Waiter was surly, Shrimp and Cannelloni beans tasteless and overpriced. Waiter gave me a sneer when I asked if they had a quality Lambrusco ( not the 70’s sweet stuff). Very poor beer selection in this day and age- just fizzy yellow stuff. Actually kind of humorous- cooks were Mexican and Asian in a top tier Italian Restaurant!

My son-in-law and I decided to dine again at Cassariano's. We have eaten there before and based on that experience wanted to return. Upon being seated and listening to the specials we both decided to try the shrimp and tagliatelle pasta which was one of the specials that evening. To start the meal my son-in-law ordered the burrata and parma ham appetizer while I ordered the insalata mista……..both were very good. When our server delivered our meals and taking our first bites we found our dinners to be delicious. To complement our meals I ordered a bottle of Soave White Wine which ended up being a nice choice. Our server provided very good service throughout the meal and we were quite satisfied with the entire experience. We will definitely return.

This restaurant never disappoints! The food is outstanding, and the selection fits any mood. Also great service and wine selection.

This is a great place for Italian food. It is quite noisy indoors so I wouldn’t recommend it for a romantic dinner unless you sat outdoors with the benefit of one of the heat lamps there.

The most authentic Italian food in the area!! One of our “go to” restaurants in Venice!! We are never disappointed! Love the veal dishes and they always have wonderful specials!!

Food was excellent. Inside the restaurant, we found it too noisy, do we moved outside. That was much quieter.

amazing food and cocktails. Amazing service. I just wish it were a little quieter. I know I am old fashioned, but I would prefer tablecloths. Our waitress let us try several wines before ordering a bottle, which is important to wine connoisseurs, like our son.

Every visit is a special occasion. Service and food is always excellent-they never fall below perfection. I have always enjoyed the food. My favorite is the duck with fig risotto. Heaven.
All my guests when they visit want to go here, and I know why it’s fantastic!

My friend had the homemade pasta with seafood and I had the amazing special; strip steak sliced over thin slices of potato and spinach with a beautiful mushroom sauce. Both of us died and went to heaven. I have never had a bad meal at Cassariano and this was one of the best!

Diverse menu, food well prepared and served. Ambiance leaves a bit to be desired, minimalist decor , somewhat noisy. Veterans Day recognition deserves special note and appreciation.

We visited restaurant while in Venus on vacation. We had a reservation since it was a Saturday and downtown, so we expected It to be busy. It was so cold inside that even with long sleeves, it was uncomfortable. We chose to sit outside, which is on the sidewalk in front of parking cars on the street - not ideal. This more or less ruined our experience. Our waiter was not friendly and displayed impatience with us. The food quality was standard Italian and over priced. I would not recommend it to vacationers. There are many restaurants in the area far more enjoyable at a lesser price.

We went for dinner on Veterans Day. Thank you Cassariano for you special offer to veterans. I had the rack of lamb which was truly the best I have EVER had! Beet salad is also amazing.

Was out with friend and my husband. Felt like the waitress did everything to avoid our table re: service and would approach our table with standard lines like “is everything tasting great” and then hurry away without caring to hear a response.

There were four of us for dinner on Saturday Nov 2nd and everything was absolutely perfect. Veal Scallopini, Veal Ravioli, Egg Plant Ravioli and Chicken Milanese were all cooked to perfection and would highly recommend. Great evening food is always excellent.

We were excited to try Cassariano for the first time since buying a weekend condo in Venice. The service was rushed and rude. The crescendo was being tossed the bill, like a frisbee, at the end of service; only to be charged for the wrong dinner. Unreal. We have been here before going to the Venice Theater and it is still a great place to eat. BUT, they were busy and tables for 2 were not in the best location. So we asked for the back room where we got a table for 4 AND where the noise level was much, much lower than out front.

Cassariano is just great, they rarely miss a beat, the food is wonderful along with service. Ask for Liz for server, but all are great, or if you get lucky and can grab seats at the bar, Joe is wonderful, and a real experience to watch Joe work, dining at the bar is fun.

My father and I had a fabulous meal and the service was superb. He had the rack of lamb and it was done perfectly. I had the duck over risotto with figs and the flavor combination was amazing. We are planning to return on my next visit in December. Great restaurant in Venice!
