The restaurant was temporarily closed and no one called to advised me of it being closed so I did not attend my brunch AT ALL! Truly disappointed
Had a reservation for Fathers Day. Arrived at the restaurant to find it was closed. It would have been very nice for someone to notify us ahead of time that our reservation was cancelled. So thanks for ruining our scheduled plans. Also, every place was booked so we had to return home. We will never think of dining at your establishment again.
It was closed. Thanks for the heads up I’m assuming due to Covid, but it was Father’s Day so knowing in advance would have been nice
Restaurant was closed due to covid with no forwarning.
I am going to assume they were under staffed or someone called out, but service was terribly slow. The staff was working very hard, but could not keep up.
Given all that’s going on with Covid etc I would expect everyone to be on top of their game. Our booth smelled like it was recently wiped down with a bleach solution so that was good but the downside was the air conditioning didn’t appear to be working which made it stuffy and uncomfortable. It was too hot to sit outside though. The waitress was pleasant but didn’t come back enough to check on us. We ordered our hamburgers medium and medium well but they were both rare. We were hungry so we just ate them. There was an event of some sorts going on upstairs so the noise level was high. The manager came around after to ask how things were but honestly it wasn’t all that bad. Just maybe the service. Very pleasant girl though.
Marli was professional, cool, collected. I was very picky with seating and dealing with low air circulation. Staff was accommodating and sweet. I highly recommend
Great food. Not very large portions. Definitely would be back again.
My girlfriend loves to party
Too loud, food was ok but nothing to write home about.
Super loud obnoxious people in the inside dining area and it made it not enjoyable. There was also tons of people standing next to their table instead of sitting and it was really rude and distracting. We had dinner at 6:30 so it’s not like it was late when you would expect that atmosphere. Wouldn’t go here again.
Marley was a great waitress. I never felt like we had to wait for food/refills etc.
Seating was prompt, even got in a little earlier than the reservation. And our server was absolutely fantastic, quick and very accommodating.
If you have not been here, you need to visit ASAP. Food is phenomenal. Manager was attentive and present. Server and hostess were great.
Great casual date spot! Very trendy and super pet friendly. Saw almost every table on the patio with a dog
Love the staff, amazing food, great prices!! Will definitely be there again soon!
Great food, drinks & atmosphere! Service was perfect.
We had a wonderful time here on Mother's Day. The food was delicious, try the eggs benedict with filet medallions it was fantastic. Of course, you must add the endless mimosas to compliment your meal. Our server was very polite and courteous, the atmosphere was exciting especially during these times.
Excellent brunch choice! Great atmosphere! Will go again.
The brunch was delicious! The music out on the patio was a little loud, but everything else was great.
Not great at all
Very nice! I will be back very soon ❤️
This was our first time here. The service was friendly and helpful. I got the shrimp and grits while my husband ordered the meatloaf. They were both very delicious! I would say the best we have had in a while. The black bubbles drink was very yummy as well. We will be back to try the brunch.
Not worth the money. The portions were not as big as I was expecting, which would have been fine if the food was something to write home about. It was overall not very impressive. The candied bacon jar had a good flavor, but the presentation was cumbersome and difficult to serve (a bit of a sticky mess). The entree, a Spanish frittata, was not what I would describe as a frittata, but rather an open-faced omelet on a pile of under-seasoned potatoes––all very edible, but not special or worth $12. The service was fine, but understaffed, as I saw a total of two waiters working the 5-6 tables...it took us about 15 minutes for our waiter to come pick up our bill. Oh! I almost forgot. One of our party members had ordered fried eggs over medium, but what she got was a runny, liquid-y slop. The waiter luckily agreed, with shock, that those were not over medium, and took $2 off our bill. I wouldn't go back without major menu changes––a shame, because the restaurant itself was gorgeous! Definitely not deserving of "best brunch in Tampa"...
Got sat at someone else’s table, valet had run out of tickets and place seemed pretty dead for a Saturday night
Fantastic venue, down home cooking with a twist, delicious drinks and on-point service. Highly recommended.
This was my first time at Cask and not my last! Some friends and I were there to take advantage of the great happy hour specials and we weren’t disappointed. I started with the buffalo cauliflower and it was delicious-the flavor was EXACTLY like a buffalo chicken wing! I also has the sangria, which was fruity and strong and the delicious chicken and waffles (which could have been a tad warmer). The service was very fast and attentive and they have great options for happy hour food and drinks!
Cask never disappoints! The server was very patient with us while we took our time sipping mimosas, chatting, and deciding on what to order. The food was amazing, per usual. Overall, a great time! Highly recommend!
Service wasn’t good. Truffle Mac and cheese lacked truffle anything, asked for vegetarian veggies, arrived with meat... caught young ladies smoking in the bathroom, alerted the manager—nothing was done. Total waste of $80.
First time and enjoyed the experience. Meatloaf was good but excited to explore your other menu options.
I judge solely based on food and the food at cask is far below good. No flavor what so ever. Add some salt, maybe some pepper and we'll discuss. Otherwise would never go back. Nothing else was great enough to make me ignore the atrocity of every dish we encountered
My husband and I went for dinner and the food and service was very good. The mussels were fantastic! We will return.
The food was delicious. I got one of the “new plates” the Spanish Frittata, and it came out perfect. I also ordered the tried and true deviled eggs (I am obsessed) and they came out perfectly. Our service was excellent, the server on top of topping our drinks off and asking if we were good.
The only issue that came up was the parking. There was a massive backup in the line to get into the lot, and as you are coming off a major road it felt very dangerous. There was also a 15 minute wait to get the car back after I was done eating. But the fact that it is complementary valet is very nice and makes up for the wait.
Service, drinks and live music were great. We hadn’t been here in almost a year, and the food is not what it once was. Apps were cold, fried green tomatoes were dry and hard. Jambalaya was bland and colorless. Meatloaf was just ok. Sides were also bland. Brussels sprouts were a little mushy and tasteless.
Service food and ambiance is always impeccable!!!
The Cask has a very nice and fun atmosphere. They had a single musician that really helped create that atmosphere. The food was good, but it was a disappointing night for Valentine's Day. The lobster flatbread was amazing, but then they brought the rest of our meal. My wife's came out fine and had a nice presentation. I ordered the ribeye and they brought me out a plate of ribs. I sent it back and they finally brought out the steak which did have good flavor. The menu says it is a 16oz ribeye, I say there is no way it was 16 ounces. I would be be willing to give them another opportunity only because of the flavors.
The food was really good! The service was subpar but it was because they had one server for an entire half of the dining room (so it wasn’t her fault, and it was her first day!)
Yummy brunch, tasty food, great view and breeze on the porch.
Made a reservation for 10:30. Arrived and was told the restaurant closes at 9. Called a couple times to confirm reservation and only got a busy tone. Very frustrating
Affordable funky place for brunch. Portions are not huge but nice Bloody Mary or bottomless mimosas are a nice touch.
