Casa D'Angelo - Boca Raton Ratings and Reviews
Absolutely the finest Boca Italian restaurant. Starts with impeccable service, awesome specials and one of the few Boca restaurants whereas the management ( Paula ) always greets you and checks every aspect of your meal.
Our go to restaurant in Boca.
Make sure you try the Veal Chop. OMG!!
Spectacular food and service. Every time we visit Boca Raton, we make dinner reservations at Casa DA. The food is always prepared beautifully and plated well. There are many options to choose from with a nice array of daily specials. We enjoy being seated in the wine room because it tends to be a bit more quiet. Great food, great wine, great vacation.
Have not been here for a few years. We were disappointed.
The ceaser salad was made with arugala instead of romaine. It was not crisp or cold.
Anchovies that were requested on the side were never served. Veal scallopini was not tender. A side of pasta was overcooked and starchy.
On the plus side, our reservation for a party of 5 was honored. The decor was updated and attractive.
Sincerely hope Casa D’angelo returns to it’s former quality
Casa D'Angelo was good. We have eaten there several times before and enjoy the experience. We each had a beef carpaccio, with white truffles, which was the highlight of the meal. My wife was not pleased with her veal with mushrooms, which had an excessive amount of tomato sauce. My veal milanesa was excellent, but I would have preferred it without the salad on top. Our deserts were quite good. Service was excellent, and our food was served with unusual speed. We will go back.
Can’t go there without listening to to the specials before ordering
I had the 16 oz Veal Chop that was the best ever.
A bottle of Nebiola and the night was complete
Unbelievable service in the greatest location
Hats off to Casa Di Angelo!!
Great restaurant. We have been there many times and the food and service are excellent. Our server this time was excellent again. The only thing that wasn't so great was the veal parmesan. It tasted like the veal had started to go bad. I didn't say anything and assumed maybe it was just a bit more of a gamey batch of meat. But, afterward another guest who also had this dish made the same comment. I guess neither of us wanted to say anything to the server because it didn't taste like it was totally spoiled, only somewhat spoiled. But, we didn't get sick so that's good.
Again, great place. This was the first bad dish we have had and we probably should have sent it back and gotten something else.
Very disappointed with the food. For a white cloth dining the value quality and food was nothing spectacular. My food at home is better. I had the Rissotto and it was bland the mushrooms tasted like it was right out a can. Served in the wrong plate presentation was not appealing. Calamares and zucchini in a tempura. I was hoping for more of an Italian style breading.
