and friends too.
Castelli’s is een goede Italiaan met een authentieke sfeer. Je waant je in de tijd vn Frank Sinatra. Eten is goed en bediening zeer professioneel.
Hard to tell servers from 'helpers'. Each employee was there to meet our every need, and each wore dressy slacks, vests and ties. All were friendly. Food was outstanding. We had osso bucco and rack of lamb, each was to die for. Our entrees were in $40-$50 range, but it was reasonable for the quality and quantity we got. The Castelli's After Dark dessert was enough for us to share, but I intend to not share mine next time. It's that good.
We had red wine by the glass, and both cabernet and pinot were excellent.
We'll be back, and will recommend Castelli's to anyone who wants an excellent dinner.
Best Fettuccine Alfredo ever! Love the old school ombience. Local favorite...truly a gem in the desert.
Whenever we visit Palm Springs, we make it a point to have dinner at Castelli's. It's a classic Italian restaurant, impeccable service, great vibe and unbeatably delicious food. Ask for zabaglione for dessert -- not on the menu, but they'll make it for you. The crab legs with warm butter is amazing. Everything is absolutely delicious!
Had heard that the food was not particularly good. The reviews were accurate. Prices are high for the quality of the food offered. Large portions but is more of mediocrity a good thing? However, our server, Gregory, was outstanding as was all of the wait staff.
Visited Castelli's for restaurant week. We were not disappointed. Food was delicious, waitress was entertaining and service by all was very good.
OUTSTANDING FOOD AND OUTSTANDING SERVICE . . . AS USUAL!
We were fortunate to get our favorite waiter David. He is very knowledgeable regarding the menu and always makes wonderful suggestions.
The escargot is a must for us. They are large and tender in a great sauce. We enjoy dipping bread in the remaining sauce.
The cannelloni was amazing.
Dinner would not be complete without the delicious spumoni pie.
Tony was an excellent waiter.
The pork chops were dry and tough.
We had the best service and the food was fantastic! Really enjoyed trying the Restaurant Week menu since we had never been there before. So glad that we did! We will definitely come back to Castelli's again soon.
