Casbah promises an exciting, sophisticated gourmet dining experience in an intimate, comfortable atmosphere. On the first floor, the year-round heated patio & Southern European-inspired dining room offer elegant seating in an open, warm space. For more seductive & intimate dining, the lower level, with a glass-enclosed wine room, stone-covered walls & innovative lighting provides the coziest of retreats.
Great food. Wonderful pasta fest. Excellent wine and service. BUT large noisy table of 12-14 next to us. I should have asked to move . Still with a large crowd like this in one place the restaurant should move some of the tables for two a bit farther away and be more aware of the situation. Ruined an excellent dinner
Love Casbah all the time but brunch is a great value.
Loved our brunch at Casbah ... everything was perfect ... food, drink, service ... THANK YOU!
We usually enjoy Big Burrito restaurants, so wanted to try something different from them. Boy are we sorry we did.
We had two vegans in our group, which we noted in the reservation. When we ordered, the waiter said they usually did a veggie pasta, so we both ordered that. When it came, there was no pasta, just veggies. Our waiter never came back to check on us so I just went ahead and ate mine. After about 15 minutes, my husband tracked down a different waiter who got ours and he brought over a plate of pasta. At this point, the veggies were cold and everyone else was done eating. Bear in mind, there was no apology.
We assumed we would be offered free dessert or at least have an entree taken off. Not only did that not happen, but we were both charged $19! I paid $19 for a plate of vegetables.
The food was tasty, but everything else was terrible. The service was painfully slow from start to finish. We won't be back.
We had an absolutely perfect birthday dinner for my husband! The food was amazing and the waitress was the best!
Went for Saturday brunch, food was amazing. The price for the prix fixe was well worth it!
In general I like Casbah but wish their menu would rotate a bit more. The duck and chocolate flourless cake were excellent but I did not like the short ribs at all. Nice ambiance if you are on the patio but otherwise crowded and noisy on a Friday night. Value reasonable.
Disappointing. Always outstanding. Not this time. Food and service average. NOT worth the price this time.
Casbah is consistently wonderful
Awesome! We had a great time.
Wonderful food—sweet corn risotto was fresh and delicious. Partner had filet which was excellent. The noise level in the outdoor area is ideal for our aging ears. Inside would have been too loud for a conversation.
One of our favorite places!
Went to Casbah to celebrate a family members birthday! Excellent choice.
Our server was wonderful and our food was just amazing!
Food outstanding and service great
We dined here for my son's birthday. The downstairs is very inviting for a quiet or romantic dinner. Our food selections were delivered promptly and were tasty for the most part. We shared the cheese plate which was nothing special - I would suggest they add some cornichon pickles, maracana almonds or the like to add interest as the cheese portions are pretty small. I have to say, my fish (Halibut) was pretty tasteless but a good sized portion and cooked properly. The two other entrees were well received and the service was good. The upstairs bar looks inviting but I wouldn't want to be seating in the tent area. Just nothing special going on up there. The only other comment is that the stairway going to the downstairs is pretty narrow and a bit creepy. They have worked hard on the design for the rest of the space, they should have made this part of the design and not an afterthought.
excellent. food was very good. we were not disappointed with any dish.
Served raw pork and told it by the waitress it was cooked properly when I complained. They recooked my pork chop that was cut in two pieces and re-served me a dry cut of meat.
Manager never came to our table to see if everything was alright. This place definitely has good food but we felt like we didn’t get their normal standard of food and service.
Interesting and delicious menu, wonderful covered patio, and always a great experience.
We sat on the enclosed patio which was a very nice setting, felt like you were not in a restaurant. we had a nice table that was not close to other patrons. The waitress was very nice as were the servers. The food was excellent. We had lunch and choose the soup/salad plus 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 pasta. Great value! The tomato bisque soup was excellent. My daughter got a BLT club and it was at least 4-5 inches thick ! the apps were good including the hummus and calamari/rock shrimp. Overall the 5 of us enjoyed the meal and the ambiance. We had reservations for 1 and left at 3. No hurry here! Very nice
Everting was wonderful from start to finish
I have eaten at CASBAH many times, for many years and have always been delighted with my dining experience. This time, however, I was less than pleased. Really did not like our waiter, who had some kind of weird attitude. He was also not very attentive. Afler a LONG wait, we had to ask about our desserts. When brought out, my bread pudding was dried out and nearly burnt. My seafood pasta was vastly overpriced and my friend's entree was unremarkable.
Casbah never disappoints. The food, service and atmosphere are the best.
What an enjoyable experience! We were there for a birthday dinner with several out of town guests. The cheese board, meatballs and calamari were outstanding starters. Pork chops, duck and steak dinners were all mouthwatering. Our server was attentive and paced our dinner very well. It was leisurely and fun. Casbah never disappoints!
Casbah is perfect for a date night or celebration. It’s an upscale farm to table dining experience.
Service and food is always consistently at a high level, which may explain why Casbah has been with us for so many years. The patio is delightful.
Not crowded when we were there so the noise level was not a factor. The food was outstanding for brunch and I felt that it was an excellent value. Delicious rolls in miniature sizes so you could taste them all without guilt. Loved that touch. I highly recommend Casbah for brunch or any meal. I've had many opportunities to enjoy eating there. You can depend on it being consistently outstanding.
Another enjoyable brunch! This place never disappoints!
We had a great evening at the Casbah. Our dinner of lamb shanks, swordfish and halibut was simply delicious. Our server, Jordan, was pleasant, professional and suggested great wine recommendations! Valet parking is so so so convenient!!
Looking forward to our next dinner at this restaurant.
First - the food was very good. Not being a regular we were seated outside, but in an enclosed area on a hot muggy night - not great. Service was spotty. Server mentioned that my wine was coming with the entre. Halfway through eating it I had to wave my arms to get attention and my wine. Servers definitely were trained not to make eye contact. Or management does not hire enough staff on busy nights. Then my brandy was served in a cordial glass, not a sniftner. The service did not match the price paid.
Great server, food tasty and wine was overpriced.
The food and service are consistently great. It's always a good experience.
A favorite. Everything is always fabulous.
Sat outside, service a bit slow, took a while to get our food but enjoyed it when it came. From out of town, but would go back again if ever in area.
Brunch, probably Casbah’ best deal. But Casbah is pricey. We sat in their covered outside section. It got hot by the end.
Best of all restaurants we tried while visiting the area. The filet was unbeatable…so tender and the pairing of the creamed corn, green tomatoes & greens was divine! The pork chop was tender, juicy & full of flavor! Can’t go wrong here! The ice cream across the street at Millie’s completed a perfect night out!
Presentation, ambiance, and service is great. Unfortunately the food is mediocre at an incredibly high price. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday. He ordered the pork chop and I had the gnocci with duck confit. His meal was average. There was literally one small piece of duck meat in my plate. My portion was incredibly small. If I'm going to a fancy restaurant, sure I'll pay more for a smaller portion of food, but only if the food is GOOD. That was not the case here. I was pretty disappointed because I heard good things about this place but it's definitely over hyped.
Go there a few times a year
Always great food and exceptional service
The go to place to take friends and family
Wonderful evening sitting in the outdoor seating. Beet salad was a highlight as was the impeccable service. Wonderful wine selection. I
