About Casa Mia
Casa Mia is the authentic Italian Cuisine experience. Our family moved to the U.S. in 1993 from Sorrento, Italy (a province of Naples). We came straight to Scottsdale so none of our palates were altered from the flavors they were familiar with. Casa Mia means "my home", and just like at home our food is made to meet our standards of taste. All of our ingredients are of the finest quality, from home made pastas, organic produce, and now organic grass fed beef. Our wine list features only Italian wines, and is always a work in progress as we are always searching for new surprising flavors!

Casa Mia Ratings and Reviews
Definitely one of the better Italian restaurants in Scottsdale we’ve found so far. One of the 4 main dishes arrived to the table lukewarm (the others had visible steam coming from them!👍) but once they were told, quickly removed it and returned with a piping hot dish. The homemade pasta was delicious and we appreciated that none of the dishes were over-salted. Service was excellent!
Always exceptional cuisine...interesting and delicious! Service is excellent. We dine there often and bring/recommend to friends. Staff always greets promptly and seems to remember us with wonderful smiles and special accommodations for our special needs. A family owned business which reflects the love and caring of everyone who works there !
We have been avid return customers for over ten years enjoying special occasions with their outstanding service and cuisine. It however has sadly come to an end. Both service and food have fallen to an unacceptable level for this price point. All good things ultimately come to an end and we will move on.
Everytime we dine at Casa Mia we feel like coming home to family. the food is fresh, taste great and authentic. the menu changes with the season, so there is something else to try every time. Wine is great, atmosphere amazing ! we love, love ,love it- from casual dinners to birthdays and anniversaries.
One appetizer was sent back as it was rubbery calamari. My wife and I both had the tortellini; it was mushy and pretty bland. This is the second time we tried this place in 18 years and will not be trying it again. Way pricey for quality. Not Northern Italy by a long stretch.
Note: We were served by the owner & a male server.
Disappointing experience. We ordered a $130 bottle of wine, year 2007, they tried to slide a 2011 under our nose without even mentioning it, what is worse is that we discussed with the owner about which of the two wines we should get and she suggested the 2007. Then when we noticed, they gave some long winded excuse about their supplier & the menu not being updated etc... When we asked for a decanter we were told that the glasses we were drinking out of were decanter glasses. Why argue about bringing a decanter, especially after bringing us a newer wine?
I ordered gnocci: Asiago, smoked mozzarella, parmigiano & swiss cheese. I got gnocci covered in tomato sauce. I pointed it out to the server/owner & she said you want it with cheese? I said, that was the one I ordered, (the only gnocci on the menu). So I sat & waited for my meal to come out while my friends were already halfway into theirs.
When we got the bill, we mentioned that we shouldn't be charged full price for the wine & we got an argument. We asked to speak with the owner & were told she left 10 mins earlier, so the next day my friend got a call from the owner who was argumentative even going so far as to say that we didn't have a reservation. Somehow giving my name was enough for her to lead me to a table for 3 & to bring 3 menus when I arrived alone. I reserved on OpenTable, hence the reason I can do this review. I was asked if it was a special occasion & I mentioned birthday. The table next to us had a candle & desert come out & we got nothing, not even an apology for the over charge, or the dinner mix up. We didn't care so much that the bday wasn't celebrated but why ask? It was just another fail on their part. I think any restaurant after bringing a 2011 wine but charging us the price listed for a 2007 & then bringing the completely wrong meal & leaving me to eat it alone, would have done something nice for us. They were rude throughout. :(
