Casa Ludovico - Palm Harbor, FL
We go for every special 9ccassi9b. This time we just went with friends.
Very good food
We love this place...especially all the exotic cars in parking lot...Kim is great!!
Always amazing. Juan and Clelia, Rick so great!
Outstanding as always!
Love this restaurant! The food was really good, the service the ambience, all good. Would certainly go back again
Local gem. Fine NY style Italian food.
What a great experience. We have been coming here for close to 14 years - have never been disappointed. Love a restaurant where you are not rushed. Our server Kim was a 12 on a 10 scale. Evening exceeded our expectations.
Casa Ludovico was recommended to me and I was delighted to find this wonderful restaurant.
Had a great 19th anniversary dinner. The food was delicious and is now my new favorite Italian restaurant. Our waiter was attentive and very friendly. A great choice!
SO FIREEEE. Nothing else to say about as authentic as you can get without going to Italy
Kim is an excellent server whom we have known for some time. We usually go on Sunday night which is much quieter.
Food is wonderful!!’
Would recommend Pollo Ludovico!’
The Casa Ludovico is a renovated house turned into an Italian restaurant. The place was cozy but loud. The food was wonderful. We both had the Short Rib Special of the day and it was the best I had ever had. Service was very good considering the fact that the restaurant was very crowded. Will try again another day of the week as Sat. seems to be a busy on for them.
Totally gone downhill. Hostess is clueless and unfriendly. Owner shows up in crummy blue jeans and doesn’t care about what’s going on in his restaurant - just sits outside and smokes. Bartender is slow and doesn’t serve drinks together.
Salad had no taste. Bruschetta is on a narrow thick bread with cheese so you can’t pile the tomato on the bread. Had to eat the tomatoes with a fork so defeated the bruschetta concept.
EXTREMELY noisy. Since no one can hear, everyone shouts. Better to just sit quietly and not bother trying to have a conversation. They need some acoustical panels to reduce the overwhelming noise.
Sitting upstairs is awful. Worst tables up there. Most of them you’re either sitting on the aisle or staring at the dirty dishes in the server station.
Service can be hot or cold. Been there about 6 times in 2 years. Won’t be going back.
Dine here often. We waited over 30 min for someone to come to our table this time....many people just walked right by us without asking us anything.
Love it everytime. Thank you Chad you are always awesome.
Birthday. Great time.
very very good food and staff fantastic would go back again and again
The Halibut was very fresh, flown in from Alaska, and perfectly cooked. Attentive service and great lentil soup and salads.
Moms birthday, great meal and even better service. These guys are in their game, attention to detail comes naturally to them.
Each thing offered is very good and the brandy cream sauce on the chicken is wonderful!
Best meal we had in Florida
Lovely restaurant with delicious and authentic Italian food and ambiance.
Had a reservation for 7PM arrived at 655PM no table available. The party that arrived just in front of us were seated immediately. We were told maybe a 45 min wait and I think that was optimistic as it seems most tables had only been sat with the last 30 mins. I had been telling my clients how good this restaurant was so it was very embarrassing to find that after I had made a reservation it seemed that our table was given away. The bar was full and we were not confident that we would get sat in the next hour so we went to another restaurant in the area.
The only person who was apologetic was the Valet the rest were defensive. They need to either honor reservations or change to first come.
it was the best italian restaurant in the tampa bay area. food was authentic italiano
Excellent dining experience, as usual. Located in a charming home built in 1902. On the corner of Alt. 19 and Delaware in Old Palm Harbor. Free valet parking. Has nice wrap-around porch for those that like outdoor seating. Also has an upstairs room for meetings and parties. (I've never been up there, as I can't climb stairs, but I frequently see people heading up there for gatherings.) My friend and I went on Tuesday night at 5:30. Plenty of tables available until about 6 pm. Then it got busy. We had reservations- just in case! Bar was busy while we were there, but it was Happy Hour.
This place has the very BEST Tiramisu!!!! Large enough for 2, in my opinion. A must order!! I had the Penne Alla Norcina which is Penne pasta with crumbled spicy Italian sausages, a touch of cream aged Parmesan and a splash of white truffle oil. This is a large portion, so I always bring 1/2 home for the next day. My friend had the Margherita Flatbread (tomato, mozzarella, and basil. She also started with Caprese (Sliced tomatoes and homemade Mozzarella with fresh basil, topped with olive oil.). We finished with the fabulous Tiramisu. We both had some nice wines. All in all a very delicious meal. Service was wonderful. I'd recommend reservations- even on a weeknight.
Open Tuesday through Saturday, 5pm to 10pm
Sundays from 5pm to 9pm
Happy Hour Everyday 5pm to 7pm
The filet with wine reduction is awesome as is the black pasta and clam sauce. Never had a bad experience. My number one choice.
The food was absolutely scrumptious and we rated all food over a 10!! The wine was poured deeply and nicely and we will be back again and again!!
Eat at this restaurant for ALL special occasions. Best Italian Cuisine in the area. Great service and great wine selection.
First time dining here. Had a marvelous waitress named Kim that way over and above in service. Writing down different wines, suggesting and describing items and cooking process. Had best veal parm I have tasted. Wife had a wonderful grouper with clams entree. Overall, one of the top ten meals and service i have had.
It was our Anniversary dinner and we looked at menus from several local restaurants and we picked Casa Ludovico. Had been there twice before but many, many years ago. Walked in and the place was freezing. They did turn turn the temp up as we sat there. Out table was ready. Had a great appetizer and caesar salad. I asked the waiter about two meals I was trying to decide to order and he couldn't really give me any comments, just repeated what was on the menu. I picked the black pasta dish with crab meat and clams in a garlic sauce. It came so steaming hot that I couldn't even eat it for a while. The pasta was about two portions too much and the crab and clams was skimpy. The pasta was also chewy, I had never ordered black pasta before and will probably never order again.
Great restaurant for special occasion or just a good authentic Italian meal. The food was good, plentiful and hot. The service was excellent. The restaurant can be a little noisy due to the type of building but that also adds to th charm.
My wife and I had our wedding dinner here 11 years ago. We come back every year on our anniversary. This time was the best so far. Every detail was just as we would have had it. I recommend being seated upstairs where the room is more cozy and quiet.
Very nice restaurant with authentic Italian food, great wine selection, very good atmosphere. the service was very good.
Our server Kim was outstanding. She made a fantastic wine recommendation. The food, as always, was superb!
Fantastic, creative menu with something for everyone. Service is impeccable and the ambiance is very relaxing, esoecially got couples.
It was an overall great experience and great food and drinks!
While an intimate restaurant, I didn’t think the food was more than average. It’s a bit noisy and the service was average.
Excellent service, food and ambiance. Only disappointment was that they did not have the first four bottles of wine we ordered.
