Where to begin? I made a reservation to a restaurant that was closed down when we got there and we were never informed. It was a special occasion, we had many people with us. What a terrible night. I called before we left and they said, 'yes, you can bring whatever you want" as far as decorations. Get there and there's a note on the door that the property had been sold.

Terrible! My wife and I plus several other customers were waiting for the doors to open and found by a person in a SUV informed us that the restaurant was sold! That was the doors weren't open. Wasted time waiting for this place on our 30th wedding anniversary! We went Claim Jumpers! Great food!

we had a table for 5 with differing tastes, every person really loved their meal. Don't be put off by the location in the parking lot. The inside of the restaurant is very nice.

I am from the New York area and not to be prejudice, we have food that is a very high-quality. We had steaks which were mediocre at best, the wine wasn't bad( Melbeck), The appetizer was way overdone and still remained on our bill after the waiter said that he would remove it. The first time I was in Riverside I was disappointed. I figured since LA had such press all the food would be good. This restaurant was number one out of steak houses in the area? I would've given at the bottom of the list number 15

Reservation @ 8:30 showed up we thought they were closed. No one there. Manager waited on us took the order gave us the food we left we worked a 14 shift and needed to eat and sleep......... soup was nuked, salad way over dressed, steaks were so so, reheat mashed potatoes....

Great food, not too big of a menu. C&C has basic, delicious cuisine choices. Avocado tempura apps a winner. Keeping it simple & delicious is why C&C has been around so long! Ambience so comfotable.

Excellent service from Noelle. The food was prepared well and the salad bar was good except that they need spinach and other greens. Too much ice berg lettuce. We will definitely be back.

After seeing coupons, for this restaurant, several times, I decided to give them a try. I arrived at 5:30pm, there were very few people already seated. It took several minutes for someone to notice I was there & be seated. My server made up for it by being very attentive. I ordered the spiced artichoke appetizer, to be followed by the Ribeye with asparagus. The ribeye came out only a couple of minutes after the artichoke. They need to work on their timing, though all of the food was well prepared and tasty. I'll be back again. Sad that the coupons are only geared for couples or groups.

Not up to par with the other Cask & Cleaver restaurant in San Dimas. First impression upon entering seemed almost depressing. This one needs some attention to keep the salad bar items at least half full. At 6pm there was little lettuce and other items were low. The waitress was the only redeeming feature that evening. Steak lacked flavor even though it was cooked as we ordered. String beans were just that....stringy I'm sorry to say and therefore difficult to cut. The low number of customers was a testament to it's low popularity.

Our server was great except a couple times he would walk off just as we are about to same something. I don't think he meant to be rude; I think he was overwhelmed with all his tables (one table behind us with obnoxious customers had too many demands for him.) other than that. Everything was fantastic and our server was great. Also we saw the manager when we first came in and we saw the manager cruising tables to make sure all was well. That is rare to see a manager take such care in their customers.

My husband and I have been going to Cask N Cleaver Riverside for 47 years since he was in college at UCR. The baseball cut top sirloin and salad bar are delicious!!

Had a relaxed dinner reasonably priced. The décor was very retro which is a nice change of pace. It is set back off the road so you would not normally notice it. It was quiet so it was nice for dinner conversation. It has a nice salad bar which complimented the entrée very well. We each had steaks which were cooked as ordered. The meal was a good value for what we received.

It took a long time to get service. We were told that there was only one server who was also the bartender and the manager was working in the kitchen. That made us afraid to order a steak so we went for the soup and salad bar. This is a nice restaurant so it's too bad that they cut back on staff. We won't go back.

The food was very good, we had the Prime Rib Sandwich. The service was a little delayed due to a large party just before us, but the server kept us informed. We drove in from Palm Springs and it was worth the drive.

We always go to Cask n' Clever for all our special occasions. They have a menu for everyone in our family and our friends. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We always look forward to the next occasion to celebrate at Cask n' Clever.

There was only one server for almost every table in the place, he was slow to get our food and drinks, which was not his fault as he was alone. The quality of the food was subpar, each steak we ordered had a lot of fat, so about 30% of the steak was inedible. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant potatoes. The salad bar did not seem fresh. Overall pretty disappointed.

We were celebrating our Granddaughter's 20th Birthday and Cask & Cleaver was a great spot for that occasion. The food was very good and the service was great and friendly. The atmosphere was kind of warm and cozy. I'm sure we'll be back.

Went for a casual Saturday evening dinner, service was great, although slightly slow, food was, as iut always is, very good and perfectly prepared. Would always recommend.
