Great service, amazing food!! Did I say the service was great?. Thank you for a great evening. One and only dislike was the stained carpet.
We loved the Riverside restaurant. But we have to travel further to Rancho Cucamonga since the location in Riverside is closed. My steak was not cooked properly. I asked for medium and it was well done which was extremely disappointing. It was the worst steak I've ever had! My wife's was cooked perfect. Everything else was delicious. We will try it again and hope that this was just an accident.
Cask N Cleaver is a local institution. Been serving good food for more than 40 years. Great salad bar. Bar scene is lively with lots of locals.
It’s great to be able to count on the Cask for great food and service. Steaks are high quality and always perfectly cooked. Caesar salad is the best!
Excellent service and great food!
The best steak in town! This is a regular stop for us when we come to town. Great food, friendly staff, and an easy place to bring a large group!
Food was good. It was getting busy. And I’m thankful it wasn’t too slow, but the service was almost too fast. Got all you can eat salad bar, and didn’t even have time to finish before our food arrived.
Always a fun place to celebrate. One of our favorite spots to eat
Good food and good service. Prime Rib was pricey, but tasty. Peanut slaw was delicious.
It was my wife and I wedding anniversary . This is a special day. Cask and Cleaver was the right place to celebrate. The steaks where great and the service also great. The salad bar is another reason why we come here. Fresh and good quality products.
We were a party of eight (two children, six adults). Our server was wonderful and the food was quite good. We had a good time.
We went here because it was close by. Everything was very expensive. Most of us ordered the $15 burger. I ordered the blue burger. I could hardly taste the blue cheese. I had to deconstruct it to find the blue cheese.
We went for our anniversary dinner. The food was very good, one of the best prime ribs I’ve had for a few years. The restaurant was very busy everybody was hustling from the manager on down. The service was a little slow they may of just been busier than usual or having staffing problems. There were several large groups around us that were very loud. It has been a few years since I was at a cask n clever it is a little more casual than it use to be I would definitely go back but maybe not for a romantic dinner.
Been going to Cask since 1986. Service was excellent, drinks always great, salad bar always great. Main corse for the price was aliitle a Average than it used to be.
We celebrated my wife’s 70th Birthday with family in the Banquet room. We had 23 adults and 4 children in attendance, our waitress did a wonderful job with that many people.
Dan our server was amazing! Great food and we loved the mint chip mud pie!
This was not my first visit to this restaurant but a not good one.
Starting with our orders, we brought a longtime friend from out of town and she ordered Prime Rib cooked medium. We ordered prime rib med well and asked to split it,which they did.
My potato was not hot but warm and I needed butter, it took ten minutes to get the butter and by then the potato was really cold. Our friend told us at the end of the meal that her prime rib was overdone and we said ours was somewhat not done enough, so we know that our plates were switched and they gave each of us the wrong one. We should have told the manager but since we were treating our friend we did not want to embarrass our friend. The bill was $82 and I really feel it was not worth the price because even the quality and taste of the meat was not good like it usually was there. Also my friend smelled something going in and mentioned going out, we think the carpet smelled musty it was unpleasant smelling
All said I would go back but not unless they offer to compensate me for some of the money spend there for an not so worth it meal.
Good steaks and good food cooked as we requested . We go often. Half price wine during happy hour in the bar.
We went on New Years Eve this year and thought that the service might take a bit longer than usual, but I was wrong. They were so ready and ramped up to serve everyone and insure a fun evening. Our food came quick and our server was very warm and friendly, as always. A neighborhood gem for sure.
We have been going to the Cask for over 50 years! We have seen lots of changes, some good, some not as good. Service is always good to exceptional. Food the same. Some tables are too close together so make sure you ask for something more separated if it makes you uncomfortable to sit right next to other guests you don't know. We just asked for a window table when making reservations. Decent salad bar and other salad options available. Steaks are always good. So much better and definitely prefer the Cask over Sycamore Inn. Probably half the price and twice as good.
Consistency...always good food and service!
Haven’t been for awhile, we will come again soon based on our positive experience this last visit
Grandparents and grandkiddos
The only complaint was it was a little long that dinner came out.
Fifth visit there this year (1st visits ever). There is no doubt that our next visit will be soon!
Very nice dinner on a Friday night. The Open Table reservation was perfect for a busy night & we were seated immediately. Had the beef kebabs & shrimp skewers & both were delicious. The only negative was the martini which was good but they charged $14.50 which seemed expensive compared to the more reasonable entrees.
Great food and good value! The salad bar is great too! I loved my filet and my husband loved the ribs!
Hadn’t been to Cask and Cleaver for years. Went for my Birthday. The prime rib meals and Salmon dinners were good. The Filets were bland and a bit dry, needed steak sauce to make them taste better. Over all I like the restaurant.
Excellent steaks, prepared perfectly, fresh baked potatoes, great salad, as well as expertly prepared cocktails.
