They served us burned food. Not the standard of quality they we expected and paid for.
The menu was also very limited.
Always an amazing time! Extra thanks to Walter for the amazing variety of margaritas!!
Wonderful staff and view!
Went here to celebrate my friends birthday. Such a cute spot. Good food and service was great, would happily come again!
Great! During this pandemic I’ve been afraid of going out. This place was perfect. Staff was great! Waitress was wonderful! Good was great! Felt comfortable as there weren’t many people as well.
Food was amazing
Always the best service and food is absolutely delicious👌 Never been disappointed in this place💖
A little bit below our expectations compared to prior visits however the setting is wonderful and do recommend the restaurant.
Horrible. Don’t go during the pandemic. They will try to seat you in some back patio with a janky table With no view but charge you the same price
A wonderful location for an escape from the virus restrictions- locale great for view and enjoyment for carefree lunch. Great service and delicious food from shrimp appetizer to salmon entree to desert and cappuccino coffee- good cocktails and wine.
Excellent service / highly recommended for lunch.
The setting is lovely, with all the beautiful boats to view.
Our server was really helpful and informative.
Good menu for appetizers.
We wanted to go out for our anniversary during COVID, but wanted to feel safe. Cast and Plow had great protocols in place and they were abiding by them. The food was excellent with complex flavors and textures. I would skip the Moscow Mule next time...i have had much better. It is expensive: appetizer, two entrees, one drink was $140 before tip. View of the marina was nice as we watched boats and paddle boarders. Hint: bring a jacket, it can be quite windy and cool, even on a sunny day.
We have always loved the service and the quality of food at Cast & Plow and have been patrons since they opened. The menu is farm to table, so the ingredients are high end.
The social distancing and cleaning were EXCEPTIONAL!!!! When we arrived, a table had left and even the seats were generously sprayed down and cleaned along with the table, and arms of the chairs.
The distance between each table are very generous and there are fire pits as well.
If you like margaritas hope Walter is on. He makes a fantastic margarita. More importantly I have SEVERE allergies and my food is perfect every time.
Great service - we went during brunch but the chef was able to cook special plate from the menu - Mahi-mahi - for my husband. - Delicious
Slow service, we had to wait for our waitress for 15 minutes to come over. Good food, good location.
Very nice sitting outdoors.
With the shortage of places to go for a sit down meal at a restaurant, it’s the perfect choice.
Our server, Samantha, was fantastic! Knew the menu, helped us with drink selections.
Made our dinner experience fun.
It’s so beautiful there love the fireplace wish that each table had bench seating instead of the chairs. I ordered the Halibut and it was really dry, overcooked & needed sauce. But I would return because it’s so beautiful and the view is worth it.
Our waiter was amazing, patient, and friendly! Loved the place!
Amazing view! The Staff was amazing and very accommodating. I enjoyed my corona birthday.
I love the Cast & Plow...glad they are open for outdoor dining...and understand they want to maximize their space due to covid...if they don't have seating at the fireplace tables they should let reservations know instead of showing up to find out that they wanted to seat us around the side of the building overlooking the pool.
What a nice place to relax and dine. Service was terrific and so was the food
I had dinner here two days in a row. I came the first time and had an excellent experience. So, I returned the next day with another friend. I ordered the same food - hamburger. First time. Perfect. Second time, unacceptable. I was surprised. Food was returned. The manager comped the dinner. I thought that was the right thing to do. I will return. The setting is beautiful. Very few customers. Well spaced.
Read that it was $20 bottomless mimosas but upon arrival it wasn’t. The food was okay was expecting more for the place. Overal 2 out of 4 stars
Because we’ve heard good things and it’s the Ritz Carlton, we were expecting at least a halfway decent menu. But it’s a bistro at best and not a very good one at that. The prices are out of this world, they dare to ask $54 dollars for what was essentially a steak sandwich! The final check was over $300 for 3 courses and a couple of glasses of alcohol...we’ve been to MUCH better places that are FAR superior and cost less. Save your money and go somewhere else!
Great food and service .but poor ambience... needs upgrading . Will go back when refurbished .
Thank you for the beautiful meal at Cast and Plow!
Really limited menu! The service was verrrryyyy slowwwww! Food was ok but not worth the wait!!!
Service from our waitress was horrible. She came to the table once and disappeared. We asked the wine server for help and he immediately turn the service from minus 5 to plus 10.
Beautiful spot for breakfast. Delicious smoked salmon and poached eggs.
Our friend told us of the “fab brunch”. Unfortunately what used to be fab is no longer. They only have a small breakfast buffet and a la carte after 1130. Honestly. It’s overpriced and not great. Service was super slow with us having several times to even order. Our order was wrong. Twice. And there was nothing social ordered. It was off menu. Our friend just settled the second time with wheat (and didn’t eat it even though Every item is “extra”) instead of sourdough. If you are stuck here the eggs Benedict out of all of ours was best. 1 Prosecco mimosa will set you back 16 and drinks run about 20. I don’t mind paying more and we were prepared fir an 80 dollar brunch. But we though it was a gourmet buffet feast with mimosa included. This was a disappointment in everything except the view and the music. Service is better at an ihop. And no apology or even recognition of long edits and wrong service Not a ritz Carlton experience of old. I’ve had better at a Hilton garden inn
The waiters and bartenders are the reason we go! Fran, Seth, Benny, Farouk, Michelle - everyone is incredible. We come back again and again!
It was time for our monthly "girls get together", so I chose Cast & Plow solely based on location. Marina Del Rey always has something to offer. I didn't realize it was located in the Ritz-Carlton but that was a plus. The valet was very pleasant and he even suggested that we try to get a table outside for the best view of the bay. Great idea. We were seated and immediately greeted by our knowledgeable server. The Rose-Gold Martini was delicious. We were there at 3:00 which fell between brunch and dinner hour so we had "BITES". Menu selections were still extensive enough for a full meal. The fries had wonderful herb flavor. Overall it was a lovely afternoon and we both said we would return.
With seemingly 3 hostesses working, can someone explain why my party was ignored for ten minutes as we stood, ungreeted at the checkin desk? We had reservations, but no one was interested. Not at all what I expect at the Ritz. You never get a second chance to make a first impression.
I had a reservation and was told to wait about 10 min. This happened 3 times. So after 30 minutes I asked if I should leave and go elsewhere and the hostess said, "Sure." Then I spoke to a manager who said he would try to seat us. There were many tables available and in the half hour I was waiting I saw tables that needed bussing that were just sitting with nobody coming to clean. I then told the manager I was going to have to leave and that was that. No real effort was made to maintain us as customers. Wow. Very disappointing, especially coming from a Ritz Carlton. So I am unable to really comment on the food. It looked and smelled delicious but I never got to try it.
Very beautiful place. Outside seating was quiet and peaceful. Service there was excellent. Food was delicious.
Pretty dank. A little pricey but service was impeccable.
My wive’s and my food were not hot.
On the breakfast menu, it did not indicate CLEARLY that there Is a buffet !
Amazing staff from hostess to bartender to server! Delicious dinner with excellent customer service.
