Amazing, best restaurant in nyc.
Excellent wine, food and service as usual
Casa Lever was just ok. The service was fine, but impersonal. I let them know ahead of time that we were celebrating a birthday and there was no acknowledgment. The food was average. One of us finished our meal. The other two did not because we really didn’t love it. They didn’t do anything specifically wrong. I just wouldn’t rush back.
Great atmosphere excellent service tasty food
Casa Lever is a cool looking restaurant with great modern decor and Warhol portraits covering the walls. Loved the vibe of this place on a Friday night. Good looking crowd. The drinks are good and strong. They start you off delicious bread choices. We had sunflower and foccacio. You can tell a restaurant by its bread and it was great. The food is fresh vibrant and nice size portions. The service was great. I will definitely be back.
Portions were great. Definitely a stop for restaurant week. Be sure to do the wine pairing.
Service was impeccable. Food was delicious. Drinks were spot on.
Came for restaurant week. Food was delicious. Service was excellent.
Service was amazing & food was great
Everything was great but the meatballs were tasteless and disappointing
Great food and great atmosphere. The only off thing was that the music was very loud.
Based in the recent Winter RW menu and several previous dining experiences here, the food and service were fine but the noise level made conversation impossible.
Went for restaurant week. Food was delicious.
Portions are very small!
Very nice place with excellent service, definitely enjoy the atmospheae there, starter are very good, but pasta can be better.
Beautiful room, wonderful food; service was a little rushed at the beginning of the meal, but server was overall friendly and helpful.
Come if you want to see an interior design time capsule from the 60’s
The food is nothing short of awful
Excellent food, terrific art, and impeccable service.
New home for daughter & son in law celebration
Delicious food and ambiance!
Everything was great!!
The room is amazing—like being in a 1960s Fellini film. The food is lovely and the wine pairings are outstanding. Can’t wait to return for the octopus primo and the monkfish preparation. Fantastic Negroni!
Two of my friends and I had dinner at Casa Lever during the NYC restaurant week. After a number of disappointing meals I have had during this semi-annual event, my expectations were not very high. I couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised. The food choices and it’s quality were wonderful, none of the microwave rewarmed gummy, chewy food. Our waitress couldn’t have been more inviting, accommodating and informative. An all around very pleasant experience. This is what going out to dinner should feel like. I will definately be going back.
service outstanding , food excellent , atmosphere condusive to fine dining experience , we did not have theatre tickets , but would be great for pre theatre . We had restaurant week special but I have had business lunch before , consistant experience.
Always very consistent which is difficult to find in NY. Service , food and ambience are a superb.
Some restaurants use Restaurant Week to showcase their menu, and then there are others. Casa Lever uses the occasion to haul in customers to eat pasta. No secondi on their RW dinner menu were actual meat courses, they were primi pretending to be secondi. Stick to lunch in the bar.
The food exceeded expectations. Wine selection was awesome as well. Great experience.
Pretty mediocre food. My pasta was unremarkable but a friend's steak was inedible and we had to send it back. (How can an established restaurant not know how to do steak????)
Lovely pictures on the walls..but that really doesn't make up for the shoddy food.
They offer their restaurant week menu every weekend year-round, nd it's a steal. Excellent food reflecting notable efforts to make every dish special for one or more reasons.
We loved Casa Lever - it is in a beautiful, classic yet modern space with delicious food, very good wines, and attentive but not intrusive service- a real gem!
Among everything else that is so nice, their fresh take on tiramisu is heavenly. It would be very hard not to love Casa Lever.
Lovely Restaurant Week experience. We added the wine pairing which was very fairly priced and excellently chosen. One of us had the veal meatballs which were too bready for our taste. Our female server was consummately classy. The décor shows its age!
Not over impressed with the food. Felt they were churning out dishes for restaurant week. This is a great way to experience restaurants and where one would like to return and keep that venue on their rotation. We just weren’t terribly impressed with the food.
The food was spot on. The service was top notch. The ambiance reminded us of classic NY.
Amazing. Great food. Amazing service.
Good food and good service.
Was Fabulous as always, and even with the time constraints for the theater it was a memorable repast to say the least!
Fantastic spot. Delicious food, attentive but not overbearing service.
Very attentive staff from the bartenders to the servers and help staff. Restaurant week menu was beyond expectations and portions were well balanced and satisfying. Highly recommend it and will definitely be back !
Always a great evening here and one of the most unique venues in Manhattan
Amazing and professional service. The wait staff and management make you feel like you are a welcomed guest in their home. We had the Tuna, Hamachi, chicken and the Dorado special. The Gianduia dessert was excellent!
Love the stylish 70’s decor and Andy Warhol art on the walls. We sat at the side booth -great ambiance.
Take advantage of the “weekend supper” and get a three course meal for a bit more than an entree costs.
