Casa Rustica Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
My experience at Casa Rustica was all-around excellent. The food was pricey, but well worth it. I got the seafood with cheese purses and both the scallops and shrimp were cooked to perfection with a blend of flavors that truly treated my taste buds. My girlfriend got the chicken Marsala, which was also delightful. The service was incredible... some of the best in Boone in my opinion. Overall, my girlfriend and I decided that this was one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve had together. Keep up the good work.
This was a night out for my wife and I to celebrate Valentines Day. Everything from arrival to departure was very well done. Even with the fully booked evening, things were well organized and smooth running. The service was excellent and nothing requested was a problem. Food arrived in a timely manner and everything was very well prepared and tasty.
My only recommendation would be for the bartender to learn how to properly prepare a very dry vodka martini with olives. That doesn’t mean add olive juice to the Cocktail!
We went there for Valentine’s Day and we had our one year old daughter they were amazing and very accommodating and no one seemed to mind having a one year talking and playing. They staff was very kind and made sure we were taking care of and our daughter was too you don’t get that very often at fancy restaurants. Will go back again
I usually enjoy this restaurant. The meal (lasagna) was fair. My husbands lasagna was burnt on bottom and our meatballs were burnt and over cooked. Also was a bit put out they charge to split a meal. My past experiences have been good so maybe kitchen had an off night. Will give them another opportunity
Our server Katie was awesome! The food was delicious. The only thing I could even find to mention could be better was not having a cost to upgrade for different sauce, but loved that you got a soup or salad with your meal. Spaghetti with meat sauce was delicious!
We are locals and have been several times. Appeared to be a lot of tourists dining there making the restaurant busier than usual. Service was slower than we've ever experienced (almost 15 minutes before she initially came by the table, long waits for beverage/bread refills, etc.). Food was great as usual except for frozen butter! All staff are friendly and accommodating.
We live locally, and eat here at least once a month. We made reservations for two, a week in advance. They placed us at a table beside the kiosk the servers used. My wife sat on a booth seat as I sat on what can be described as outdoor patio chair. Staff and restaraunt patrons constantly bumped the table thru out our meal, squeezing by our table. Our server was good, food was good. But a disappointing experinevce for New Years Eve , as this is where we chose to make reservations. It will be a while before we return.
I love love love casa Rustica !
But I do wish you’d get some good tonic
For our vodka tonic drinks.
We Like Seagrams the best . I believe someone had to run to the store tonight . But they turned out good- just took too long.

Fabulous . Thank you for caring about your customers .
Went to dinner on a Tuesday, reservations were perfect and was allowed to change location of table to be near fireplace.
Waitress was excellent, very attentive to our needs and was knowledgeable about food and specials on menu.
The four of us had no complaints at all except for being out of one of the bottles of wine we had wanted, waitress made a good recommendation and all was good.
The food was excellent, we ordered from the menu and some of the specials, again, very pleased with everything.
One request, you had a seafood based soup that we would live to see again for either a special or on the menu permanently.
We have eaten Italian all over the country. We are foodies. The sauce for the seafood Fra Diavolo was not tasty. My Chicken Francese was just ok. The chicken was cooked well, but the sauce was not as flavorful as I’d anticipated. My daughter does not eat carbs and asked for spinach As a substitute. There was no spinach!!! I was disappointed and will not spend 200.00 there again.
This is a must if you are in Boone, NC. The food was excellent I had the salmon it was wonderful and the tomato caprese is excellent. Tyler was our server he was friendly and very attentive.
Just be sure to make reservations they do not open until 5PM so glad I got the chance to visit while on vacation.
