Is great place goff red brunch, lunch if casual dinner. Only would like them to add more options for people don’t eat red meats like me. Other than that I like it.

She cared for the our girls like they were her own; always there asking if they needed anything. She was just as attentive with the adults. Christmas Day brunch
Thank you for a wonderful holday meal. Everything was delicious and the wait staff was very attentive. They had an unruly, rude large party of people who where complaining and causing a scene and they handled it very well.

Just a note to thank the Food and Beverage staff at the Fort Worth Omni for the magnificent Christmas Brunch.
When the call came in on Christmas Eve that a “maintenance issue” had gone awry and the Brunch venue had to be switched from the hotel to the Convention Center, our long experience with the Omni for the special occasion brunches made it a no brainer to continue with our plans. You have come a long way from the time the events were in the Cast Iron space to the upstairs Atrium area in the hotel and this year at the Convention Center. We have enjoyed each and every one of our experiences over a period of many years.
Many, many, kudos to the entire staff for an outstanding event. My wife asked just about every service person she saw – “Did you get any sleep last night?” Without exception every person said –“Not much but I am ready to do my job today” – and with a big smile.
We especially appreciated the “International” theme of the food – it was absolutely spectacular over the top delicious.
We are really looking forward to next year to see how you can top this one.

we found out the night before that the lunch had been moved to the convention center due to a maintenance issue. It still looked very Christmasy and one could tell they had gone to great lengths to make it nice. The food from different countries added a new concept and the dessert buffet was just so pretty and tasty. Everyone was very jolly.

We went for Christmas Brunch. I would have given it 5 stars except that they moved the brunch to the convention center. Received a call the day before stating that construction in the hotel caused them to move the brunch. Overall the food and service was exceptional. Wondered though if had the brunch been at the hotel if other alcoholic drinks would have been available. Only mimosas were served and half our group doesn’t drink them and would have preferred a Bloody Mary or an option for other alcoholic drinks. There were plenty of non alcoholic options.

It was an okay experience. The food nor the service was great.
Our reservations were at 1:30 PM and we waited until almost 2:30 PM to be seated. The wait staff service was not very efficient. I believe we were supposed to get a 10% discount since we booked through OpenTable. It wasn’t applied to our ticket.
I paid a fixed price for their holiday buffet. It didn't begin to be worth what I paid for it. The food was mostly served in heated containers but was only lukewarm; the clam chowder was just this side of cool. This was for Thanksgiving, but I saw no cranberry sauce or cornbread, and the gravy was only near the carving station, and I didn't notice it, so I ate a Thanksgiving meal with no gravy for my mashed potatoes and dressing.
There was a nice variety of food, and it was very filling. Bar service was quite limited, and there was no wine list. My Bloody Mary was barely spicy at all.
My waiter lost my check, and someone in management came by to let me know the buffet would be open only another 10 minutes and patted me on the shoulder as he did so. I appreciate when people I don't know keep their hands to themselves.
This whole thing was overpriced for the value received and a definite disappointment. Next year, I'll look for something else.

Food was outstanding!! Service was good, the team worked hard. Had a 45 minute wait before seating..... too crowded at the checkin desk.....created bottle neck. Overall my family feedback was very good.... good touch offering free cocktails!!! Would do it again next year.....

Thanksgiving at the Omni was mixed this year. The check-in desk is frequently understaffed, and this year it was a crowded line, 15 people deep. A 1:30 reservation meant seating by 2:30. The desk staff seemed overwhelmed and they were calling parties barely audibly, adding to the confusion and crowdedness. When seated, the service over then entire meal was truly minimal, and we had to beckon to any available server to even get basic drink refills. Overall the food was very good, but the organizational issues detracted seriously from the experience.

Skip the lines, late seating, and just plain bad experience for the Thanksgiving meal at the Omni. It is $70 pp so it’s not cheap. You wait in line to get checked in. Then you wait 30 to 40 min for your table when you made a reservation. Then you get seated in a hallway with no view. Overall, a horrible experience and I’ll never book a thanksgiving meal like this at the Omni. Better off going to a fine dining restaurant where you’re treated with respect.

The absolute worst service I have ever had in any restaurant in my life. The waiter was not even capable of getting five glasses of iced tea for the entire meal. Not each, five total glasses of iced tea for five people. He then took my credit card and disappeared for 25 minutes, I had to physically chase down a manager to get them to find the waiter. The manager then brought my credit card back with no apology and stated we just need your signature…… There was A 21% automatic gratuity figured into the check. So the waiter got a $70 tip for not even successfully bringing five glasses of iced tea… Keeping in mind that this was a buffet. I will never ever ever return for the Thanksgiving feast at the Omni Hotel.

Buffets can be “ordinary” but not this one. Plenty of traditional foods and lots of upscale options to keep everyone happy on Thanksgiving day. We would come back to the Omni again for another Thanksgiving. On an unrelated note: valet parking at the hotel entrance was chaotic for drop off & pick up. Management needs to work on crowd arrival & departure if they are going to entice people to come for a huge Thanksgiving day buffet.

My 5 yr. old nephew has gluten, dairy, and peanut allergy. I asked to talk to the chef to find out what dishes would be safe for him to eat. The chef pointed out to me the dishes and food items my nephew can eat. She even made him a special dessert. Compliments to the chef!

Food set up was great. Delicious. Festive.
Only issue was with valet parking. The logistics were ill planned. Validation-of parking should have taken place at arrival. Lots of customers had to go back to get ticket validated.
Plus.... I was told on Open table I was receiving a 10% discount for booking the reservation through Open Table? How was this supposed to be applied?

My family of of six enjoyed the Thanksgiving Day Brunch. The food and drinks were great and service was very professional. Thank you Cast Iron for the wonderful day.
We attended a conference at the Ft Worth convention center. There were very few people in the restaurant other than a large party and us. My group of 7 waited 40 minutes just to get our drinks which was wine. No speciality drinks. They seemed to have many people working but the large party had all of the staff focused on the large party while ignoring the other few tables in the restaurant. The pork chop was delicious but others had the fish. They said the fish was rubbery and not very good. I think they need to work on being efficient with groups that come to the hotel since they are across from the convention center.
Food was not worth the price! So expensive for bad tasting food. The drinks were overpriced and had no alcohol in them.
The wait for drinks was way too long because they came from the Whiskey & Rye bar. Please add more menu options to the dinner menu. Lunch menu has more of a selection.
Good business meeting location.
I drove in from out of town and was on a set schedule, so I needed to have a set time at a lunch destination where I knew we would be able to keep on track. Loved that we were able to reserve through OpenTable! However, was a little disappointed that the restaurant wouldn't let us order from the menu - it was a buffet only lunch time and I didn't recall reading that anywhere on their site or during the reservation.
Food was very good, I had the Chicken fried steak and my husband had the fish and chips. The waitress was very friendly and attentive.
Great service by Antonio and the rest of the staff. Not crowded or noisy which made celebrating out 48th wedding anniversary a very pleasant event
Food is great but service is not so great. We ordered a drink that we never received and the waitress didn't come back until the food was almost out so we couldn't even remind her about it. The food itself took about 45 minutes to come out so I do not recommend them if you have other commitments (we had tickets to a show after dinner). The food itself was delicious, you just have to go if you have the time.

Service and atmosphere were great. It was our anniversary and we were treated like royalty. Food was very good. We are definitely planning on returning.
Good place for Sunday brunch. The eggs on the Omelet Station were were scrumptious. I had the Stockyards Scramble and loved it. My companion had pancakes and did not like them, especially since it took 30 minutes to get his order. His croissant was dry and pasty. That being said, the bacon and sausage were very tasty, especially the in-house blueberry sausage. The fruit selections were delectable, and out server was very attentive. It's not her fault that it took the kitchen half an hour to sling out 2 pancakes.
My wife and I went to Cast Iron for our 6th wedding anniversary. I asked to be seated by the fireplace and the restaurant honored my request. They also surprised us with a free dessert tray including chocolate cake, cheesecake and an apple pie. Our server was friendly and efficient. I was pleasantly surprised by our experience; it was better than expected. The menu choices are limited, there's only about 7 entrees. My wife order the Red Snapper and I had the Breaded Angus Steak. We had appetizers of salad and Elk chili. The portions were perfect. Our total bill was about $82.00 before tip. We truly enjoyed our evening and would definitely eat here again.
Last night at the hotel so I wanted a quiet meal, but not in my room. Service was awesome- young very pleasant staff. I would recommend eating here.
We hosted brunch for our family and friends prior to their check out. The room was beautiful and the service impeccable. A delicious send off and perfect end to a delightful weekend.
This was our Honeymoon. The food was good, but very overpriced for what we got. $18 for a three egg omelet and $15 for pecan and banana pancakes.
Food was cold off of the buffet (eggs, prime rib, potatoes, etc.) and overpriced. My son had to chew ice because he couldn’t get anyone to fill his water glass. My husband asked for tea several times. Desserts were lacking. Mother’s do not want cupcakes for desserts. We get cupcakes at the birthday parties and kid events we attend throughout the year. With that being said, the cupcakes weren’t the best. The other desserts weren’t good either. The food reminded me of banquet food. Also, when you charge an automatic 21% gratuity, waitstaff is not held accountable, therefore, they don’t have to provide good service, which is probably why our glasses didn’t get filled very often. We will not be coming back!
