From the moment you enter Casa Juancho, you feel as though you are in Spain. The authentic brick, red tiles, fabrics and pottery from Spain create a warm hospitable atmosphere to enjoy some of Spain"s finest cuisine.
As the hot spot for Miami's business leaders, the nightly lines are a testament to the popularity of Casa Juancho.
Good service, good music and the food was awesome. My family was satisfied with this place.
Excellent service by Jose our waiter.
As good as always. Great Spanish food and wine and service.
Great food and service.
Great food. Great music. Great comaradarie with friends.
Great food and service. A little expensive but is worth it. Definitely coming again!!!
Delicious tapas!!! Great service !!!! Would definitely return
Excellent service and food , 100% ......
Very clean and familiar place.
Excellent experience, the food was great, and service was good with the exception that we did not get the correct wine the first time. The headwaiter replaced it for our requested wine at no cost.
The food was fantastic, but the service was EXTREMELY SLOW and some members of the staff were insulting/rude. The gentleman who was refilling water cups and bread didn't speak English, but made a big show in front of our whole table of not giving my husband the bread basket he asked him to replenish and telling him in body language he was fat and not allowed to eat it, then handed it to me instead (I'm a small person). My husband is a bigger guy and it was pretty obvious he was trying to tell him he wasn't allowed any more bread. Awkward. Additionally, the live music was great (very loud as well), but once their performance was done they came up to each table individually and stood there until you gave them $. Like literally wouldn't leave, standing there silent (they didn't speak English) until you paid them. Luckily one of the women dining with us had cash on her. Again, very awkward. It took about 15 minutes to ever see our waiter and get water, and we had to hunt down someone every time we were ready to order another course. However, the food was very delicious, and the wine list was extensive and reasonable.
The best spain food and the best spain restaurant in miami
I have been customer from 2005 at Casa Juancho
Always I was treated with professionalism , on time and with great food
I dined last Christmas season there and two days ago
Both times the service was extremely slow
1 hours to bring the appetizers and 1.5 hrs from order , to bring the dinner
The management should put their hands deeper in their pocket and hire more personnel to do the job efficiently and professionally
Waiters and helpers are running like crazy to catch up the load of customers , but they are very few to fill up and serve efficiently all these tables
The kitchen must has serious hick ups also, as the plates took sooo long to come out in time
I had plans to close an upcoming Christmas season family dinner once again , but after last weekends experience , I will not revisit the restaurant until management fixes the issues mentioned above .
Total bill for 2 people 220 dollars
For this bill I would expect first class service
Extremely slow. Food was average
Just as expected. Great food and service
Best paella in Miami, food quality remains intact. Service was superb. I just take one star off my rating because there was no music during our visit, neither live nor ambience music, it was completely silent, not what you expect when going out to celebrate something.
best Spanish food in Miami. La mejor cocina espanola en Miami
Well we had to tip the floating “band” to get them away from us so we could actually talk. lol! The food was good but not great. Was here in the 1980’s when it opened and this was the first time back. Probably won’t make it here again.
Si quieres gastar mucho ve a CJ. Excellente lugar pero MUY caro.
Did not realize that it was live music and loud live music and only one type of loud live music. Conversation was impossible. Food was adequate. Steak overdone but this is probably not the spot for steak. Fish in salt was excellent. Drinks were sub par and too expensive
Ce restaurant pourrait etre intéressant si la carte était plus courte et les plats 30% moins chers!
Casa Juancho is an experience! Great authentic food and an energetic environment. My wife and I are foodies and eat in the best places around the world since we are retired and travel frequently. We research the places we select to eat ahead of time. We go to Casa Juancho for what it is. I read people’s complaints about the noise and the music, well I find those folks clueless and not spending time researching on what this place brings you . Instead they should have gone to a boring quiet little restaurant in South Miami. Consider that dining out is not only for the food and to gossip with your friends , but for the overall experience. Highly recommend Casa Juancho for what it offers.
My wife and I found this place as an alternate authentic Spaniard food restaurant to others we go to quite frequently, but were booked or closed for the summer. What a find! First off, the fried anchovies (Boquerones Fritos) were arguably some of the best we ever had. The selection of tapas is fantastic. A bit pricey, but o.k. Service was fast at the beginning (we arrived around 7:50 PM), but then it slowed down as the restaurant patrons started to fill up the place. Considering the place, that's nothing to be too concerned about. Strongly recommended!
As always.... we had a wonderful dinner with friends. The service is always fantastic.
I have been going to Casa Huancho since the early 80's. I have always been attended well and the food has always been very good. I has been some time since I was last there. One thing that struck my fancy was a appetizer that I was unaware that was available, a 'salpicon de mariscos'. It is a dish comprised of fresh seafood, done in a lime vinaigrette. In my opinion, it scores 5 stars. For that alone I will return repeatedly.
One of my all time favorites
A must try. Food is excellent. So is the service and entertainment. Amazing dried calamari. Maybe the best I've ever had.
Have been coming here for excellent meals for over thirty years and it remains outstanding!!!
This used to be one of my favorites restaurants, but no any more after three disappointed visits, this Saturday was the last. I made a reservation for my anniversary and i have to wait 30 min to be seated, not only that, but after we seat, we were another 15 min without server, i do not know if it was because shortage of employees, because everybody was running like crazy, they do not offer any service, we have to leave, because it was 8:45 and we were there since 7:50pm, and we did not have even water or bread, even though we had a 3 year old son, and he wanted to eat something, so we just left, we made a complaint to the manager, but he even did not apologize. This was the last visit to Casa Juancho, i will go to better restaurants, same price and better service. This is very expensive restaurant and you expect same quality for that price, i better expend my money in better places.
Amazing meal - best paella I’ve ever had - even better than my many trips to Spain. The grilled octopus (Pulpo) was fantastic - make sure to get it grilled! Great ambiance and the live music was so fun. We had a five star evening at Casa Juancho!
The seafood in the paella was overcooked lobster and shrimp dry and chewy.
Casa Juancho used to be my favorite place to eat spanish food, but it is no longer. The food was rather mediocre and so was the service. Both of our waiters were very rude and unwelcoming. In fact, I got scolded by one of them for not understanding him when he was giving me the internet password... The only good thing that remains from Casa Juancho are the desserts and the Tuna, everything else was either mediocre or bad. Casa Juancho has worsened over the years and I will most likely avoid coming here in the future unless there is a notable change.
Bueno , bien atendidos , buen tapeo.
pensé era mejor
Excellent Spanish food, the quality of the ingredients is very good.
Been there a few times over the years. Like to take out of town family and visitors. Been two years since last time. Food was really bad. There were 6 of us and 4 ordered different fish dishes. No one thought they were even ordinary. Two of us had the paella and it was not very good. I like paella and have it whenever I can. At roughly $35-$38 per entree there is an expectation of good food.
Valet parking was fine. Ambiance was great - loud as usual and expected. Musicians started and did a set but then disappeared?
Wait staff was courteous and attentive. But it took close to an hour to get our food out. The restaurant was busy but there was no one waiting to be seated while we were there. The delay in getting the food would have been OK if it was good. It was not, so the total experience was not what we had come to expect.
Great food. Would recommend the paella. Very slow service but Would go back....
We've been coming here for over 25 years as the primary Spanish restaurant from Miami. This time around as we've noticed over the last couple of years it is not what it used to be especially for paella for 4 people it was probably the worst paella we've ever had there; It wasn't bad but it definitely wasn't at their standards of a true paella Valenciana. Too much tomato not enough C food flavoring, the rice came out almost white rather than yellow.
The other plates were nice but expensive but is what you expect ..the other major negative point was the upholstery on the chairs were disgusting, needs to be dry cleaned asap.
There are so many other Spanish restaurant options nowadays I would hope this classic place picks up its quality level fast.
Amazing is all I can say!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As always excellent food and service. Dinner with live Spanish Trio singers that comes to the table !!!!
