It was a terrible rainy day so it was packed by noon. We had to wait for a seat even though we had an early reservation. They ran out of plates, glasses...it was bad. But I was with friends who said it was not normally that crowded. The food was fun and tasty, luckily it came quickly. I will definitely give it one more try.
Overall a genuinely positive experience. They punch above their weight when it comes to food quality.
Great food and cocktails! Recommend it for brunch as well. Cool outdoor area.
Cute spot! Delicious deviled eggs. Great service by the bar!
Cask is always a great choice for outstanding food, service and atmosphere!!!
Excellent for Sunday brunch with friends.
Very cute place inside. The beer cheese was awesome. The tacos were just okay needed more flavor.
We had a great evening at Cask! Drinks were great and so was our waitress. She was very helpful and prompt with her service. I would recommend the chicken and waffles, it is amazing!
We went here because it was described as a southern restaurant with soul food. The food was nasty. The mash potatoes were cold, the ribs were cold and all fat/bones, the meatloaf had an after taste. We were not impressed at all and upset we spent $60 . The broccoli and Mac n cheese was good and the server was very nice. It was also too dark in there for us. We could barely see the menu. We like to try new restaurants so, we know some are good, some are bad. We will not be returning or recommending this place.
The food was great. Noisy and a little difficult to hear your dinner guests.
Best shrimp and grits EVER!
Our server was absolutely amazing. We had such a great experience at Cask. The brunch was so delicious. Thank atmosphere was also great. I highly recommend.
Quaint charming restaurant in he SoHo area. Brunch was amazing the Feench Toast was to die for:), DJ played nice music which gave the atmosphere a nice feel. I will be back!!!!
Great food, excellent service. Give Cask a try you’ll be glad you did.
Arrived early to catch a bite before a show at the Amelie Arena and had our choice of seating. Took advantage of happy hour special drinks but ordered food from main menu. Fried green tomatoes were crispy and served with creamy mozzarella and fresh basil. The crab crusted grouper was pan seared and served over wilted spinach with a light citrus butter sauce; yum. The crab ravioli was the big winner though. Fresh pasta stuffed with flaky crab, topped with large shrimp and a caper wine sauce; either dish could be shared. Our server was superb and there was good teamwork among the runners and kitchen staff.
It was nice and the food was good but it was extremely hot inside.
Service was good, food and drinks were delicious!
We were on vacation and our waiter was the best ever
Kyrsten was the best server, very attentive and helpful!
Food was great! Service was excellent. Nice ambiance. Very good experience.
Everything on the menu is always a hit! The staff is friendly. Lauren was wonderful!
Great food, great prices, and great ambiance. The only complaint is the cocktail drinks are a bit watered down.
Food was delicious and server, Kyrsten, was great. We will definately be back.
Food and service were excellent!! We have only been for Happy Hours and South Tampa Chamber events and will we definitely be back again! Short Ribs are amazing!!!
Service was very good. The food was good, but not as good as we had expected. The atmosphere is a bit cold but comfortable.
Food was amazing and the staff was the best! Our waiter was so tentative and Abby at the front desk is amazing!
OMG. This place is amazing. The guys at the bar are so awesome, hospitable and FUN. Loved every minute there. Food is outstanding. NOT one thing we did not enjoy
Excellent food and drink for a birthday celebration! Really enjoyed the braise short rib!
First the positive. The food was very good all four of us just raved over the entrees. The cocktail menu was different than listed on the open table app. We asked about the whiskey flights and the server told us the drink menu has changed. We ordered a couple of featured cocktails and we were underwhelmed. The atmosphere was nice but the temperature was almost unbearable. We mentioned it to the server and her response was “I’m hot too”. We probably would have stayed for dessert or another cocktail but was uncomfortably hot we were anxious to leave.
The staff was extremely friendly, the food was very good, the manager made sure everything was up to expectations and they did a great job making us feel welcome.
We had reservation, when arrived was told by hostess that we had to take a table outside, no option was given. We would have waited for an inside table. But it her words, unfortunately an outside table is what we have. So we left.
We sat outside which had a lot of street noise. All the food and cocktails we ordered (black bubbles, tacos, and filet) were good. Waiter was ok. Sometimes it took him a long time to return to our table and our drinks were empty.
We chose Cask based on the reviews and we were a little disappointed. The person who was destined to be our server passed the table not less than 5 times before saying “I’ll be right back”. Then, the time before the “bread course” and meal selection was 20 mins and another 40 before it was brought to the table. We couldn’t get response from the server or any management. The saving grace was that the food was delicious. I’d love to give Cask another shot next time in town. I hope it is just t training issue
No air conditioning so it was uncomfortable
Second time coming to Cask and food and service were great. We are indoors and it was rather warm inside. Not sure they have A/C so sadly the men in our group were sweating and getting uncomfortable. We enjoyed some half priced appetizers, drinks and entrees and all of the food was delicious.
The food was delicious and it was a nice surprise to arrive in time to take advantage of some happy hour specials on a weekend (until 7pm!). Inside was noisy (hard to hear the person across the table), but there were a couple birthday groups, so it might not always be like that. We look forward to trying out brunch soon.
I’ve been here several times, and I LOVE the food! Everything I’ve ever had here has been delicious!
We stopped in for dinner after work on a Thursday. The dining room had 1 table of ladies and us. The other table was obscenely loud. Noose from the bar area also was audible in the dining room. There is nothing soft to dampen the noise. Service was good. Drinks were meh. Titos Lemonade was practically all lemonade. Long island iced tea was mostly sours. Food was excellent - calamari, deviled eggs, chicken n waffle, and the meatloaf. All were good.
Great Spot in Soho. Loved the dishes. Very different and all tasty. We will be back!
