From the moment you enter Casa Juancho, you feel as though you are in Spain. The authentic brick, red tiles, fabrics and pottery from Spain create a warm hospitable atmosphere to enjoy some of Spain"s finest cuisine.
As the hot spot for Miami's business leaders, the nightly lines are a testament to the popularity of Casa Juancho.
We've been coming here for over 25 years as the primary Spanish restaurant from Miami. This time around as we've noticed over the last couple of years it is not what it used to be especially for paella for 4 people it was probably the worst paella we've ever had there; It wasn't bad but it definitely wasn't at their standards of a true paella Valenciana. Too much tomato not enough C food flavoring, the rice came out almost white rather than yellow.
The other plates were nice but expensive but is what you expect ..the other major negative point was the upholstery on the chairs were disgusting, needs to be dry cleaned asap.
There are so many other Spanish restaurant options nowadays I would hope this classic place picks up its quality level fast.
Amazing is all I can say!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As always excellent food and service. Dinner with live Spanish Trio singers that comes to the table !!!!
Great Spanish food in a great setting.
Excellent Service and Food.
Excellent paella, I would say the best in the city.
Amazing experience and food!! A for sure a must visit when in Miami!!
Outstanding service, unbelievable Paella. The live music was a nice touch to our Spanish food experience
Have been frequent customer for years. This time I found a very commercial place instead of a good spanish restaurant. Too crowded, who cares for a reservation. Waiter too busy and little friendly. Food regular in preparation and presentation, nothing special or close to a good spanish meal. The singers passing the hat even without singing. In summary, I miss the old Casa Juancho, it has been lost.
La mejor paella que he probado y se encuentra en Miami. Todo súper recomendable.
Delicious food and excellent service. Its a very pretty place well decorated with a Spanish warmth touch.
Excellent as always.
Excellent and delicious paella. Including grilled fish for appetizers.
The ambiance was great!! Food was delicious & every time we come here the service & food are spot on.
In it's day, this was THE place in Miami, now it's more of a tourist location and a spot for the old guard. Their paella is still some of the best in town, but the rest of the food is just ok. Service is attentive enough. The are much better place in Miami but there are many worse, so if your looking for the ambiance of a Spanish tavern itd good, otherwise money is better spent elsewhere.
Always a good choice .
Very good. Love the food!
My experience at casa Juancho is always the best, I can’t complain.
Father’s Day celebration was excellent at Casa Juancho.
One of the best father’s day celebrations!!!!
Food is incredible. Calamari was incredibly tender. The peppers stuffed with Codfish mousse was exceptional and the table-side steak tartar is the best I’ve had.
I have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years. It is sad how it has gone down in ambiance and service. My service was greet this last time but that’s no longer the norm. Hostess is usually rude and service is slow. They also let kids run around and yell plus so many adults with just no class. Food is always great thank goodness. I hope it goes back to what it once was. If not, they should lower the prices. No longer fine dining.
This was our first time at Casa Juancho and all 8 people in my party had a wonderful time. My parents lived in Spain for a year, so we visited Casa Juancho as part of their quest to find authentic Spanish food in south Florida. All of the food at Casa Juancho is authentically Spanish and extremely well made. We ordered soup, salad, octopus, paella, the dover sole, rabbit, and dessert. Everything was delicious and cooked well. The service was also very good and the wait staff was very attentive to our needs. One of the best parts of our meal was the Spanish musicians that travel throughout the restaurant playing music for tables that request it. The musicians travel from Spain to work at Casa Juancho for several months at a time. My father requested all of his favorite classic Spanish songs, and the three musicians were able to play all of them for him. We had a wonderful family time at Casa Juancho and would certainly return again.
It was our wedding anniversary. Went 3 years ago and loved it so, we came back. Outstanding service and ambience.
Took almost 1 hour to receive the food. We literally had to make signs in order for the waiter to recognize we needed something. For the price i payed i would have thought the vallet was included but not even a sign stating we needed to pay the valet cash. I honestly expected more from this place and paella was alright had better.
My wife and i love Spanish food and this is very authentic
The food is good, but the service is really slow and generally below average.
The service was average. The food was below average. The minstrels are was what saved the evening. Overall, not a memorable experience.
Making the reservation was so complicated theres a very un accommodative host, I had to call around
8 times to get a table for 10; nothing out of the ordinary. They are open until 12:00 but they were rushing up the dinner order so thats misleading; we were celebrating two birthdays and they brought two flan to the table with candles, cute, but then they charge us for it. We did not ordered those items; Im not looking free stuff but if you are bringing something to the table that Im not ordering, it shouldn’t be on you? If I was paying I would have ordered a dessert that I actually like. Anyhow, this place because has memories for me and the food its very good. I had a good time by overseeing all that it bother me, if you are not willing to do that. Think it twice. Food is worth it.
Went for my old man’s birthday. Traditional and wonderful Spanish food. Prices are steep, but quality backs it up. Fantastic paella
Great Spanish Food One Of The Best Spanish Restaurant In Miami
Entirely too loud and busy. Barely saw my waiter and had to beg for wine/water. The best paella anywhere in the US though!!
Slow night and the service was slow. My fish was overdone. Still love this wonderful place!
I needed to talk with the manager that to change my waiter. Very slow and nasty!
If you want the taste of Little Havana, Case Juancho delivers.
Overall service was horrible. From the hostess forgetting to call on us when our table was ready thus delaying our wait a extra 25 minutes with an overall wait time for a table of over an hour and 20 minutes and this with a reservation to the wait staff being completely impersonal, at times rude and not providing any real type of service. We had to ask for water, bread , pretty much everything. This could had been a great experience but sadly it was one of the worst. Never again.
Best paella in town, gambas al ajillo and chistorras are amaizing
In a locale known for Latin American fare, this is a true Taste of Spain. The menu includes traditional jam on Serrano and Iberico, aged Manchego cheeses, and all the requisite fare. Their paella’s are cooked to order and, while taking over 45 minutes, are excellent and genuine. They have one of the most complete lists of Spanish wines in the area, and their dessert menu is excellent. Added to this is the group of players and singers that rotate around the tables singing Spanish songs. A great experience for anyone. Que Viva España!!!
