This place is quickly becoming our favorite restaurant
In Venice, Florida
Everything is great from appetizers to desserts
I had the jumbo shrimp
Another great bonus is the $15 corkage fee,
Can’t wait to go back
Third visit in the past month. Firmly entrenched as our local favorite. A fine dining gem on a par with the best anywhere. Decent wine list with reasonable offerings. Creative yet traditional Italian cuisine featuring fresh ingredients including homemade pasta, sausage etc. The latter were in a pappardelle w/ sausage & mushroom in a cream sauce - superb. Frutti di mare appetizer was fresh and light and perfectly seasoned. Gnocchi in a red sauce were excellent. The linguine w/ clams special also drew raves. As always, the unique tiramisu served in a large wine glass was a delicious finish along with a great cup of espresso.
Had our favorite waiter, Michael, again. Very attentive, helpful and efficient and very much worth a generous tip. Will be returning next week for a birthday dinner.
Food as usual was wonderful. I would not come here with friends unless we were outside. The noise was terrible-- we could not carry on a conversation
We enjoyed our meal and the service was excellent but the noise level took away
from an enjoyable evening with friends. We had to speak very loudly to be heard.
It just wasn't relaxing. Perhaps we should have reserved on the patio.
The food and service was wonderful. Nice to see an interesting menu! Used to having some pasta at the bottom of the zuppa de pesce..Live jazz music was great but a bit too loud. Will be nack
Great dining experience at Cassariano This last Saturday night.
First of all, loved that we could reserve on open table and be assured seating.
The place has great atmosphere and wonderful service- attentive but not overbearing.
Both of our dishes were delicious, and the menu had a lot of things we would love to go back and try.
Great evening- highly recommend!
Always an excellent meal. Never leave disappointed or hungry!
Excellent dining experience.....
We were staying in Venice for a week and we dined here the night before we left. Both the food and service were excellent. My husband and I had pasta dishes. The pasta is homemade and was delicious. We ordered dessert to take home as we were too full after dinner and that was delicious also . We sat outside on the sidewalk which was cozy and great for people watching. The tables are very close together . Can't wait to go back next year.
Great as always!
Love the menu choices, great service, something for everyone. I had a fantastic crab, avocado, tomato appetizer and my friend had the soup and sandwich special, along with a nice crisp white wine. A great lunch. Have never had a bad choice there. My fav in Venice.
The food was excellent and we received our food very quickly. The restaurant was noisy but in a good way. Our waiter, Michael, was very attentive, friendly, polite and entertaining. I had Ahi tuna which was cooked to perfection and my wife had the lobster ravioli which was the special of the day. She loved it. I think this will become one of our most frequented restaurants in Venice.
Great food and service. Seafood special was outstanding.
Great food, service, and ambiance.
Always amazing, always impeccable service. Best restaurant in Venice, hands down
Continues its excellence in all areas.
Four friends met for lunch--2 couples- and found the food to be delicious and the service excellent! We had the salmon and seafood over linguini and all was prepared well. We cannot wait to go again!
Fantastic Italian food. Best I have had. Wonderful selection. Innovative menu.Everyone in our party of four raved about their selections. Cant wait to go back.
Even though is was a Tuesday evening it was very busy in this restaurant. The entire meal was excellent. The service was good and the menu had a lot of things to choose from.
Second time here and the second time it didn't disappoint.
Our waiter, Anthony, was spot on. (Plus my daughter said he was, "hot.") He clearly explained all of the specials and was very knowledgeable about the menu. Just like the last time, there is never someone out of sight to get you whatever you want.
This time the specials were homemade ravioli stuffed with steak and portabello mushrooms in a brown sauce. We got one for the table and shared it as an appetizer. It was outstanding. The soup special was pasta fagioli. I LOVE that so I had to try some. It was, "good" but not as good as places back home. Solid effort.
The last time I was here, the couple at the next table told me that their veal meatballs were amazing. I tried them with an order of homemade spaghetti. Delicious!! There was goat cheese laced throughout the dish.
Everyone else loved what they got as well.
It's still amazing to me to have found an Italian restaurant outside of Jersey that's as good as ours. I hope they stick around! There are still a lot of things on the menu I want to try!
We have been going to Cassariano since they opened up and we have never been disappointed. Outstanding staff and food!!!
Consistently a top notch dining experience!! Casariano’s never disappoints.
Service was impeccable! Food was superb. So much so we ate there twice in one week! We had the same waiter and he remembered our dietary restrictions and favorite wine!
Our second visit and the second impression was as good as the first. Again, appreciated the creative approach to traditional dishes, e.g., a beautifully cooked and presented sea bass, and the seafood linguine. Our waiter was professional, efficient and very attentive.
Overall another great dinner. This is definitely our go-to restaurant in Venice.
Kendall was our waitress. She was phenomenal! Food is the best in the Venice area! We had the duck, sea bass, Ny strip and a couple pasta dishes. Everyone loved their meal.
Good food! Would come back again.
This is our favorites Italian restaurant in Venice. Homemade pasta and everything made from scratch.
Our waiter Emil was wonderful. We’ll be back soon!
I never get tired of going to Cassariano's. Great food, wonderful staff and a great atmosphere. Even during the peak season, it manages to deliver great food and cocktails no matter how crowded the restaurant is. I wish that we had something like it in Washington where I spend some time.
We needed to meet another couple for lunch to discuss a business deal. We picked Cassarianos because we could get a reservation. The food was good. The service was good. The noise level was not too loud. We were happy with our experience.
Beautiful restaurant, professional service, good food...great Frutti de Mare appetizer.
We've eaten here twice before and thought everything about Cassariano's was perfect. Our most recent experience was not nearly up to par. An off night? I hope so.
Cassariano's is a wonderful restaurant with great food. We took some out of town guests for the Sunday night Jazz dinner. We had a fabulous time as did the rest of the diners. People were dancing, some diners got up to sing or join the ensemble on the piano. Truly one of the bests nights I have had in Venice.
Have dined hear many times. Presentation and food quality is excellent. One of the best in Venice with an ever changing menu.
Our go-to place pre-theater. Lovely sidewalk dining with ambience. Three scallops for $33 seemed a bit pricey. However, everything else made up for it.
Anthony helped tonight and the evening was magical. Very attentive and we enjoyed the fuss he made on my elderly mother. She was really touched.
Food was fantastic as well.
Thank you all.
We are full time residents. We know the best place to have a delicious meal. Cassariano rates tops on our list. We will be going back for a late lunch and dinner in the next few weeks. Our guests enjoyed it as well. They will also will be back. Five star Italian restaurant in our opinion.
We love this restaurant. We took our friends for their first visit, they said they practically licked their plates. The bone-in veal, the filet mignon, and the shellfish soup were all fabulous. The shrimp appetizers (we shared two of them) were a great start. Chocolate mousse was a perfect end. How could the restaurant improve? More professional servers.
Heard from several friends that this was the best Italian restaurant in the area, and we were certainly not disappointed. If first impressions are the most lasting, then Cassariano will enjoy many more visits from us. The food was superb; there wasn't one dish that did not qualify for a repeat performance. The menu includes mostly traditional Italian dishes, but we found them to be prepared as well as any we've had, and we've had a lot. Eggplant parmesan and veal scallopini were notable. Many had some delicious creative twists, e.g., a pasta special of rigatoni with a lamb ragu, risotto aroncini with porcini mushrooms beautifully deep fried, and a papardelle with Italian sausage in a cream sauce (pasta & sausage both homemade and as good as you'll get anywhere). Topped the meal off with a shared tiramisu served in a large wine glass like a parfait - delicious.
Our waiter, Michael, was friendly, energetic, and helpful almost to the point of being entertaining without going too far. Will ask to be seated at his table when we come back.
A decent wine list with good selection and not too over-the-top prices. Michael suggested a Sangiovese that was excellent and reasonable.
If I were to offer a negative, it would be their following the trendy presentation practice of piling the entrée & sides on top of one another. I prefer my flavors separate to combine as I choose. Especially since the stuff on the bottom often ends up soggy.
A bit on the expensive side but worth it and definitely not overpriced.
