Wanted their specialty “ Paella “. $72 for two ?
The quality of the rice was not the best
Seafood specially clams were minuscule and
Only a couple were used.
Ordered the ham croquettes and they were small
For the price that I was charged.
Totally overrated. I used to enjoy coming here.
Disappointed is an understatement. Had not been there in years. Definitely not as good as I remember. They were out of 3 of the appetizers we asked about. We finally ordered the "Manchego Viejo" and "Jamon Serrano". Both were very good but also overpriced. $14.00 for 5 slices of Manchego Cheese is, in my opinion, overpriced.
As an entree, I ordered the "Salmón al Albariño " that came with Creamed Spinach and boiled potatoes. I ordered a side of Espárragos Frescos Gratinados (Fresh Asparagus Au Gratin), ($8.00 for 5 asparagus spears). The salmon was very dry and bland, it really had very little taste. The creamed spinach was cold, and the asparagus was undercooked; the au gratin was hard and also cold, not creamy as it should be. The best part of the meal was the bottle of wine we ordered!
The service was mediocre, at best. The waiter seemed rushed and distracted. He never once came to the table during the meal to ask how everything was, or if we needed anything. We had to track him down through other waiters. Our water glasses were never refilled unless we asked.
Again, extremely disappointed. They most definitely did NOT live up to their reputation. Maybe they've been around so long and are so popular, that they have become complacent...big mistake! The restaurant was not even full. I can't imagine what it would have been like had the restaurant been busy.
I will not be returning to Casa Juancho any time soon and I can't, in good faith, recommend this restaurant. I have been to so many other Spanish/Mediterranean restaurants that are superior to Casa Juancho in every way.
Excellent customer service
We celebrated NYE with a low key dinner at Casa Juancho. Everything was very nice. The decor is lovely. The tables were socially distanced & servers wore masks. The food was really good. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves very much.
The best spanish restaurant in Miami, a must vist if you are in the area, try the Paella, we ordered one and it was cooked to perfection.
Glad Casa Juancho reopenned. Dinner last night was outstanding! Great service by the entire team, and our waiter Manuel.
Excellent as always. Service and food are top notch.
Awesome everything was as always amazing
Good quality and consistent every time.
This place has changed drastically. They have reduced their menu and their wine list is not up to date. There is not enough waiters. They are forced to run around the restaurant and can’t fully attend all their tables. I am disappointed and unsatisfied with my experience. (Apparently after COVID hit there is no chicken, as they’ve taken it completely off the menu)
Muy buena atención , y muy buen ambiente , muy satisfechos
Place is 10/10 service and food is amazing
EXCELLENT FOOD! EXCELLENT SERVICE, COULD USE A BETTER ATMOSPHERE
Excellent food and service
Food was delicious as always.
Great service.
One of the best Spanish restaurants in Miami.
Best Spanish food in Miami by far.
The food was amazing. Great ambiance and great service.
Gracias!
Great food!
Great Service & Food! We love it & will be back soon.
I drove 2 hours to eat one of the restaurant's staple dishes. I was informed that due to COVID-19 they did not have it. Too bad. The menu was shorter than usual and the Maitre'D was not thrilled to know I had booked a reservation on Open Table. As soon as we checked in, he made a gesture/comment to his waiters. He didn't seem interested in welcoming us. Considering the place was totally empty, you would expect a friendlier attitude. The servers had the same attitude. We weren't not treated badly, but we observed how they treated the rest of the people.
The best spain food in miami the exquisite place 👌👌👌👌
Very pricey - A churrasco steak was $38. A soup was $14! Limited selection of appetizers for those who do not eat seafood.
Was not impressed and do not plan on returning.
Very good, enjoyed the experience
Will recommend to friends and go back
Amazing all around. I felt like I was in Seville!
Still as delicious as ever! Great seafood! Octopus, squid and seafood! The paella looked amazing too!
Casa Juancho is a great restaurant for a celebration. Service was kind of slow: ask for a straw-never came, ask for strawberries-never came; asked for the bill, it took 15 minutes.
Cod croquettes and fried calamari were divine as well as Parrillada de Mariscos and Paella Marinera. Sangir needed more wine, but that's our personal taste. Desserts were good.
We recommend Casa Juancho for a great meal and nice time!
omg, food was amazing, very authentic spaniard food, felt like in Spain wow, happy b day for my spouse , thanks casa juancho
Excellent time. Highly recommend checking out this restaurant
Excellent Paella. Very pleased with the attentive service. Valet parking was prompt. My guests were very pleased with the experience.
Great place to dine if you like Spanish live music. Service and food were excellent. The musicians play guitar and other typical instruments and go from table to table. Very entertaining
3 of the entree’s we ordered were not available, they ran out of them over the weekend, not good if your point was to try them out during first visit.
Great time as always food and service was The best
