Casablanca Fish Market:
The success of 2 Cuban American brothers led to the 1994 opening of one of Miami’s landmarks with the creation of Casablanca Seafood Bar and Grill on the Miami River. The fish market has the same charm on the Miami River that it had on Watson Island from all its fresh fish laid out on the colorful displays to the smiles on the associates faces when you walk through the door. Come visit our piece of heaven, seafood heaven that is, where we bring in the freshest catch directly from our boats into our fish market.

After a small wait at the bar we had a table by the waterfront, the views are good .
I ordered some lobsters and a friend a grilled fish . The lobster had absolutely no taste and was chewy , the fish was dry and no taste as well . The service was friendly but I was very desapointed on the food

It was great restaurant with great food and excellent service. We sat outside on a very windy evening, so it was a little too cool for us. But, overall we we very pleased.

Wonderful fish restaurant, even better if you can seat at the river. Fresh food, not too dressy.

Unfortunately with reservations still had to wait 20 minutes. The calamari was not crispy, more soggy... The scallops were undercooked , the scampi did not taste like it had any garlic....
Not very impressed with the food. The outdoor dining was attractive and had views of the
boats passing by, but food was mediocre .

This is a great place for lunch or dinner. Right on the Miami river with a nice view and very good seafood with a Latin flair. Service is great, wines are reasonably priced and the crowd is fun. Some great boat watching too.

Highly recommend the hog snapper whole fried and the yellowtail grilled. We had a great time and hope to come back because we didn’t have room for dessert, but they looked amazing!

Food was not good on this visit. My husband ordered shrimp & lobster pasta which he couldn't eat. The padys was overcooked & there were minimal shrimp. He ended up just having a lobster bisque which was good. My paella was mediocre.

We were celebrating a birthday and by the time they cleared off our dirty plates no one wanted dessert. It was the only negative part of the experience. The waiter was so nice otherwise. It saddened me because it was my 81 year old mom’s Birthday.

The food is good and the setting is outstanding. There are always boats moving up and down the river as well as parking alongside the dock to come to the restaurant for lunch.

It’s unfortunate that a place that has such great food & service at the bar could not honor a reservation. We made reservations anticipating it would be a full Saturday night crowd. When we got three we were told it would be a few minutes as all tables were full. After an hour of waiting we inquired when our table would be ready. We were told it would still be a while because they were sitting people on the waiting list. In what situation does it make sense to sit people with no reservations before those with a reservation. One of the hostess; whose name unfortunately we did not get, was basically ignoring us after the second time we went to complain. We were finally able to get a spot at the bar, on our own & ate there wish was fine thanks to the bar staff who treated us very well. The hostess walked by us several times & did not acknowledge us once. Not even to say she had not forgotten us. How did she know we were sitting at the bar still waiting & just having a drink or an appetizer??? We usually don’t complain but we asked for the manager & let her know what happened. She was very understanding & promised to speak to the hostess in question. Don’t think we’ll go back, at least not on a Saturday night. We did get a free dessert; which was nice but didn’t change the aggravation of being ignored.

We booked last minute for Valentine’s Day. I made a mistake and we showed up 25 minutes early - the hostess seated us quickly without fuss and they put us at an outside table. It was beautiful on the water, our hostess was lovely and the food was incredible. I recommend the grouper! We spent over two hours dining, talking and enjoying the ambiance. Oh, and the key lime pie is a must. Both my husband and I agreed we need to make our trip to Miami an annual thing and we need to come back here!

My dinner was snapper, shrimp, calamari and octopus and I told the waiter that I didn’t get any octopus and she said she will let the kitchen know but then a few minutes later the manager came and I told him that the food was great but that I was missing the octopus and he said that they were little pieces so I said but I didn’t get any, he said the same thing that he will let the kitchen know, I don’t care weather they were little pieces or big I just didn’t get any and nobody care or didn’t do anything about it! This seafood plate was $35 and they still charge me $35 , it was my husband’s bday, they spoil our night, not even an apology!

THIS IS ALWAYS BEEN ONE OF MY GO TO PLACES FOR SEAFOOD AND DINNER WITH A VENDOR OR CUSTOMER. THIS TIME AROUND I FOUND THE FOOD WAS NOT UP TO PAR LIKE THEY HAVE DONE IN THE PASS.

I LIKE A GOOD PAELLA AND IN THE PASS THEY WOULD MAKE ON THE SPOT BUT IT SEEM THAT THIS TIME AROUND IT WAS SETTING COOKED ALREADY. PAELLA IS BEST WHEN IS SERVED HOT AND WITH A LOT OF SAUCE (A LA CHORERRA) BUT IT WAS DRY AND VERY SALTY.

LIKE I SAID THIS IS ONE OF MY GO TO PLACES AND THE ONE TIME THAT IT WAS NOT SO GOOD, HAS NOT TURNED ME OFF TO IT.

I WILL AGAIN EVERYONE CAN ALWAYS HAVE AN OFF DAY !!!

As usual every time we spend some days in Miami we have a night at Casablanca
Usually the weather is better and is nice to stay in the veranda looking at the marina
This time was cold and even if the waitress was nice the had the heaters broken!
For the rest everything was good as usual...
Oysters at half a price, whole fried and grilled fish....good location, good dining
More attention to the details could make this great instead of good.
