Love this restaurant .
the outdoor space is so elegant and safe. The staff is soooo
professional and warm.
Our favorite place in New York City.
Antonio and the rest of the crew could not have been more hospitable. Made for the perfect romantic night out.
Just a fabulous dining experience.
Ever part of it is perfect
Our favorite restaurant in New York without a doubt
George is great
Excelente servicio comida inigualable y lugar encantador
Amazing dinner with friends. Everything was outstanding.
Definitely coming back again.
Of all of the group this was the worse service by far for that price
The turbot was excellent. The Sicilian white wine recommended by a knowledgeable female wine expert.
Our waiter was not on top of service for our table. I had to point out the need to refill water and wine glasses. Once should have been sufficient, however I had to flag him down for refills. This really is not acceptable service when you charge $76.00 for your fish special. And we had three! I don’t know where the disconnect came from. I asked about a wine, he admitted he didn’t know about wine and said he would get someone who did. We sat for almost 10 minutes with no service. When a lovely woman arrived to advise she was knowledgeable and helpful.
It’s tough to think of returning because of the mediocre service from our waiter. As I said, I don’t know where we lost him, but obviously we did.
It’s a very fine restaurant- very good food, good, warm service. A quality experience
Always an excellent experience. Amazing food. Exceptional hospitality.
Great food and ambiance
Best Italian in Midtown.
Really good food, really good restaurant . Good outdoor dining if it's not too cold out.
It’s a great place. Service is impeccable. Hostess are really efficient. Food it’s amazing. Is one of best Cacio e Pepe in town. The ambiance it’s so elegant and nice. Wine list very good. This time we try the anchovies with bread and butter, very good. All pastas. But the best , the real turbot, is one of the place they have it. Perfect size. We love this restaurant.
My memories of past diners were great. So, it is with anticipation that I returned to this old favorite of mine. Alas, from a cold to inexistent welcome, the great Andy Warhol painting replaced by low class commercial art that would not even sell on Ebay, to a tasty Vitello Tonnato where the sauce was dominating a microscopic amount of veal, nothing was preparing me for the disaster of the Pasta Carbonara. A grey sauce made mostly of flour, without any hint of bacon or guanciale, utterly tastless and even repulsive made me thing that this dish was the worst I ever had in an restaurant. Maybe they should hire a chef, and this is the nicest thing I could tell. Very sad letdown for what was once a happy and refined restaurant.
Brisk attentive service and helpful advice about dish options. Excellent cuisine, for ever course.
Everything was magnificent... as always
The meal was delicious! the room is larger but inviting and beautiful. The staff is professional and very helpful.
An almost perfect dining experience. The food and service is impeccable, the staff are polite and attentive without being over bearing. We had dinner to celebrate our second wedding anniversary and we were made to feel special.
This remains one of our favorite dining experiences in New York.
I gave it a review of outstanding. What else is there to say?? Anything to add is just gilding the lily!!
The entire staff was wonderful to us through out our time at Casa Lever. The room looked fantastic, our booth was great and the food incredible.
Fantastic - the special Black Sea Bass was cooked to perfection!
Classic yet chic and that’s not an easy balance. Bravi!
The most brilliant execution of Italian business anywhere.
Hands down the best Italian food and service in NYC
We are Italian from Modena, so we are picky when it comes to Italian food. With that in mind, we thought everything we tried was very good, authentic, northern Italian cuisine.
The wait staff were all very friendly.
We will certainly be back.
Excellent and, as always, restrained but attentive service ensuring an ambience of comfort and pleasure.
Everything is always great
Super food reasonable pricing nice servers. Favorite place for lunch and breakfast too
overall excellent. only concern was main dish was served cool instead of warm-hot.
same great service and food. Very safe setup for COVID.
It may be due to COVID, butI feel it's expensive a bit.
Great Resturant with some of the best food NY has to offer. Started with the octopus in warm red tomato sauce, very flavorful. Wife does not care for octopus but she loved it as well. She had prosciutto and homemade mozzarella which was great. Main courses of pasta carbonara with homemade pasta excellent she had spaghettis with tomatoes and garlic. She is Italian and said the garlic had been shaved so thin you could see through it and then pan roasted before being added to the sauce. Sauce was made of peeled sweet tomatoes which she loved. Desserts were great. We had all three but the Hazelnut Cake was the best. it was an 11 and the tiramisu and raspberry tart were a 10+ each. All homemade. We had a booth inside which was lovely. Huge 2 story dining room. They even had a coat check girl which was a nice touch. We will definitely return soon. Make a reservation and ask for a booth. There are only a few of them but very nice, other tables are great too but if you can get a booth it is nice.
