This was a birthday dinner for my sister. Our party of four enjoyed our evening at Casbah. We were impressed with the menu selection and everyone got something different. The swordfish was wonderful and the steak was tender and tasty. The other two dinners stated they were also impressed. We were all glad the birthday girl chose Casbah.

We had a very nice time the food was great (a little salty though) especially the rib ravioli.
It turned out to be a very special birthday lunch with friends.

Took my sweetheart for a late Valentine's Day dinner. We had been once before and enjoyed Casbah enough that we decided to return. We were not disappointed. Our waiter was well versed on both the food offerings as well as the wine list. We shared an appetizer, had entrees, and then shared a dessert. We also had a bottle of wine with our dinner. Everything was delicious! It truly made our special night out memorable.

Our server Fiona was friendly and attentive. The flat bread and baba ghanoush were outstanding. White table cloths reflect attention to detail yet this spot is not stuffy. Loved the neighbourhood and overall vibe.

We were here for Valentine's Day and had the tasting menu & wine pairings. Everything was fantastic! The halibut and tuna tartare ranked up with some of the best fish I've ever had. Overall wonderful experience.

Fantastic. Appetizer of calamari and rock shrimp was wonderful as were the main courses of Scottish shrimp and lobster gnocchi. The dessert was chocolate tiramisu and did not disappoint. Our wait staff, Brent, was informative, attentive, engaging and warm—- made the visit to this restaurant extraordinary. Highly recommended.

Valentines Day. I got the tasting menu, but my wife had to pass because the third course was a steak and it was Ash Wednesday. We were surprised they didn’t offer a non-meat option. She ordered off the regular menu. All our food was very tasty. The wine paring complimented my meal very nicely, and the pours were reasonably generous. Service was good. Several minor annoyances kept it from being a stellar dining experience. In no particular order: The downstairs dining room was cool to cold. I had on a light sweater and wished I had worn a heavier one. Too much time passed between courses. Since my meal had four courses and my wife’s only two, the holdup had to have been mine, the tasting menu that I would have expected the kitchen to crank out in reasonably rapid-fire order. And finally, the background music. The volume was a bit too loud and the musical styles pretty wide ranging. A nice relaxing classical guitar piece would be followed by a somewhat jarring alternative work. Rather than enhance the ambiance it felt out of place.
