My husband and I enjoyed Mother’s Day brunch. The servers and staff were attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the food selection and the drinks were great. This was our first time. We wanted to bring our mothers, but they’re still hesitant to get out the house. The kids didn’t want them to feel alone so they stayed at home and occupied the grandparents. It was a great start to what turned out to be a beautiful day.

The Mother’s Day Brunch was INCREDIBLE. No… OUTSTANDING. No… UNREAL!! Fabulous! Delicious! I have never seen such an amazing buffet filled with all sorts of foods from the best ceviche I’ve ever had (and I’ve had fresh ceviche in Spain) to mussels, an omelette station, a butcher block of meat that makes you salivate just from looking. There was a TON of food. It was all presented beautifully. I had multiple plates. My reservation was at 11am, I didn’t eat again until after 8 - I was so stuffed. And when I ate again, I was sad because my dinner was nothing like that buffet. I know it wasn’t their typical restaurant experience but I will be back for a regular meal and I will DEFINITELY be back next Mother’s Day!! Oh yeah… UNLIMITED MIMOSAS!!!

Great Mother's Day brunch. The food was delicious, service was excellent, and we enjoyed the music. I wish it was a bit less expensive but that's how things go on Mother's Day it seems.

The Easter brunch food was outstanding. I wish they would of had a pasta bar. The desserts were amazing. The free mimosas had different fruit to add to your drink like strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries . They had the Easter bunny walking around. The shrimp was huge. Very Expensive.

After trying most "upscale" restaurants over the years we decided to give Cast Iron a try. We were not disappointed. Cast Iron is typically not open for dinner but since they were having a special Valentines day dinner we could not resist. The dinner, ambience and service were all great. The three course meal was better than expected. The stand out dish for me was the Asparagus Cappuccino Soup and the Pistachio Encrusted Lamb. If the their usual fare is this good we will be returning for breakfast and lunch.

We arrived early for our Valentine's Day dinner and were greeted nicely and sat immediately. There was one other couple seated, but the rest of the dining room looked empty. She sat us right next to the only other couple there, which I thought was odd. Our waiter was very nice, but not super attentive. I am lenient due to staffing shortages, so I didn't deduct for that. We started with oysters. The vinaigrette was very sour. There was more roe on the oyster than oyster, not a pleasant experience. Also, they didn't bring small oyster forks so we had to butcher the oyster with standard dinner forks (the oyster hadn't been properly shucked and loosened from the shell). We both had the steak as an entree. My partner asked if the sauce came on the steak and he was told no, that it was on the side. My partner responded, "Good because I just like salt & pepper on my steak and no sauce." When his steak arrived it had sauce on it. When my steak arrived, the food runner touched the blade of my steak knife as she was putting it on the table - meaning she HELD the blade of the knife in her hand. Gross. When she put my partner's plate in front of him she put the steak knife ON the side of his plate. So they need training on how to serve, apparently. The menu said the steak was a filet, it was very tender but it was pretty gross and had no flavor. The sauce also had no flavor. The best thing about the entree was the parsnip puree. I had cheesecake for dessert. It tasted old and frozen with zero flavor. We had 2 martinis at $16 each and a tequila flight at $14. Our bill was $180 before the tip. Yes, $180 for a meal at the Omni which is comparable to a meal at Chili's (no offense to Chili's). It was a hotel dining experience, but I would expect more from an Omni.

We expected to see covid precautions in place and feel safe, not the case. Less than 1/2 of staff were masked. No crowd control. Buffett had utensils that were handled by everyone and placed back on the food. Children and adults were serving self bread with their hands and then returning it after handling. Our waiter, at the table, was masked and very proper.

Enjoyed a Thanksgiving lunch at Cast Iron. And since cooking at home was not a viable option, of course we booked again for Christmas lunch. The food was good. So was the service. But the menu was devoid of potatoes - any potatoes! It was as if someone was trying to force me to eat extra healthy and potatoes were evil! Never had a Christmas dinner without potatoes. I didn't like that part. I'd recommend Cast Iron but will surely warn them to have their potatoes at home.

Even though we had a reservation, we still had to wait 45 minutes to be seated. As we walked through, I saw numerous empty tables and it was buffet style so I never figured out what the problem was. For 70$ a person, I expected something MUCH better than what we got. And, of course, they added an automatic 20% tip and we NEVER had a wait staff come ask if we'd like tea or anything. The food was awful, cold or room temp, salmon was dry and over cooked, all veggies were room temp, the dishes were pretty tasteless for the most part and dessert was a joke. I've had better desserts at Luby's . What they called "dressing" was mushy bread, no flavor, and no gravy. The salad bar was nothing special and the seafood was boiled shrimp and crab claw ceviche which had the texture of rubber. Needless to say, it was a wasted 70$ person (almost 600$ for my family). We went for hamburgers afterwards. Don't be fooled in to thinking these banquet style events at the Omni are wonderful because of some menu they've added some fancy words to describe certain dishes that taste like frozen Ben E Keith food they've tried to warm up. The least they could've done was keep it hot until you put on your plate. Not for us next year.

We attended a Mother’s Day Brunch. The food selection was nice but all of the hot food items were barely look warm! Even the coffee had to be sent back and warmed up. Despite, The Iron Skillet putting plastic gloves out for the patrons to use at the various station a lot of people did not have them on and multiple hands touched the serving ware. They should have had people serving the entire thing, this would have helped some. I doubt we will go again, certainly not worth $65 each for 5 people and gratuity is extra.

tried to make a reservation for a quick brunch at the cast iron before flying out on Sunday (mothers day). I was told I could do an 11am reservation - I specifically asked if we could eat earlier and was told no-11am is when they open. On sunday morning, we noticed the restaurant was indeed open earlier and there were people having breakfast. When we went to check in for our 11am reservation, we were told to go upstairs where there were tables set up around the ballroom. We were told we needed to prepay and the cost for our family of 5 would be over $400! No mention of this when making the reservation. There was a buffet full of TERRIBLE food and the wait staff was hovering over us trying to take our plates away while we were still eating. Wait staff was unable to deal with basic requests like butter and milk for coffee. Worst experience ever DO NOT RECOMMEND!
