We came to celebrate a birthday. Ambience, service and food was outstanding.
Very attentive server, food was excellent!
Beautiful restaurant !
We were seated at a very small table only complaint.
My wife and I have been to Casa a number of times, at least once each time we visit Ft. Lauderdale. Usually the food is very good, but this visit was most disappointing. the food was not up to what i expect, as the swordfish and veal medallion dinners were not good. Some of the veal was tough and the fish was nothing to rave about. We may need to skip Casa on our next visit. Maybe we should have complained to the waiter, but we are not ones to do that.
I dont know who this Angelo dude is but every establishment he puts up is excellent. i am pretty sure this is his signature restaurant and it really is special. Fort Lauderdale has excellent food for the most part but for a fine italian meal to impress - this is the place.
The wine list is also pretty amazing, we found a good value on a bottle and it was a perfect evening for my Wife's Birthday.
Thank you Angelo for everything you do - we are fans of all your establishments!
Outstanding experience every time we visit. Great food, great wine, attentive waiter and wonderful ambiance. We sat outside and it was like we had our own private dining room. Highly recommend!
We visited Casa D'Angelo for our anniversary dinner and we were not disappointed! The dining experience is top notch. The food was well prepared and the flavor was amazing. We will definitely return!
Met friends for dinner and was handled expertly by Martino, our waiter, from start to finish. One of the most enjoyable dining experiences this year. we rarely get pasta, but the description was so enticing and the freshness so evident, that we couldn't resist. Do try the eggplant appetizer.
We went for my daughter birthday and the food and service was excellent. Waiters were attentive and I can’t wait to return
Very professional ! We weren’t really dressed as this was a spur of the moment decision, but we’re never made to feel like we were underdressed. Waiter was personable and professional. Food, excellent! 👍👍
it was a birthday
WE LOVE JOINING CASA D'ANGELO FAMILY FOR DINNER. WE HAVE SO MANY FAVORITES BUT EDWARD HAS BECOME FAMILY TO US.
Food was tough and tasteless. I asked for sauce for my tasteless appetizer and I was brought tasteless sauce. No plan to return. Overrated establishment
As always. The best italian food in south Florida. The service was excellent and the new bR is a great place to have a pre- dinner cocktail
Truly one of the best restaurants in Ft Lauderdale. Beautiful space, great menu and outstanding cuisine. The service couldn’t be better. Totally enjoyable birthday celebration for my husband.
outstanding wine list!
GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE. Is rated #1 restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale for good reason - the best around.
I am very impressed by our waiter, Sandro T., who could remember and announce all the specials (from apps, salad, meat and seafood) by heart. We feel well-welcomed to celebrate my husband’s birthday dinner at Casa D’ Angelo.
Wonderful from the minute we entered. New decor so beautiful. Charming manager and server. Food fantastic. Enough for dinner next day. Delicious. Nicely served and piping hot. Cant wait to return 6 stars all the way
Shrimp were chewy and not tasrey . My husbands veal parm fair
As always, simply amazing, we love, love, this place!
Went her for my wife's birthday. Been here many times, and it is her favorite.
Our waiter Peter was very good. There were flies in our water. The food was so so. Chicken Parm lacked taste.
Our favorite place to eat...everyday dining or special occasion. Service from our favorite waitress,Abba, just makes the dining experience even more pleasurable! Food is always fantastic.
Used to love this place many years ago. Now it feels sinister. The lasagne that I thought was incredible 8 years ago was just so so and the broccoli rabe was a pile of mush for $10. The waiter is not going to be very interested in you unless you are spending big bucks, which everyone else is. It's for rich people, boring rich people, not the nice kind. Very dark. Not fun.
Food was excellent and the service too. Will definitely be going back next trip to Ft. Lauderdale.
Great food and impeccable service by Peter. Worth the price.
Loved this restaurant for many years. Sorry to say the food quality and service is not what it used to be. Have tried to go back 3 times and dissapointed each time... tonight was my birthday and we had a very mediocre meal
We had a very good experience at the restaurant. The food was excellent and prepared just right. Our waiter, Edward H. was superb for being courteous, helpful in our selection of food, prompt in serving our courses and friendly in conversation with us throughout our meal.
I would recommend it to everyone.
Delicious food and great service.
Bottom line first: Though we're not ones for hyperbole, our overall dining experience at Casa D'Angelo was exceptional.
When looking for an Italian restaurant while on a recent trip to South Florida, we noticed that Casa D'Angelo appeared on a few lists of South Florida's best Italian restaurants, including Thrillist, which is a one of our trusted online dining advisors.
Getting a dinner reservation at Casa D'Angelo on Easter Sunday via Open Table was no easy feat. However, a few days of online persistence paid off. (We thank whoever likely cancelled their reservation,)
Casa D'Angelo's impersonal, red-brick, strip mall/office park facade belies the soothing, comfortable, understated, yet confident, elegance of its interior.
Because Casa D'Angelo was buzzing with activity, including a party of 28 next to us, we anticipated a rushed server who would perfunctorily take our order and bring our food. Instead, we were treated to the all-too-rare-these-days restaurant wait professional who thoughtfully navigated us through the wine list and dinner menu. For example, a 16-ounce veal chop parmigiana for $44 can stretch the wallet and waist line. Our server suggested that he could split the veal chop for two and pair it with the gnocchi.
Because our server had already earned our trust, we followed his suggestion. And the kitchen delivered! A great veal chop parmigiana was almost as good as the oh-so-pillowy-soft and sweet gnocchi. We enjoyed the meatball and sausage we had for a starter. We also shared the Insalate Angelo (chopped salad); though it was good, consider trying other starters or salads.
Our only regret: because we indulged our appetites for dinner, we did not leave room for dessert.
AMAZING RESTAURANT!!!!!! OUTSTANDING FOOD & SERIVCE! Great people watching!!
Best food in the state of Florida
Everything was delicious.
Casa d’Angelo’s has the highest quality fabulously prepared italic an food anywhere. And don’t judge the restaurant by the menu, which is great, but doesn’t begin to cover the many specials thT they have every night using the freshest fish and meat available. Take the advice of the knowledgeable and experienced wait staff- they won’t steer you wrong. Like being in Italy!!
Took my parents for their 60th anniversary. Service, food, and everything were perfect!
Great place. Tremendous service - Food a plenty. Highly recommend
Recommended by our friends who have dined here. Wonderful meal with great service. Will return if we come back to Fort Lauderdale.
Stick with the menu not the specials.Always very good service.
Busy and nicely run family business. Food is consistently good with a great Saturday night atmosphere
The service was outstanding. The food was outstanding.
