Our first visit was outstanding and I wrote a glowing review. However, the next time in February, the food was good, but the service was very, very slow. We were there 2 hours.
This past Saturday, May 7th, the service was even slower than the last time, but this time my medium rare, 12 oz Filet Mignon was medium at best. If this had been any other steak it would have been inedible. We waited for our first drinks, then the salad. In the meantime 3 other tables were after us and served, which was when, after 2 hours we asked about our food. We were told that because we had a salad, we were put at the bottom of the cook list and the folks that did not order anything else had their orders cooked first.
After we mentioned the issue to our server, she did bring us a complimentary cocktail, however by that time we wanted to eat not get toasted.
We will go back to the restaurant one more time, but not on a weekend. If the service and food are not up to their usual standards, then we will go elsewhere.
