Casa di Amore Ratings and Reviews
Casa di Amore is the best of the best old school, red sauce Italian restaurants. Don’t worry if you have to wait, just head out back to the indoor tiki bar with indescribable decor and delightful staff. Whoever came up with the decor has an unparalleled imagination. The reason you may have to wait—even with a reservation—is because no one wants to leave. There are the traditional red leather booths and a non-traditional house band that’s not to be missed. Normally, a band in a medium-sized, packed restaurant can be intrusive. Not this one! Part Sinatra, part BB King and everything else in between, this three-piece ensemble is more fun that most any on the strip.
The food. Fabulous!!!! Great marinara sauce for some of the lightest eggplant parmigiana ever, and a very good, tart Caesar salad. Nothing is over-dressed or over-sauced. It’s just right. Our meal included two entrees including veal, the eggplant, two salads and two cannoli was $86! It’s impossible to imagine not taking home half of the meal. The only thing that wasn’t memorable was the dessert, BUT with each cannoli you get a free T-shirt! Who knows why? Service and staff are exceptional. Don’t miss it, but make reservations.
We had reservations @ 6:45 on 02/12 did not get seated until 8:15; Very hungry, very loud.
What is the purpose of booking a table weeks in advance, and not holding it for us? Very disappointed. The only bright spot was our waiter ' Tony' was very professional .
THEN YOU EMAILED ME THAT I DID NOT SHOW UP FOR MY RESERVATION! SHOCKING!
Very disappointed in our visit. Waiter was friendly and helpful, however he said the restaurant would not substitute vegetables for a side pasta dish. Totally unacceptable from a customer standpoint.
I had lasagne and it was tasty. Two at our table had the Eggplant Parmesan. It was the worst ever! Should have made them take it back. No flavor, very thin, no sauce on the dish. Waiter had even suggested it over some other dishes.
Had a dirty martini, very little flavor...not even sure they used the "Call" vodka I ordered.
Menu is very pricey for the quality and amount of food.
We will not be going back.....ever
My husband and I dined here for the first time last week. We had a great time! The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was fun. It had an old Vegas vibe. We loved the live music, the food, our server, and the social atmosphere. We sat near the door, which was not ideal, but our server apologized for it. Next time we will request a booth. I can’t wait to go again! A go to spot for sure!
This is one of my favorites to suggest to take someone new, visitors . The muic is great it Is a throwback to the old supper clubs. Food is great highly recommend ordering the soup and the cheesy garlic bread. All of the entrees are good ample portions and arrive hot to the table. I enjoy coming here.
This is a Wonderful restaurant. We are a group of friends who come out to Las Vegas from New York twice a year and we always come here . Great food, great service, great music... LOVE IT!!!
Michael was dour Server and he is fabulous ...Everyone here pays attention to detail and the quality of the food is always consistent. Don't miss it.
My Italian husband loves this place, and so do I. The food is always great - never had a bad meal yet! The service is friendly and fast, the music is fun - but loud - and the bar area is great for playing AND watching games. The prices are Las Vegas reasonable. We take family and friends here for special occasions - and because I LOVE the cioppino!
We came here with a group of friends while we were in town for the super bowl. We loved it here. It’s an awesome ambiance and the service was great. Brad was our server and he was excellent. We all can not wait to go back next time we are in town. Would highly recommend.
We have been to Casa Di Amore numerous times in the past 10 years and have never had such a mediocre meal. The first issue was waiting for our table for over 40 minutes while having an 8pm reservation. Then, after sitting down at 8:45, we were told the singer who is normally there (George I believe) would not be playing tonight. The server was great as usual, but had a hard time hearing our order, due to the noise level in the room. The appetizers were good, but not great. The portions were small and the lobster ravioli was lukewarm. The entree prices have risen and the portions definitely are smaller. The veal parmigiana, pasta alla forna and pork chops valdostana were ordered. The veal was small, lukewarm and had a small amount of sauce. The pork chops were lukewarm and had less stuffing. The pasta was nice and hot, but only had 2 shrimp. Overall it was easily the worst experience we have had here. Hopefully, the next time we visit, it will improve!!
I have been to casa di amore 3 other times and everything was amazing, after 7 years
I had to stop back in for great food and service. This time was absolutely horrible from the waitress toni to the horrible mama Mia margarita to the food. The waitress took our order, after 15 minutes the busser drops off our soup and salad, no bread. I'm watching the server talk to coworkers and finally realizes I don't have my margarita so I get my drink 20 mins after I ordered it. After 45 mins our server realizes we don't have our food and says it should be coming soon. Another 15 mins later( a whole hour after ordering) our food comes, my medium ribeye Is warm on the outside and cold on the inside and rare. My boyfriends chicken parmesan has 2 different layers of cheese , one that is cold and the one on top warm, showing everything was reheated. Our garlic loaf that we ordered didn't show up either . Overall this was a waste of time and money
There were many good reviews, so we gave it a try. I can only conclude that the folks who gave the good reviews do not know what great Italian food is! The veal parmigiana was pounded so thing you could only taste the breading. My wife had veal marsala and the veal was swimming in a very heavy sauce. The server was doing her best, but she was very overwhelmed. The noice level is extremely loud. Bottom line....this is a neighborhood joint with prices that belong on the strip. We will not be going back.
A gem of Las Vegas. When we are in Las Vegas (at least twice a year) it is always a great meal & experience. When planing our trips we include a night at Casa di Amore, instead of going to a show, be part of the show at Casa di Amore. The food, music, and staff define the whole package. As always thanks for the great time.
Tried this gem on a recommendation from a friend and we were not disappointed! The food was fantastic! Wanted to eat more but couldn't take another bite! The live music was great and not cheesy! Totally worth the drive or take advantage of the free shuttle service, which was also fantastic! The driver, Steve(?), was super friendly and helpful!
Thanks for good time!
