Weds evening at the Casino is part of our family's Thanksgiving tradition. They accomodated our party of twelve without issue. Thank you for making more great memories. See you in the Spring!
Everything was great, the food, the service, the selection choices on the special dinner menu. The only slight negative was that the restaurant was empty. Too bad that tourists want to stay downtown and don't frequent this waterfront gem in the off-season.
Food was ok but in my opinion over priced for the main course. A piece of salmon topped with almonds was $32. Without any drinks, our bill with tax and tip was over $100.
One of the worst restaurant meals in recent memory. The baked stuffed lobster special should have been sent back to the kitchen. It was dry due to over cooking. The stuffing had the texture and taste of beach sand. The clam chowder had little flavor. The lobster roll was stuffed with tired lobster meat and had little added flavor. The shrimp scampi was the most appealing but was uninspired. On the plus side, the service was excellent and parking across the street was convenient on the stormy September night we went there. Now we know why it was the only place in town we could sit down at without a wait on a Thursday evening. People vote with their feet.
Two of us had a lobster special, and the lobster was very, very dry!
The food was great, the service was excellent, the view of the ocean from our table was romantic.
Driving home on Labor Day weekend and we were looking for a good spot to have Sunday brunch.
The Casino was on our way back to Boston, and it really hit the spot.
It was rainy out, so we weren't able to take advantage of the spectacular view, but we will be back when the sun is shining.
Service was very friendly and prompt and the food was quite tasty.
Food and atmosphere was good,, DaddyO's live 50's band was fabulous !!
On a lovely late summer night, we sat on the deck for dinner. Delicious seafood, well mixed drinks, terrific service from Heather. We will be back.
Great view, appetizers, meal and service. We enjoyed the evening!
The food was excellent. Loved the live music.
Just enjoyed our first dinner here. Had a waterfront table at sunset...food, wine, and unbeatable view made it a perfect night!
Great view from the deck and the food was excellent!
We were there for lunch on the afternoon of the partial eclipse. Sitting on the beautiful deck overlooking the ocean was perfect because we were able to watch the progression of the eclipse as well!
Food and drink were great but our server was overworked and too busy to be attentive. Not his fault. But we enjoyed our visit and will return.
Delicious food, lovely view of Vineyard Sound and Martha's Vineyard from outside deck. The seared sea scallops and risotto and the almond crusted salmon were delicious. Have eaten there many times and have not been disappointed.
Great outdoor beachside dining. Food was ok. Good selection. Lobster ravioli were a hit. Service was a little rushed even though the place was not full.
Prices were not outrageous.
Will go back for special occasions with out of town friends on a clear summer night. Definitely premium view
Arrived at 3:00 for our reservation but were told we had to wait until 4:00 for anything other than brunch. Had a drink at the bar while we waited which was a pleasure as the bartender was fantastic. When we were seated outside (one of two parties in the entire place) we noticed the table and general area were wet due to the fact the ceiling was dripping water everywhere. We asked to move to one of the five other open tables next to the railing but we're told they were all reserved. The hostess/waitress offered to 1. Sit us inside or 2. Move our wet table a little to the right. After a short argument detailing how absurd that was them, we opted for option 2 to keep our view. The food was alright but the overall experience left a bad taste in my mouth. It's a shame because the casino has amazing views and a lot of potential but honestly the BBC across the street has a lot more value.
Meal rushed. Service poor. Food mediocre.
The view is great, but there is nothing else to recommend this restaurant.
We brought my 90 year old mother for a family meal on a beautiful night. I had requested and confirmed, prior to arriving, a table by the window. They gave a us a table in the middle of the room.
The noise level was so high, we had to yell to converse.
The food was excellent. We all enjoyed fresh salads. I had the lamb chops with fresh, perfectly cooked summer vegetables. My husband had the surf and turf. He said the steak was excellent and the shrimp was good. My son had the lobster roll it was a healthy portion. My mother had the scallop and shrimp scampi, which she loved.
It was a shame we couldn't enjoy any dinner conversation. I wish I requested a table on the porch. The views are stunning.
A stunning setting that called for stunning food. Unfortunately the food was not quite up to the expected level for the price we paid.
From our party of four we had a well cooked Fillet Mignon, and tasty elements on the other dishes. Nice flavours on the lamb chops and tasty lobster. But with raw pastry on our asparagus fries, pasta that was just too thick on our ravioli and overcooked pork.
This restaurant has a lot of potential, very good service and stunning views. And for this you expect to pay the premium price on the cape, however the food should also reach the premium quality.
I got Married here about a year ago so we went there for our one year anniversary and we had brunch and it was outstanding we ate outside with the Oceanview in the breeze .
Five of us dined and only one had a good meal (lobster)... the statler chicken Marsala was beyond dry and there was very little sauce in the dish… The gnocchi bolognese was also pretty bad but not as bad as the Statler chicken. The only reason why I gave the restaurant 2 stars was that we sat outside and it was an absolutely gorgeous night. Unfortunately Casino Wharf is much more sizzle than steak.
The restaurant in particular the staff is horrible. We were seated, the waiter took our drink order, my friend asked for a dry, no vermouth martini. The martini was full of vermouth and was sent back. He had a little attitude as he placed the bottle of water we ordered on the table. We had to open and pour it ourselves. We were getting very cold as we were seated under the A/C vent and asked to be moved to the patio that had four empty tables. The hostess was busy was a group (their reservations were lost). She would check for us after she sat them outside. A waiter helped us open the windows next to our table for warm air. We asked the him to see if we could be moved (this is 20 minutes later), he would check. Someone we thought was a waiter came by and closed the windows stating that only the upper half could be opened. He also was going to check to see if we could be moved. Finally we left and on the way out asked for the manager who turned out to be the person who closed the windows. Didn't care we were leaving and that we were going to pay for the cocktails or water we didn't drink. The valet was nice as he gave us directions to another restaurant. I put poor for food although we didn't order. The Flying Bridge was great.
First visit to this restaurant and loved it. The fried asparagus were delish. Entrees were reasonably priced and good!
Great food beautiful location. Never disappointed.
Beautiful setting right on the beach. The porch was a great place to enjoy lunch.
This was a last minute reservation on a very busy day, but I caught an open spot and when we arrived the reservation was in their system. The table was by the window so we had a great view. Our waitress was attentive, made a suggestion - a great one - and we had a lovely meal and bottle of wine. I like it!
One of our 3 meals was over cooked and had to be sent back. Food is a little pricey for the area but the view is lovely.. The room was very loud, largely because of a party of 10 who were yelling up & down the table. Service was excellent- very accomodating, attentive and helpful.
The service was good and the food was just awful. Gnocchi clearly packaged, sauce had tin flavor as out of can, definitely not Bolognese more like ground beef and garlic. Fish stew had absolutely no seasoning or flavor, seated tuna appetizer was poor quality tuna with strong smoked aftertaste. Menu leans strongly towards 1980's. Only redeeming quality was the view. Do not waste your money! Food prices were $$ and quality $
