Casa di Amore Ratings and Reviews
Cocktails were well made (Bacardi Cocktail & Bourbon Old-fashioned), dinner was very good and service was attentative (Robert) and knowkedgeable. Entertainment duo was very good. That being said, if you are looking for a quiet italian restaurant or romantic evening this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a place with atmosphere a little more noisey, good food and service I would say yes by all means go to Casa di Amore
Have eaten here many times. We have never experienced the noice level as there was that night. CES in town and the restaurant was very crowded. It was so loud we took our food home to eat. The manager was very apologetic and gave a discount. Not really his fault.
I had heard about Casa Di Amore FOREVER but, never tried it. We decided to come for our wedding anniversary as we both love Italian food. It was great! From the prompt seating (we had a reservation), to Tony our waiter to our amazing pasta dishes. I had their Pasta Alla Forno and my husband had the Pesto Pasta, we shared a calamari and garlic loaf and then shared a Creme Brûlée for dessert. We will definitely be back!
We chose to dine here on Christmas night. A small band was playing and singing old school R&B music which was nice. It was our first time and the food and wine was amazing. Robert Anthony our server is an asset to the company. Will definitely dine here again and tell friends about this find.
We dined on Christmas Eve. The food was very good and the music fun. This place would have received 5 stars BUT although we has a reservation we had to wait 45 min for our table. I have been here before and the same thing happened so I guess it's their way of doing business which is a shame. Why bother taking a reservation? This would make me think twice about returning.
Having eaten at Casa Di Amore's a number of times previously, this was the second time, in a row, my lady and I were disappointed. This time it was the food. Previously the restaurant served top notch Italian fare. This time my lady and I described the food as being just fair and a bit bland. We will have to strongly consider returning there again.
Opens at 5PM, there were 5 couples waiting, the hostess unlocked the door and didn't bother to invite us in, I had to try the door again. Baked clams were tasteless and the stuffed pork chops were to dry to eat and I would expect the brandy cream sauce to be light in color not dark brown and salty. The gentleman that appeared to be the manager went to every table but ours. Made a reservation for a birthday celebration which was not acknowledged. This is not a cheap restaurant, we are locals and will not be returning, very disappointed.
Best bartenders ever; perfect service, friendly staff, real Vegas ambiance, treat you like family, great affordable food; best venue in Vegas to bring a date; just enough light to read the menu; music that is never loud or disruptive of intimate conversation; and CLEAN AIR. And George Bugatti at keyboard and microphone. Photos of old Vegas on every wall backing up the motto: "the way Vegas used to be." Management so good that no one ever leaves. Same staff today as when it first opened decades ago. So good, that when every other joint in town was dying during the recession, Casa was full every night. Even being next to the Gun Store is an advantage because there are always taxi cabs lined up a few feet away. Can't go wrong here no matter the occasion. My favorite for wining and dining for 25 years.
I ordered the Sinatra Steak which came with vegetables and twice baked potato. It was delicious but there was some fat in the steak. My daughter ordered a pasta/cheese dish and it was a bit dry. The deserts were delicious.
I would just suggest that they update their bathrooms as the toilets don't flush well and update the booth seating, which sits too low.
WE HAD A GREAT EVENING DINING WITH OUR FRIENDS; THE FOOD WAS SUPERB, THE SERVICE OUTSTANDING AND THE AMBIANCE OF THE ENTIRE RESTAURANT IMMENSELY PLEASING. THE MUSIC ADDS SO MUCH TO THE OVERALL PLEASANTRY DURING THE EVENING. WE WILL BE BACK SOON.............PREPARED FOR ANOTHER TERRIFIC EVENING!!!!!!!
The lasagna was a let down. I always order lasagna when i go somewhere new to see if they do right by it or not and i felt they didn't. The cheese ravioli she ordered was good and the calamari was god but the main dish for me personally was a let down. There was no flavor profile or uniqueness to the flavor. It could've been frozen and I couldn't tell any flavor from it. Just blah and boring.
We have been going to Casa di Amore for years, even before moving to Las Vegas 12 years ago. The food is "simple" Italian done really well, but the wait staff has been stable and recognize regular customers. We have never been late night, but hear they rock it past sunrise. The clientele runs the gamut age-wise. It is usually busy and noisy in a good way, everyone is having a good time. We've never had to suffer through an adjacent conversation, the tables are not stacked in and crowded. It's old school, with Sinatra style music. George Bugatti is our favorite, but whoever is playing is enjoyable. We just love it here!
