The Chef Daniele Dotti, a native of Venice, has created an eclectic menu that brings to the table the flavors, the traditional recipes and the freshness of ingredients so typical of this region. Our Mediterranean Sea Bass is delicious but if you are in the mood for good pasta try our Linguine Mare Nostrum with a variety of sea food and fresh tomato or our special house made fresh pasta Fettucine Casanova. Now you can enjoy all of this right in the middle of the Grand Canal Shoppes, just a few feet away from Italian gondolas.
The atmosphere and the decor are informal and friendly and children are welcome, but at night it can be ideal for a good glass of wine and a romantic dinner.
The food was good and the ambience was just fine. The server disappeared for a short while but even that wasnt a big deal. The main gripe was the fruit flies all over the food and the sliding table that was really annoying. Really tough to enjoy a meal with all of that.
It was Valentines Day and we had a 7:30 reservation. We were shoved in a small table between two others. The service was slow and non-attentive. We were not offered bread as the tables to the left and right of us were. The food was good, the loud atmosphere and bad service was not so great.
Was okay food. Overpriced for what you get. Loud environment, bit mostly due to unruly, drunk, tourist.
We were seated immediately however we had to request for our menus and a wine list. It appeared we were forgotten. Food was nothing special.
Great place great ambience great service great food all equaled to an awesome first date
Menu had something for everyone. We were celebrating a wedding and a party of 12, so it was nice that the menu had something for everyone and the staff took great care of us. Perfect place for dinner after the wedding.
Great food. Good service.
We wanted a nice place to dine before our show at the Venetian theater. Casanova was convenient so we chose to make reservations. Delicious! The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Next visit to Vegas we will be returning to Casanova.
Despite having a reservation it took almost 45 months minutes to seat us. The lasagna we ordered had decent flavor but the noodles had turned to mush. Terrible texture.
Waiter was not attentive and took forever to get our food. When it arrived it was no longer hot.
Food was ok, nothing great.
Ordered a belvedere martini, got belvedere on the rocks then they charged $3 for a martini.
This was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had! The service was nonexistent! The food was mediocre to poor! Don’t eat here!
Advertised as Greek it was essentially Italian. Only 1 greek dish on menu and it was the strangest version of Saganaki I have ever had. Will not go back. Group of 5 wither reservation and then we were RUSHED because another reservation apparently came in.
I wouldn’t call the noise level energetic. It was just plain LOUD! Even at the tables inside. The salads were expensive, and they didn’t have a less expensive dinner salad to go with the meals.
All 4 of us were not impressed by the quality of the food.
While the waiter who served us was hospitable however the manager talked to us in an arrogant manner and made us feel unwelcome.
We had a bad experience with the waiter over a very dreadful second bottle of wine which was undrinkable. It was also our wedding day, ruined our wedding meal! The food was good though.
They provided a special birthday surprise out of request and it really made the day!
Pleasant and attentive staff eager to serve and proud of the product. Reasonably priced
The Mahi Mahi entree was great, but the steak was so tough and full of hard fat. I would not recommend the stray ever!
Food was fine but located inside the Venetian food court. Prices were high considering the location.
Excelente opcion para comer con menos ruido, muy rico el menu.
Waited for ages to be served despite having a reservation. Food was moderately expensive but the value was not there. Food quality was mediocre (they don't make their own pasta and sauces were bland). They will ask if you want parmesan on your dish but don't bother - it looks to have come out of a green shaker can.
The restaurant was so loud I couldn’t hear the conversation. We ordered 3 pasta dishes and 2 salads - it took an hour to get our food. I will not be returning.
Food was fine, VERY noisy and too crowded. Service was good, but dropped off swiftly after entree. Waited 25 mins before flagging down our waiter to ask where the dessert was.
Food was excellent!
Very nice visit. Good food, nice staff....5 star would be over the top...
I recommend this restaurant if you want a casual lunch on the go, but not if you want a formal sit down dinner. It’s located in such a busy spot and it is quite noisy.
Good food at reasonable prices. Pleasant and efficient servers.
We were celebrating our anniversary and they provided a delicious dessert.
Several very large groups of diners made it noisy.
Really good food. Table was kinda cramped in the corner otherwise the food and service was good.
This was a resort restaurant that tried but missed. For the price you should have better food. The wait staff was okay, menu was fair, High price did not meet the expectations
Won’t be going back.
Two colleagues and I went here after a day-long conference. The cocktails we ordered pre-dinner were all perfectly made and delicious. The bread basket was welcome for hungry tummies, but was nothing special. However, the cioppino and smoked salmon pasta with vodka sauce were heavenly. Topped off with gelato and cannoli we had a memorable meal. My only complaint was the aggressive violinist who interrupted our conversation by poking the scroll of his instrument directly in my face and then doing the same thing to each of my colleagues for a total of 15-minutes of unwanted serenading. While his music was lovely, we were not receptive at the time and felt obligated to tip three times for each song.
Great food and a really nice atmosphere. A hidden gem. Worth checking out for a nice romantic dinner.
Horrible chef. Food was inexcusably bland and uninspired, even for a low end tourist venue. Lots of unhappy looking diners.
The manager was accomadating he sat us a a very nice booth. The server was wonderful. More old world service. He was very knowledgeable and extremely professional. It is refreshing to have this kind of service. He did not wish to be our friend. He just wished to give great service. The food was extent and prepared well. The entrees came hot and well presented. The restaurant had a strolling violinist that came to our table and plaid our song. It was our 45th wedding anniversary. I give this restaurant a thumbs up. Thank you to the manager and staff for making this memorable.
Too noisy off the mall crowd.
My family had a wonderful time at Casanova’s. The food was delectable. My mom enjoyed the Lamb Chops Scottaditto. My daughter enjoyed the Ricotta and Smoked Salmon Flat bread. My sister enjoyed the Fettuccine Casanova. And I enjoyed a dish with sea bass, shrimp, scallops, calamari , mussels, clams in a tomato sauce.
Wonderful experience from the service to the food. Lasagna was amazing and service was great! Would definitely recommend and will visit again.
The servers could have been more attentive. The food was good but for the price to me it did not equate to what we expected. Also more variety with beverages. My party doesn't drink alcohol so we wanted sweet tea. However the restaurant didn't offer sweet tea and this was a complete let down. Because even though packaged sugars were available because the tea was already ice cold the sugar did not mix in well. We just expected a better experience. We also wanted to sit inside of the restaurant verses the noisy patio. The hostess would not allow us to sit in the inside, which was very puzzling to me. So we were forced to sit on the patio open area and were cold the entire time.
Everything was fantastic from the greeting to the goodbye.
