Casa Orinda has been serving the finest Western and Italian food in the area for the past 84 years. We are famous for our fried chicken, prime beef, and classic Italian pasta, chicken, and veal dishes -- everything being made from scratch in our kitchen using only the freshest, highest quality ingredients.

Our full service mahogany bar is a popular stop for locals and visitors looking for a nice refreshment and a hearty meal in a cozy, friendly atmosphere. We have three dining rooms, each with a slightly different character afforded by our hand-formed brass hearth fireplace, Western original art collection, famous antique gun collection, and alluring floral arrangements.

This is the best in the East Bay for traditional food and service. They are always helpful - especially the bartender Rocco! He is the man! He is a local celebrity and everyone enjoys sitting at the bar and being entertained. The Capon Dijon is amazing and the Roast Beef is spectacular.

Revisiting this restaurant where my parents took us many years ago. Food and art work were excellent. Disappointed in the table and chairs, no table linens , no linens at the bar when eating there. Glass ware and china needs updating .Condiments served in little plastic cups, It's just a nice restaurant that could be even nicer. So glad it was still there.

Been enjoying Casa for years. The Bay Shrimp cocktail is by far the most generous portion I’ve ever experienced. Delicious. The rack of lamb, a special, was perfect. Very dependable place. Always gorgeous flower arrangements.

Casa Orinda is a gem. Always great food, great service and an ambiance born of not just history but people who genuinely care about every aspect of the restaurant experience.

We had a wonderful dinner
The family enjoyed the fried chicken and I the sweetbreads. The portions are large and we took desert to go. The bar and wine menu is extensive. Can't wait to go back

Normally, this is a great restaurant but something was off on Valentine's Day. Their signature dish, the fried chicken, was totally lacking in flavor. It was as if the chicken hadn't be seasoned. The fries were good, but the vegetables, though cooked, had no seasoning as well. A little butter or lemon on them would have been appreciated. I haven't given up on the restaurant. The meals have been good except for this last time. I just hope it was an off night.

My husband and I love this restaurant. They have valet parking which is very convenient. The dining experience at Casa Orinda is outstanding. The hostesses, servers, bartenders, and the delicious food have us coming back time after time.

Always enjoy an evening here. We like to sit in the lounge or at the bar. The staff makes every effort to accommodate our request. The fried chicken is truly outstanding (& a signature) but almost everything on the menu is done with care, great ingredients, & love.

Great fried chicken! The service is always excellent and although it's a bit a time warp, it's never not a complete hoot to dine at Casa Orinda. Definitely coming back!

We arrived on time and were seated promptly.
Our service though good,was slow.
They were very very busy,as we expected but it was an hour before our dinner arrived.
A bit slow in the kitchen maybe.
However,the food is always great.
And the ambiance unmatched.

We’ve wanted to try Casa Orinda for awhile; they didn’t disappoint. From the friendly valet recent St Mary’s grad, the hostess welcome upon entering the restaurant, the charming, knowledgeable Erica who delivered THE BEST service, along with quiet Edwardo noticing our every need - the dining experience was wonderful. Oh, and the food - cooked to perfection. We’ll definitely return soon.
