Outstanding local restaurant for authentic Italian cuisine. The homemade pasta is perfectly cooked and each ingredient is fresh and well prepared. The owner makes the trip a special treat!
I would say this was just an ok meal. Probably would not go back.
I have enjoyed dinner here several times over the years. All the food is delicious. A great family owned and operated Italian gem.
The food & service is always incredible. Had the sweet potato & spinach soup and it was amazing!
AS ALWAYS, OUR DINING EXPERIENCE WAS WONDERFUL. THE PASTA WITH SHRIMP, CHICKEN MRSALA, AND THE FISH WITH KALE WERE ALL ENJOYED. THE CEASAR SALADS, THAT WE SPLIT, WERE DEFINATELY LARGE ENOUGH FOR TWO.
WE ALWAYS ENJOY SEEING HARRAH WHEN WE ENTER. SHE'S ALWAYS WARM AND JOYOUS AND MAKES US FEEL LIKE FAMILY. lUCCA, OUR SERVER, IS A GEM. HE HAS ALWAYS MADE US FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE. HIS RECOMENDATIONS ARE ALWAYS FABULOUS!
This restaurant is a neighborhood gem we just discovered, and it’s amazing! You’ll be cheating yourself if you don’t check it.
The food is very well done, with a variety of options in each category. Having Celiac Disease, I always felt that the kitchen and servers were careful to ensure that I had a gluten free meal. But this last visit was a disaster. I was severely gluten and was sick for 24 hours after the meal. I believe they may have cooked the gf pasta in the same water that was used to cook the regular pasta or the Caesar’s salad that I ordered without croutons actually had croutons in them that were then picked out, leaving behind crumbs that couldn’t be seen. I was so disappointed as this is my go-to place for safe eating.
Exceptional Italian menu and food preparation. I think the restaurant could use more help...but they suggested the wait was due to how much effort was devoted to preparation. That may be true but I ordered Spaghetti. However, the quality of the food was very much worth the wait.
I consider this neighborhood restaurant (and perhaps a well kept secret too) a real find for those that love good food!!
Everything was good - as is our usual experience here. Great wine list, great specials, and service/warmth of this neighborhood gem is unsurpassed.
A great dinner with family celebrating a Birthday. Everything and everyone was wonder full.
Casa Mia is our go to resturant for authentic Itailian cuisine. The family run resturant is friendly and charming. The wine list is excellent, no matter what your mood! Besides it’s normal menu, you will always find some superb specials.
We always enjoy coming here for the great Italian food. Authentic and homemade are their speciality and the is always top-notch. It can be loud as it is a smaller location, but we've always had a great experience. Sometimes they have homemade Limoncello but ask in advance so that you aren't disappointed at the end of the meal. We had a wonderful family birthday dinner there last month and everyone loved their meal.
Outstanding real italian food, not american italian food.
DONT look for Veal Parm here.
Nice vibe...a little noisy.
Seafood risotto very good.
Good Pizza next door, same owner.
Casa Mia never disappoints. Even if they make a mistake (rarely) they recover and resolve it immediately. We love going there and have enjoyed every meal. Food is authentic and wonderful. Service is excellent.
This restaurant is truly a neighborhood gem. The food is delicious, the service is outstanding and the ambience is charming. What's not to love?
Usually very good
Milanese was burned & very bland
Meal not memorable
With all of the great choices in Scottsdale, it may be a while before we go back to Casa Mia. The experience was good, not memorable. The people were nice and friendly. The service was good, not great. The food was good. I took the extra burrata from the appetizer and put it on my Mista Salad - Delizioso!
We had such a lovely evening on Saturday at Casa Mia. Wonderful service with not an eye blinked in accommodating a couple of special requests. The soup was superb and they let us buy a container of it to take home. Usially I enjoy a pasta dodh for entre but tried the lamb chops and they were out of this world! Highly recommend.
As always, everything was terrific at Casa Mia. It felt like 6 friends were having great, homemade Italian food with my family.
Thanks so much to all the Sodano's and staff for never letting us down.
See you again soon ... the Gregory's and friends
Went for a Friday night dinner with my family, the hostess who seated us, was also our waitress. She finally came to our table after 15min., and we asked her if she was our waitress, she replied yes, that’s it, a simple yes. Her vibe was extremely arrogant, like we were doing her a favor for dining at her restaurant. This restaurant is in my neighborhood and charges way too much for the food, service and vibe they produce. Do yourself a favor, don’t waste your hard earned money on this family, they don’t deserve it.
4 golfers from Chicago make Casa Mia an annual event. Initially shocked to find such an authentic Italian restaurant tucked away in the middle of nowhere. This year things went downhill, maybe a new chef who knows but won’t go back. Service has always been brisk rather than warm but food made up for it. Calamari tough as old tires and veal scalloping almost as bad. Waitress disappeared mid meal and argumentative young man held forth on his Canolli (excellent) expertise. Food no longer trumps service why go back?
Service was impeccable. Food was authentic. Even the bread was wonderful. Good wine selections.
Our server was too busy to adequately serve us. She was very nice but too many tables! Waters weren’t refilled. We had to hunt her down for a second drink. We sat for almost a half an hour til our order was taken The noise level was off the chart for conversation. Way too loud.
Good food, good service. Noise level LOUD. Tables very close together in AZ & CA style --unfortunately.
Authentic home made Italian cuisine. Excellent choices including vegetarian options.
Excellent dining. Salad was fresh and one of the best ever. Our pasta, sausage and broccoli, was top rate also. Very accommodating to split our dish into two servings. Best meal of our Phoenix vacation.
We live in the neighborhood and have always heard that Casa Mia's prices were much too high. So when we had guests in over the weekend, we decided to give it a try. NOTHING could have been further than the truth about prices. We had a party of seven (7) and the service was just great, the food was wonderful (Our server made some great recommendations) and the food was hot! It will be a regular stop for us in the future. Our guests found it to be outstanding.
Food was very well prepared and tasty. Service was quite attentive. Will definitely go back.
It’s our neighborhood favorite!
This was our first time coming here after multiple recommendations from friends. The ambience was great I enjoyed the vibe we got when we walked in, food was wonderful little bit pricey however average for the area. My only complaint was the service. The restaurant that evening was very full and busy and I think that may have played a part in it. Other than that I would definitely recommend this place and will be going back to try it again.
Just okay. My grip is that it was expensive for what is actually served. I ordered Lobster Ravioli which was listed as a special, and while the dish tasted good, I could not notice any discernible piece of lobster in the ravioli. I know there had to be some in there, but it must have been finely minced and in limited quantity. I have had plenty of Lobster ravioli in my day and know the difference. Otherwise the taste was good and qty of Ravioli in the dish was good. No side came with this dish and if I recall it was priced in the high 20's - 28$ is what I think. After adding a side vegetable or a salad you are spending more for this meal. I do not mind paying the price because Lobster is expensive, but I expect more Lobster than what was delivered to the table. Sorry for negative feedback. We need this restaurant in the area to continue to prosper and I want to see it do well.
Awesome food and great neighborhood restaurant.
Tuvimos un problema con un cliente que se porto Rufo con mi señora
We are frequent visitors to Casa Mia. I have tried almost everything on the menu and you can’t go wrong. The pollo al prosciutto is to die for. The owners are a family and I have always found them pleasant and engaging.
We’ve been customers for about five years, starting with their cozy location up the street. The crew is always friendly and the matridi never fails to remember our preferred beverages or favorite entrees. We reserve this restaurant for our special occasions but sometimes like to just drop in when it’s not busy. Always make reservations for festive occasions, like Valentine’s Day, or prepare to go elsewhere. Five stars across the board.
Always consistent! Always great food! Always great lemon drop martini ‘s!
We were there for Valentine’s dinner, typical great food, service and value!
Outstanding Italian restaurant in Scottsdale which we visit every time we travel to Arizona.
