Our full service mahogany bar is a popular stop for locals and visitors looking for a nice refreshment and a hearty meal in a cozy, friendly atmosphere. We have three dining rooms, each with a slightly different character afforded by our hand-formed brass hearth fireplace, Western original art collection, famous antique gun collection, and alluring floral arrangements.
Rock Solid. The Casa has been one of our favorites for decades!
Great food with excellent waiters. Great place to meet friends and catch up
always outstanding - prime rib is wonderful - pace of service was perfect
A truly unsatisfying experience. Server was rushed and made us feel like she was doing us a favor. Food was sent back due to being lukewarm and unable to cut through the prime rib. Second piece was just as inedible. Would not recommend this restaurant, as it is relying on its old time presence in the community.
Recommended by a friend. Very pleased!
I had their famous fried chicken, it was like it suffered through a 3 alarm fire and lost. Very unhappy, only the first time we went was the chicken really good,, twice now I have had the worst over cooked fried chicken, more like chicken jerky. We will probably go again but not order the chicken, my husband was ok with his dinner
Old School, my sisters & I meet 4 times a year for birthdays, just sisters and we always pick Casa. Easy valet parking, good blue cheese dressing, specials always have a fish entree and my sisters chicken cutlet. Good cocktails. The blueberry pie was tasty
We love coming to the Casa for a down home meal. Meaning yummy plentiful food -usually an Big Italian dish or their famous fried chicken. Friendly service and good drinks.
We love Casa Orinda! Everything about this place is perfect. This is one of our favorite places. Excellent food, ambience, hostesses, wait staff and valet parking. Love the cowboy decor and artwork. It’s got a great old timey vibe.
Long standing favorite for well prepared home style food. The fried chicken is the best there is!
Best restaurant in town with excellent waitstaff, bartender and hostesses!
We have been going to Casa Orinda for many years and the food and service has always been consistantly very good. The Decor is very unique, a western theme, and has been the same for decades. This is one of the oldest continually operated reseraunts in Contra Costa county. Which speaks well for its food and service. Their fried chicken is one of the best we have ever had and the veal dishes are also outstanding.
Great as usual. Patti the waitress is so hard working and friendly.
Same old wonderful Casa we have known for all these years. We appreciate one of our favorite eating establishments.
Our first experience with Casa Orinda was a pleasant surprise. Service was friendly and helpful. Drinks were good and the food very satisfying. It was a ways to drive but we’ll be back. We had a full meal the next day with the leftovers. Very nice. Very loud but also fun. Complimentary valet parking.
I've been very satisfied every time I bring a friend or family to dine at Casa Orinda. The food is simply delicious. Last Friday was my first time to order the Prime Rib which was perfectly prepared. There's not much one can do of the noise level. The place gets packed, people come in groups. I can overlook it once I start eating the food:)
We love this place. I crave the fried chicken. And the service is second to none
Service was very good, staff had too many tables for one person though. She did the best she could though. Chairs were terrible, just not comfortable. Good was great though.
Three ladies’ get together. Dinner was fine although my “creamed spinach” seemed to be floating in oil. Everything else was fine. Service was great. Noise T the bar was a bit loud. I would recommend it and would return.
Loved everything . Food great, service great. No complaints.
They were very acommodating and we had a very pleasant dinner
Food hoid as always. Victor is an outstanding waiter!
We appreciate your great review. We also think Victor is a great asset to the Casa!
We started with cocktails, they were fixed great. Then the meal was ordered, we started with the zucchini, eggplant and onion ring appetizer. It just disappeared so quickly, very tasty. I ordered the fried chicken and it really was the bomb. My husband had the salmon special with a caesar salad, our friends had the ravioli and top sirloin. We all enjoyed our meals. Then to top it off, the lemon cream pie was excellent.
So happy we met all of your expectations. Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. We look forward to your next visit.
Great food at reasonable prices, service good. Only downer was that the table next to us was extremely loud.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. We hope to see you soon.
Great food and great service. Look forward to coming back. Enjoyed the Fried chicken!
We also look forward to your next visit! Thank you for the great review.
WE'VE BEEN GOING TO CASA ORINDA FOR YEARS AND NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED, ITS OUR GO TO SPOT FOR SURE !!!!!
Thank you for your on going patronage, we value you as a customer and hope to see you soon!
Love casa can’t wait to be back.
Great food and service, it was a little nosy but it was Father's Day and Golf was on the TV. The food never disappoints. Also they have a great wine list!.
Appreciate the great review. So happy we continue to meet your expectations, thank you! See you soon!
Noisy and busy but it was Father’s Day. Food was great. Service was good.
Casa Orinda is a throw back in time( in a good way) in terms of decor and food and ambience. We love the dark, Western/cowboy decor. Yes its kinda goofy but very authentic. It does lend itself more to winter season but with 90 degree temps outside we loved the cool dark interior. There is long bar and the bartender actually talks with you! Very extensive menu choices and they are willing to cater to most tastes but we go for one reason, the fried chicken; its crispy and generous portions! Best seating is in main dining room. I wouldn't sit anywhere else. Love the corner table w/ booth. It was Fathers Day and the service terrific. Our wait person catered to all our needs and was very friendly. I'm sure CASA is considered Kitsch by millenials but we always have a great time w/ good dependable delicious food.
Yes, we are definitely a throw back in time! We are so glad you choose to spend your special day at the Casa. Thank you for the great review, see you soon!
Always love it here. Can't beat the prime rib or chicken and the caesar and brussel sprouts also excellent.
Service as always was excellent. Traditional America dishes done well.
Always a pleasure to dine here, noise level is tough but otherwise a great evening.
This is a go to place for a solid meal - from Rocco at the bar to the long time wait staff, you feel like home. Then the food - always some seasonal items in the menu in addition to the traditional “comfort food” to the fried chicken stand by that 1/2 the guests enjoy.
Have been coming here for 40+ yrs - can’t say enough good things about a great east bay meal.
Fabulous food and great cocktails. Great old fashions and the fried chicken is a must try! Make sure to make a reservation ahead of time because it’s super busy for dinner. Home made biscuits and gravy, best ever!
Thanks for taking the time to submit a review, we welcome your feed back. Cheers!
Steak sandwich was a large blob of fat! About 90% fat 10% meat.
A great neighborhood restaurant that serves comfort food. Best bar in orinda.
Casa Orinda is our go to restaurant for special occasions. The fried chicken is wonderful.
Food was delicious. Ambiance was quaint, western motif, in keeping with everything.
