The Chef Daniele Dotti, a native of Venice, has created an eclectic menu that brings to the table the flavors, the traditional recipes and the freshness of ingredients so typical of this region. Our Mediterranean Sea Bass is delicious but if you are in the mood for good pasta try our Linguine Mare Nostrum with a variety of sea food and fresh tomato or our special house made fresh pasta Fettucine Casanova. Now you can enjoy all of this right in the middle of the Grand Canal Shoppes, just a few feet away from Italian gondolas.
The atmosphere and the decor are informal and friendly and children are welcome, but at night it can be ideal for a good glass of wine and a romantic dinner.
Excellent food and service
Celebrating my daughters 21st with family - staff was so understanding when our Guest of Honor was delayed - THANK YOU! Our evening turned out GR8
reservation system messed up, waitress messed up 2 meals, service was terribly slow
Slow service, food order was wrong twice, took 20 mins just to get water. Business meal that was embarrassing... wished we had just left. Food was good but overpriced. Will never go there again.
Open table allowed us to get a reservation in the middle of Las Vegas chaos.
We wanted to eat at a nice sit down restaurant inside the Venetian. Before we left where we were staying I did a little research and made reservations at this restaurant. When we got there I immediately knew I made a mistake. It was right along a busy walkway within the Venetian mall. The server sat us down at a small table right next to that busy walkway. I should have asked her to move us but I didn’t want to make a scene. The whole tome we ate I was literally about two feet from hundreds of people strolling through the shops. When we ordered I wanted coke. They only had Pepsi. Not a big deal until he brought out a can of Pepsi and poured it in my glass. About 25 ministers later we finally received our food it tasted fine but the portion sizes were tiny. My wife ordered the Lobster ravioli. I payed $26 for 5 pieces of ravioli. When we left our bill was almost $60 for a can of Pepsi, 5 ravioli and my plate of Gnocchi. We were still hungry so later that night I had to pay for another meal at another restaurant. Please save yourself the time, money and a horrible experience and go somewhere else!
Loved the food, the price point was very good for Vegas!
The food here was absolutely DELICIOUS. We had the saganaki cheese appetizer as well as the carpaccio appetizer. They were both absolutely incredible. The cabernet wine by the glass was also very good. I had the most amazing gnocchi dish with tomato sauce, basil & mozzarella cheese. Simple but out-of-this-world. It is harder than it seems to make a great tomato sauce and this one was unbelievably delicious. Our server was friendly and responsive. The only minor complaint my husband had was the flavor of the water we got. He said it tasted very chlorine-y and he felt that that shouldn't be the case considering how great the food was. He also wished they had not served wrapped butter pats, but rather a higher quality butter with the bread. However, these are very minor issues considering how wonderful everything else was. The prices were also fairly reasonable (for Vegas). Ambiance was fairly loud and not super intimate so if you're looking for a very romantic place, this isn't it. It is inside the Grand Canal Shoppes so has a more casual feel, yet still a nice environment. I would definitely recommend this place and go here again the next time we're in Vegas!
Overpriced food overall was ok not great .
We ordered Kabbab pasta chicken Alfredo
It convenient located service was excellent
We ate lunch there yesterday and were the only ones at the place at noon. Not a god sign. But, the food was good. We had beef carpaccio and it was a small portion but, good. My husband had the bean soup and it didnt agree with him. We had the saganaki and that was good but the crab cake was run of the mill. Nice service but couldn’t get over we were the only ones there.
The food and service were very good. As always, for a restaurant on the strip, the prices were a little high, but not as bad as most strip restaurants
A very pleasant setting. The restaurant is relatively small so booking is probably a good idea at busy times. Food was excellent and the service was friendly and attentive. Will definitely book again. Only slight criticism is the beer works out about the same price as the food but didn't let that spoil our visit.
It was a very pleasant surprise as they were very helpful with a large group of 16 people.
Seating was tight but nice atmosphere. It was crowded and we had to wait despite our reservation. The manager was really nice and seated us in the Tapas bar next door and bought us drinks. Then they gave us a nice table and excellent service at the restaurant.
Lasagna, chicken parmigiana and asparagus were perfect. I wanted to lick the plate!
The food was delicious and a nice variety of selections. Staff is friendly but service was a little slow. Prices are very reasonable too.
Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable.
I tried everyone’s dish and it was delicious. Definitely coming back.
Just a great total experience. Great food and environment
Exceeded our expectations and portions were so generous we had a second dinner at home! Highly recommend this consistently good restaurant!
I was a little skeptical about this place but we ended up loving it!!! I'm vegan and although they didn't have a ton of options, their marinara was outrageously good. We were also celebrating a birthday and they brought us 3 desserts and a special cocktail. We loved the servers and the food, best place I've been to in Vegas, especially on the strip. The themed casino equivalent to a little Italian hole in the wall
Food was wonderful. The service was good-- our waiter took good care of us and our food was delivered VERY quickly. It was a great a spot to eat.
Casanova was the only restaurant at Bellagio that could accommodate 2 people on short notice, and now I know why. While the food was good, the service was as poor as any dining experience I’ve had in quite some time. We were served by 2 or 3 different waiters who didn’t seem to communicate with each other. We asked for extra pita bread to go with our hummus, it never came. We asked for bread (twice) - it came 35 minutes later after we were done with our entrees. Simple water refills were few and far between.
Very nice- lobster ravioli was fantastic!
Food was great and pretty reasonably priced for the location.
Just ok food, the hostess disinterested and bored, we celebrated wedding anniversary, that I indicated while making reservation, no one said a word....
Food was excellent and the service was very good! Would definitely recommend going!
Increíble, delicioso, muy atento y amable el personal, una experiencia inolvidable
The "outside" tables are in the mall with lots of ambient noise. Food is fair. Not as pricey as the upscale restaurants in the Venetian in Vegas. But the food is not up to par. Pastas are OK. Osso bucco was not very good with the meat not tasting like veal over a really poor rice concoction. I would spend a few more bucks and have better food.
Nice place we enjoyed the food. Service team was very good.
The food and service were excellent. Great atmosphere.
Great restaurant in the Venetian that had great food at a reasonable prices. We go there every trip to vegas and love it.
Great Italian seafood. Lobster ravioli was very good.
Just okay. With so many great places to choose from in Vegas skip casanova.
Loved the food and loved the service! Presentation was also lovely!
A small restaurant within the Venetian/Palzzo complex. Perfectly nice Italian food from a short menu. Ambiance is lacking; this is not a white-tablecloth shop. Service reasonably attentive. Watching the tourists walk by is some fun.
This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. My kids and I needed to grab a bite and I wanted more than a "food court" experience, but didn't want the entire luxury sit-down. I found this on OpenTable and tried it out - its sort of "in" the food court at Venetian Canal Shoppes, but its a sit-down restaurant. But what really blew me away was the food! I had the "Lobster Supreme" - lobster tail and other seafood tossed in a linguine pasta which was to die for! Fantastic meal, and plenty of options for the kids as well. We'll be back!
We come back to Vegas on a yearly basis for an annual event. The food and service at Casanova are superb and pricing is less astronomical than other restaurants close by!
Great food and good service. Good for business lunch.
Food was very good but service was lacking attention. Servers were pleasant but did not check back enough for drinks, bread etc.
Food and service were very good!
Excellent service, and very good food. It was an enjoyable experience.
