This intimate, small trattoria has the spirit and the charm you would find on Italy and other countries off the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.

The Chef Daniele Dotti, a native of Venice, has created an eclectic menu that brings to the table the flavors, the traditional recipes and the freshness of ingredients so typical of this region. Our Mediterranean Sea Bass is delicious but if you are in the mood for good pasta try our Linguine Mare Nostrum with a variety of sea food and fresh tomato or our special house made fresh pasta Fettucine Casanova. Now you can enjoy all of this right in the middle of the Grand Canal Shoppes, just a few feet away from Italian gondolas.

The atmosphere and the decor are informal and friendly and children are welcome, but at night it can be ideal for a good glass of wine and a romantic dinner.

The food was above average and the service was very good. Our waiter was attentive and friendly, he made us feel relax. Do not plan to have wine at this restaurant because it is very expensive relative to the price of their food. I was there for early dinner an no one was having wine. I had a glass of wine that was more expensive than my entree, and it was their cheap wine. I guess the very late dinner crowd do not mind paying the price. It is a real shame because their good food and some wine would make it a great experience.

Reasonably priced for a Vegas Casino. Service was truly top notch. Food was all good - nothing spectacular. Overall a good value.

Our group grew from 12 to 18 on a very busy night and the restaurant worked magic to accommodate us. The food was great - not easy for a large group - as was the service. A great evening.

This is an OK restaurant at the Venetian. Nothing special in the food, with all the choices in Las Vegas you can certainly do better than this place at its prices. Service was however very nice.

Service was very good, so is the wine selection. The food we ordered was good but not great. Nice atmosphere but certain areas outside can be a bit noisy due to the people walking by and other shops.

The food was good but the service was terrible. We had a large party with separate tabs. They never asked if we were splitting them up but got extremely irritated when they brought us the bill on one tab and we asked to have it split. I had to go through the receipt myself and mark who had what so that everyone could pay for their own food. I would NOT recommend his place for groups. It’s also extremely hard to find. Nobody within the Venetian knew where the restaurant was.

What a delightful surprise! Since we were seeing a show on Valentine's Day, My expectations were low. The food was very very good. We have enjoyed over 50 versions of clalmari appetizers in town, but this was remarkable. It was prepared perfectly and the ingredients were a combination of both round and tentacle calamari, 3 large shrimp, melt in you ur mouth artichoke hearts and asparagus. Plus Bothmarinara and aioli sauces. The hose special Casanova pasta was a superb blend of ingredients. House chianti Laura was a generous pour.
Background music a little loud and it would have been nice to have ethnic or Sinatra era music for ambience. If this was a the kitchen on a busy night, it is a good bet anytime.

This restaurant is nestled amongst one of the many eating establishments at the Venetian. Food was served hot and was flavorful. We sat out front as this is a great place to people watch. I would recommend this restaurant for a quick dinner before a show.

Great customer dinner at Casanova. We had a party of 16 and they were able to easily accommodate us. The restaurant was a little loud, but other than that, everything was perfect. I had the sea bass (branzino), and it was one of the best I've ever had. The wine list was a little thin - mostly Italian (Chianti, Barolo, etc.). Service was great and prices are reasonable for a big Vegas evening.

Scheduled customer lunch meeting during overcrowded CES show, but staff showed patience with everyone's different arrival times and pre-order conversations before handling all 8 of us with professional and precise service amidst the chaos and then let us be. Meeting was successful and lunch was quite enjoyable. Nice job under different circumstances, folks! 'Tis much appreciated.

This restaurant has really good food and service at good prices; however, because it's located close to the food court and is open to all foot traffic, you get a lot of traffic noise from people passing by. The noise keeps this restaurant from being intimate so you can enjoy the good food and company.

I️ was so disappointed with our experience. The food was just OK but the service was terrible. It was a busy night but everything was so poorly run that we asked for our bill before the dinner was even complete. Way too many options in Las Vegas to return.

We reserved a table for New Year' Eve dinner, menu options were delicious and really good based on price, they can improve to maintain wines at service temperature, then customers don't need to wait until it is cooled. Service was really good it was remarkable that the beef was perfectly cooked.

It was a good place for a family dinner. I had a 50 percent off on entrees so that made it an excellent deal. Everyone liked their meal except the one person who ordered steak. It was smothered in a steak sauce which is usually done when the cut of meat isn't the greatest. I think they should at least ask or put on the side. I had the Osso Bucco which was very nice and another in the party really liked her chicken dish. All in all, it's a good place.

Gluten free tomato caprice very good lot of buffalo mozzarella - ask for extra balsamic glaze as it was very light. Gluten free penne pasta w Bolognese sauce good but pasta was overcooked - GF pasta needs to be aldente to avoid breaking apart. Service excellent and waiter very nice.

Husband (not GF) had lobster ravioli said very good.

Good Italian food. Casual dining in the Venetian Hotel. For Vegas it is reasonably priced but this is not fine dining. Small and noisy as tables are close together. Service was good.

First they had no bread for the table and ordered an appetizer and never received it. Took over an hour to get meal. Server only stopped by oncebesides taking order and bringing check. This was all on Christmas Day and they weren't even that busy. Would not recommend or go back!

The eggplant moussaka is soooo very good here. I always look forward to my vegetarian specialty when visiting Las Vegas. I mentioned to four staff how important my visit was too me and not one, none, of the waiters picked up on my conversation... truly left me feeling discounted. Fortunately the food will bring me back again.

It was very comforting to be received this morning at this restaurant with a friendly face and excellent service after a bad terrible dinner experience at Venetian Bouchon.

The host was superb, the service was great and the food was excellent, definitely will go back and highly recommend to all for Breakfast, Lunch or dinner. Perfect location for people watching and get the feel of open market seating.

The location is in a very busy area of the Venetian so there was a lot of activity. Our seating was satisfactory and away from the crowd. The service was excellent. The staff was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The food was quite good as was the pinot noir by the glass. We were quite happy with all aspects of the restaurant, dinner and the staff. I would certainly recommend the restaurant for many reasons.

We went to the website for Casanova Restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea and were directed to either phoning or using Open Table. We made a reservation using Open Table but when we arrived we found the restaurant was closed from Dec. 19 thru Dec. 26, 2017 (not mentioned on their website nor their answering machine! Late we discovered that Open Table had somehow made our reservation at a Casanova restaurant in Las Vegas (I had not double checked the confirmation information, just the fact that we had a confirmation). We will not use Open Table for reservation in the future without following up with a phone call to confirm.
This caused us to try and find a good restaurant late in the evening in Carmel-by-the-Sea, not a easy task especially on Friday night before Christmas with a the tourist and guests in town.
Most disappointing - especially having no notice of this closure from either the restaurant nor Open Table.

Although this restaurant opens to the shops at the Venetian hotel, it is tucked into a quiet corner which provides for a bit of privacy. Our party consisted of two vegetarians and one carnivore. All of our appetizers, entrees and deserts were excellent. The cut of meat for my main (Veal Ossobuco Milanese) was excellent and the pricing of everything was very reasonable, especially considering the location. The service was attentive and very friendly. We couldn't have been happier with the experience.

They were kind enough to give me a last minute reservation for a party of 8, they didn’t tell me it would be a fold up table outside of the restaurant, it was very cramped. Food was just okay, too much sauce, fish over cooked, not very hot, etc. Service was slow and often times in accurate.

We had dinner there and sat "outside" (within the enclosed Venetian Shopping Area). The food was good, the service quick and friendly and the pricing reasonable. They had the Football game on the TV. Food portions were above average and we took some home in a box. Overall a good experience.
