About Casa Mia
Casa Mia is the authentic Italian Cuisine experience. Our family moved to the U.S. in 1993 from Sorrento, Italy (a province of Naples). We came straight to Scottsdale so none of our palates were altered from the flavors they were familiar with. Casa Mia means "my home", and just like at home our food is made to meet our standards of taste. All of our ingredients are of the finest quality, from home made pastas, organic produce, and now organic grass fed beef. Our wine list features only Italian wines, and is always a work in progress as we are always searching for new surprising flavors!

Casa Mia Ratings and Reviews
Casa Mia's is one of those places that is great all around. Great food, great atmosphere, great service, great vibe, great people and the list goes on. Their food is the purest and highest quality and prepared the same. Very authentic and a neighborhood gem. Next door is CM2 Pizzeria and Bake Shop owned also by the Sondano Family and is just as amazing!
We all enjoyed our evening at Casa Mia. Our server was great, came around but not to the point of being annoying. The water glasses we refilled in timely manner. We felt the entree's were very good but on the pricey side, tho you do pay for the nice ambiance. A very nice experience all in all.
This is a hidden gem. We are from NY and have not found very many excellent Italian restaurants. This is one of if not the best we have been too. We went to Italy in early June and had some amazing food and wine. I particularly fell in love with Veal Pizzaiola in Italy and they make it here. It was on par with the dish I had in Milan. We will definitely be coming back here many times over.
The staff is very attentive without being intrusive. The food is very good and the specials are always interesting. Get the Chilean Sea Bass when they have it. The bar service is excellent and the wine list is comprehensive. Overall one of our favorite spots.
Hidden gem tucked into a remote strip mall in far East Scottsdale. We find the food to be delicious, the service attentive, and the hand crafted cocktails divine. Our latest visit was consistent with past experiences at Casa Mia. We have favorites on the menu, but we are always drawn to the specials. This time exquisite crab and shrimp risotto and fresh gazpacho....delicious!
Not a welcoming experience. Ordered the Sea Bass fish special because server explained the dish as "simple pan seared". It was not seared as much as poached in oil. When I shared my feedback that it was very rich, the server responded "everyone loves the Sea Bass! This is how Mediterranean food is prepared!" The chef then came out to berate me and I had to ask him to leave the table. There was no offer to remake the dish nor any compensation to the $175 bill. I told the server that I work for a luxury hotel and manage the concierge staff and we won't be recommending his restaurant. His response was "We'll survive"
We were told to go here for great pasta and we were not disappointed. I thought they had spaghetti carbonara on the menu but it was not there ,so I asked for it and they made it for me. Wonderful! Canoli and cafe Americana for a finish. Canoli was perfect-not sweet.
Oh my gosh, Casa Mia is neighborhood treasure in 85259. This family owned, authentic Italian place is cozy, always dependable and delicious. Hera and Nantas, sister and brother welcome you with warm smiles, kisses and hugs. We always take friends from out of town, go over for romantic date night or just a quick glass of wine at the bar. The menu changes with the seasons with yummy appetizers, fresh home made pasta dishes and soups, delicious seafood, roasted meat, and decadent desserts. We are big foodies and are never disappointed. Next door they just opened a hip pizza place too.. the crust, sauce and toppings are delicious. We ride our bikes there with all our kids when we want a casual night out.
One of my favorite Italian restaurants anywhere I have traveled! I take most out of town guest and clients to this Scottsdale gem. Its a very authentic dinning experience where the staff makes you feel that you can relax and take your time with the food and those you are eating with.
Food is made in house and wine list pairs well with the menu selection. Prices are on the higher end compared to other neighborhood Italian restaurants but the premium is for the quality of the ingredients and in house handmade approach...Its worth it, life is too short to eat cheap low quality Italian!
Excellent food and service. The lamb chops and homade sausage with soft polenta were excellent. They are however pushing the edge of pricing for a neighborhood restaurant with entries approaching $40 and $12 salads. We'll definitely go back but will keep an eye out for further price increases (although the place is always packed so it just may be our sense of value).
The staff at Casa Mia delivers authentic Italian cuisine with highlights of sophisticated Southern Italian fare, combined with excellent service. Try the pasta with mullet roe. It is authentic and delicious. the veal dishes were superb. we had the Saltimboca.
We have eaten there several times and have found it quite good . But the last time we came with guests we were very unhappy. Having told them how good the food was, the meals of three
out of the four were terrible. I had trout which was not well seasoned . Our guests had chicken that was overcooked dry and tasteless .Very embarassing.
Had risotto with marscapone lemon and salmon. The salmon was terribly overdone and the risotto had no hint of lemon or marscapone. Others at table had gnocchi with guey cheese. Just not the level of taste I would have expected from a restaurant with 5 stars.
