I love this restaurant. Their fettuccini is the best in the US. Their bolognese sauce is extraordinary. Their Caesar salad is crispy and perfectly balanced, and their plentiful garlic bread is crispy on the outside and soft inside. They also have a great, friendly bar.

There is no better Italian food in the state. It’s truly phenomenal every single time. Every dish done to perfection. That coupled with a friendly and conscientious staff makes this a forever go-to when visiting the desert. The food is so flavorful, hot and delivered with care. We will be back next visit!

We'd heard about Castelli's for a couple of years but only managed to go for the first time this week Loved it so much that we went back 4 days later. The osso bucco is especially delicious. Great atmosphere and service too.

This is a truly amazing, old school Italian restaurant :) Outstanding service (this place is a well-oiled machine!) the servers/busers work together in harmony! The food is sooooo fresh and delicious and the portions are huge. Drinks are well-poured and the ambience is authentic Italian. Whether you order the Gnocchi, linguine, filet mignon, or fettuccine Alfredo you will be very pleased!!!

After meeting Michael Castelli in an Uber and already saying it was my favorite Italian food in the valley I decided to make a reservation for Memorial Day. The place was packed celebrating 35 years of business. Michael greeted my family and me and treated us very special. The food was great as was expected and the service was outstanding.

The low stars are for the waiter that served us, not the food. Food was delicious and the extended staff were wonderful. Our waiter was attentive but, he led us to believe we had to order soups/salads with our meal- as if it was included. He did not mention an extra cost and stated like “soup, salad?” Before he asked our order, so we assumed they were included. Then to find out that added an additional $40 to our bill was very surprising and disappointing. We felt misled and lied to and really left a bad impression about the restaurant. Which was a shame because the food was very good.

This was our first time at Castelli's. Wish we'd found it before moving away. The food was outstanding (we had the salmon and the osso bucco) and the tiramisu and "Castelli's After Dark" were scrumptious. One of the best Italian restaurants we've enjoyed throughout the U.S. and Europe. Molto bene!

We were so excited to be back at Castellis however we didn’t get to eat her because our server was so incredibly rude! He acted like we were a total inconvenience and because one out of four in our party asked for water with extra ice instead of an alcoholic drink, he rolled his eyes at her (she’s pregnant!). We then asked to order salads before we placed our entree orders because we wanted to have a slow paced enjoyable kid-free meal, and the server said we could NOT do that and he walked away! When he came back I repeated that we wanted to order salsa first thinking he didn’t hear us, and he said NO, He’ll take our salad orders only when we are ready to order our main entrees. We asked if he was joking and with a straight face he said “no!” He proceeded to tell us how busy he was with other large parties bla bla bla. I don’t care if he was having an off night or if this was because he was frustrated with having to push a few extra buttons so we could order in stages, his poor attitude was unacceptable! We spoke to the owner who confronted the server (who denied everything) and then left to take our money elsewhere! We enjoyed Sullivan’s steakhouse very much !

Oh my gosh!!!! I have found my new favorite restaurant in Palm Desert!! I booked this from advice online for my boyfriends birthday dinner. From the second we walked in, we were treated like VIP’s. You can clearly see the owners take pride in the restaurant and how they want to make guests feel. Now to the food. It’s incredible!!! There were so many delicious sounding choices and we were struggling to pick. The waiter graciously told us we could do “half orders” which to our delight, allowed us to try 4 different entrees. We had shrimp scampi, sausage risotto, veal w/capers & lemon and clams with linguine. ALL was excellent. Even the Caesar salad was fantastic. And the bread? Oh boy!!! I could eat that all day. To top things off, they came out and sang happy birthday to my boyfriend and comped a dessert. I can’t wait to return!!!

Bartender makes great drinks. Had the Osso Buco and wife had the Cannelloni. Both scrumptious dishes. We were celebrating our anniversary and was comped a Spumoni dessert and a delicious specialty Cappuccino. Will definitely go back.

My buddy and I were greeted by the host, an ample man, with a smile and request that my buddy remove his hat. That told me right off the bat that we were in a "classy" joint. They had a nice wine list. We chose a cab. It was outstanding. The food was excellent. Ambience was definitely that of what you would expect from a good Italian restaurant. I found myself expecting to see a cast member from the Sopranos walk by. I will definitely return here if in town.
