Casimir & Co will transport diners from the streets of Manhattan to a Parisian bistro clad with rustic wood finishing on the walls, an open kitchen with tempting charcuterie hanging in the window, and daily menus listed on chalk boards. The full service bar is located on the street level with a few high-top tables, and the L-shaped dining room is on the second level surrounded by large windows overlooking Lexington Avenue. Dishes will be rooted in simple and traditionally satisfying bistro fare. The seasonal and affordable menu will rotate daily for lunch, dinner and brunch offering diners a new experience every day.Signature items will remain on the menu, such as the house’s signature dish L'Entrecôte Casimir & Co, a grass fed NY Strip served on a wooden board with a "secret" sauce and homemade frites for a bargain $22.
In addition to an outstanding menu, the restaurant also offers a wine and mixology bar on the main floor and outdoor seating for beautiful summers on the patio.

Have been there multiple times and have been happy with it overall but this time rather disappointed. Food was below average, the place was so cold we had to wear our jackets to eat. Bad value for the money. Would not recommend going in the winter months.

I like to be seated upstairs as there is more room and where the best choice of table types include banquette seating for two to four and tables for two along the brick wall or by a large window opposite. It is a well worn place that exudes character and is a neighborhood favorite.

This is at least the 5th or 6th time I have been here and this is the first time I am unhappy.
Only one other time did I sit inside/upstairs - the other times were outdoor/sidewalk seating.
I thought the last time that there was a distinct bleach'y smell in the air, but I chalked it up to maybe they had just washed the floor, unfortunately it was there this time too
The waiter was inept and inexperienced - but very sweet/cute. However, he had no idea what he was doing.
The food was adequate - tuna nicoise - how can you mess that up - a stale hard boiled egg!?
Had to ask for bread - a partial roll came in a basket and had to ask for butter.
I was somewhat embarrassed as I had asked a friend to lunch and it was lackluster and not very good.
There are other equally mediocre restaurants in this neighborhood, but some better ones too.
They are worth walking another block or two, or four!

This place looks tired. Service unsatisfactory with persons we dealt with seemingly challenged in English. I even got a call from manager asking if I was going to honor my reservation. I told him I’d been sitting in the restaurant for ten minutes. I asked him to come to the table and introduce himself. No one came. Food was satisfactory but the experience was third rate.

the food was very good and quite nicely served. The waitress was helpful. The menu offered several good dishes. All in all it was a very pleasant evening and we will return again.

Wonderful find -- delicious French food in a lovely and cozy townhouse setting on the upper east side. One of the best fish entrees I've ever had. Lamb shank also excellent. Last time every much enjoyed the steak.

Will be on our go to list for going out with another couple or just ourselves/family.

Service was pitch perfect.
