Casa's Famous Fried Chicken
Mashed potatoes, gravy, biscuit, and honey
Pan-fried breast, tomato herb sauce, cheese. Served with linguine and meat sauce
Beautiful and delicious old school restaurant. It was crowded and the waitstaff was pushing hard, but everything was near perfect. Beef pricing was too high ($52) but other dishes were well priced.
I hadn’t been to Casa Orinda in years so wasn’t sure what to expect this time. What a pleasant surprise! Food was delicious - I got the braised short ribs over polenta and my guest got the chicken parmigiana. Service was terrific and the restaurant was bustling with patrons. Now that I’ve been reminded how wonderful this restaurant is, I’ll definitely go back soon.
As usual, the fried chicken at Casa Orinda was excellent. Our waiter was spread thin but he was always there when we needed or wanted him. It was nice to see them busy. So glad they weathered the pandemic.
Excellent food & service!!!
Dinner with four guests. All different entrees, all equally outstanding. Service was excellent. We were rushed for time and the server made sure we were accommodated and made it out in plenty of time. Looking forward to returning when not rushed to REALLY enjoy the restaurant.
Cozy environment with great comfort food!
We always have a nice meal at Casa Orinda! Our waiter who has served us before is kind and excellent about checking back on any needs we have! Food is always delicious and the portions are nice and large- enough to have to bring home for another meal!! Love this “time warp” known as Casa Orinda!
Great service tonight. Food was excellent. Fried Chicken, Sole Almondine. Chicken wings, Caesar salad.
Classic Italian in an incongruous Wild West setting. Lots of older people eat here, which makes sense, because the menu is right out of the 1950s, the 1950s done right. The room with the fireplace is best.
Always the best and most consistent high quality comfort food in San Francisco's East Bay. Wonderful.
Love Casa. Old school vibe, great bar (albeit, bartender Cynthia is the only one that does not shake bourbon), delicious entrées which include specials which are changed often. My only complaint is that they have drastically raised prices – probably to compensate for covid closure. But it can be pricey for a family.
Wonderful old fashioned place with outstanding prime rib and large menu. Food is excellent.
It was great to be back at Casa Orinda!! Food, service, everything was fantastic!
Have happily relied on the Casa for years for relaxed atmosphere and excellent fried chicken. Service as always was lovely and professional, and the martinis well mixed. Thank you, C.O.
Perfect evening felt safe from the moment we entered when our Covid vaccination was confirmed. Service excellent and as usual every course was delicious. The special fried chicken was awesome as was the rack of lamb. The special BLT wedge salad was great
Nice bday dessert with a candle.
The Casa Orinda is one of our favorite casual places to eat. Great Italian food, good service, comfortable, iconic place. Valet parking included
Great customer service and great food it was just a bit to noisy for me other than that a great experience.
Loved it. Great food and wonderful service. A real gem.
Asked for private table on open table but hostess was going to seat us near bar- too noisy..so then took us to private type room- much better. I thought they would have reserved a private table already as I noted it was our anniversary. Glad we ended up where we did. Nice and quiet. Friendly waitress and server. Great food! Very generous with the prime rib cut, which we had to take home !
the best Buffalo wings ever superb Famous Fried chicken, cheese burger and Prime rib

I was in town and back at the Casa after a long time away...Great food, fantastic service...always good

Hard not to order the prime rib instead.
Reminds me of the places my parents took me to when I was young.

Great service, great food, and fun atmosphere. Minestrone soup is to die for.
Was awesome good
Our dinner and server were outstanding. We really enjoyed our dining experience.
The real only problem was THEY didn't my reservation for 6pm last night from OpenTable, of course blaming OpenTable is easier than blaming a software problem on their end. Great dinner Great Service but should have bread pudding on their dessert list with ALL those other decadent desserts right??? Ended walking to Loard's to get a scoop of ice cream, near by...valet parking was excellent as well...
Great date night!
Always a crowdnlleas
Great customer service. Customer service was wonderful atmosphere was Was wonderful.
Had a great time with friends for a Saturday night out. Food was delicious and so were the cocktails. Serve awesome. Thank you.
The Casa is solid… steady… reliable… it hasn’t disappointed once in the many decades I’ve been enjoying it. A definite “go to” choice!
Great food and great service
Excellent food and service!
Go with the daily fresh salads and desserts. Any veal dish
A great traditional old time restaurant. Table was ready as reserved. Menu rarely changes. I like the giant slice of ham and eggs. I saw a lot of Fried Chicken and Prime Rib.
The Fireplace room is the place to be.
filet mignon - mmmm good!
