My Dad’s lamb was fantastic. Prepared and presented wonderfully. I had a horrible time though from the start and did not enjoy my meal or dining experience primarily because of the horrible waiter. When I told the waiter I have an allergy to shrimp he simply yelled at me: THEN DON’T ORDER THE SHRIMP. - wow. Why would he think I would order that when I know I’m allergic???? I had to calmly explain to him that it’s important my food isn’t cooked with shrimp he gave me this blustery brush off kind of weak assurance that some other guy handles the shrimp. This waiter was aggressive, dismissive and awful. When I got my gnocchi I took one bite and something just felt off. I didn’t like it. There was something seafoody about the sauce, and I could feel hives on my face coming up. I barely sat through the dinner with my water until my parents were finished and we could get out of there and home to take some diphenhydramine. On top of it - it was overpriced in general and we were seated right next to the kitchen where there was constant high traffic and incredible noise. I guess it’s my fault I didn’t specify not to be seated near the kitchen- but I’ve never been there and didn’t realize how awful that location was. I think there is some back room seating too so lots of people were constantly filing by between us and the waitstaff picking up orders from the kitchen. We couldn’t even hold a conversation it was that annoyingly loud. I will NEVER go back there again.

We have always had a great experience at Cassarianos, the food is outstanding, the service excelente, drinks are excellent as well. We love it there strongly recommended

My most favorite place in Florida. Food, drinks, service, atmosphere. All awesome! This is my go to. If I could only eat at one place the rest of my life it would be Cassarianos! ❤️

Food tastes better and much fresher in this location, but Sarasota has a better out-seating location. Both locations is amazing. Thank you!

Cassariano's downtown is our go-to place when we're back in Venice. We love the authentic Italian food and wine. Everything is always prepared to perfection. We've been lucky to have Giorgio as our server every time - he's friendly, fun, and always has interesting insight, expertise, and suggestions about the food and Italian culture. We love the warm, local feel of this restaurant and always look forward to our return. Thank you!
