Great food, service and wine list. For sure one of the best real Italian restaurant in Florida.
Carl provided wonderful service and made us feel part of the restaurant family. He made the dining experience special. Food was wonderful and well presented.
One of our favorites. Never disappoints. Aba is the best and the entire staff is attentive and always on point.
Our first time... dinner was delicious!
The Ricotta Cheesecake was amazing!
Our Waiter Sandro was awesome!
We will return!!!
It was our second visit to this restaurant after some years
Still very good Service Top Food as well
Free valet is well received
We will come back on our next visit to this area
Karl was amazing! The food delicious as always. Never disappoints! Perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or to have authentic Italian food. From the apps to dessert perfection! 💜
Everything is always great. Our favorite restaurant in Fort Lauderdale by far.
Another great night at Casa d’Angelo
The room is calm, comfortable and elegant
Our water, Raul, was friendly, helpful, and professional
And our dinners were delicious
Excellent food, best Italian pasta I’ve had in the US. Very expensive though.
This has been our go to restaurant for special occasions for years, and our anniversary dinner didn’t disappoint. Great service, a nearly overwhelming wine list, and a huge selection of off-menu specials make for a special evening. Thanks to their sommelier, who expertly decanted our special bottle at the table.
Excellent experience. Food was authentic with great originality and variety. Staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. Fantastic wine list. This restaurant is definitely at a higher level than most, with great attention to detail. A must do in Fort Lauderdale.
This place never disappoints. The food is just absolutely outstanding!
Wonderful food and service
As always.... consistency and top quality on dishes! When your Osso Buco taste exactly like in 2003, well that’s perfection! Every time we visit the restaurant we make a point of trying a new dish and a different bottle of wine. I suggest you go a make your own memories at Casa D’Angelo.
Great experience 👍🏻very good service and excellent food
The food was Amazing and so was the service! Highly recommend.
The Best Italian Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. The staff always know how to make a special occasion special. Wait staff is still the best in town!
This is our most favorite restaurant. The service and food is impeccable - we keep going back for more! ASk for Edward - he's the best!
excellent meal...three of us with very different tastes...what I call costelleta di Vitello Milanese was very good...ravioli with sage also very good......would definitely go back
Go for the veal chop with gorgonzola cheese. It’s thick , lean , juicy.
Nos atendieron de maravilla y comimos delicioso. Para mí sigue siendo de los mejores restaurantes de Fort Lauderdale.
overall this is a great restaurant. Great food. The wine list is the best in south Florida. our server Raul was excellent. my only gripe is they try to squeeze in too many tables. would it hurt that much to allow some more space between the tables in the main dining room. Servers bump into each other; guests bump into the other tables when getting up. everyone's conversations are shared with everyone else. upon further reflection the over crowding is a major draw back.
Five stars just isn’t enough! This restaurant is phenomenal! So beautiful, so delicious, the staff is outstanding and Federico our waiter is a consummate professional.
Angelo does it right, every time...
Always excellent as anticipated. Welcoming staff makes our dinners memorable.
It was lovely!! Food and service excellent.
Another winner here. Seafood fra diavolo and veal Marsala. Excellent! Edward was fantastic.
Great pasta and service. The waiter was excellent.
Arrived at time of reservation seated right away, corner table near the front of restaurant. The waiter begins the upsell of water flat, sparkling, tap? Tap is fine, Amuse arrives dry tasteless focaccia tomato concasse and olives pecorino is passable. We share beef carpaccio for app, really found the texture to be insipid lacking the quality expected at the premium price, baby arugala was standard not dressed would have favored a more fat to acid play capers anyone? shaved asiago was fine on top with a sprinkling of truffle oil that permeated the dish not over powering thank you. For entrees we order Beef short ribs and Alaskan Halibut Livornese, both additions to the menu. The short ribs were lacking in flavor and the unctuous goodness one would expect from a long braised bone rib, the fish was slightly overdone rather bland from lack of seasoning and caramelization the sauce was sublime, a supporting actor not really elevating the main character. The contorni of rapini was delicate, off color and lacking the garlicy goodness which would have set it off, the side of roasted potatoes and zucchini was a total cast-off of lack attention to detail, which begged the question why? The dining room is cheerful with convivial diners interacting with staff and management, obvious regulars who plunk down the heavy tariff regularly. The service was a bright spot well informed and pleasant, we found the air temperature to be exceedingly warm on this mid-summer night. Summarizing the experience I would say that the quality of food and presentation was rather pedestrian easily found at one's local trattoria and not worthy of the elevated prices, we were hoping for a more elegant refined dining experience with superior technique and intellect.
Simply the best Italian restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. The service, the wine, the presentation. We had dinner the other evening at another “high” end Italian restaurant, it made me so appreciate Casa D’ Angelo. I promise to never cheat on you again.
We have been frequent customers of the Boca Raton and Ft. Lauderdale locations. Our most recent visit to the Ft. Lauderdale location was good, but not quite up to the standards we expected, especially since it was not “in season” and moderately busy. Think the Boca location is a better fine dining experience. Marinated seafood salad, although a generous portion was bland. Apple Desert tasted like it was microwaved with a very sweet and grainy store-bought gelato. Waiter, although friendly, felt like he was too much into our personal space in our interactions. Maybe it was so that we could hear him through the noise.
Gianluca and te entire team are amazing!
Great menu from a great chef
From the minute we were greeted, to the delicious appetizers, entrees and the best ricotta cheesecake ever, casa de Angelo is a diners delight. Don’t miss it!
Food continues to be superb...just pricy. We travel from Boca Raton to Ft. Lauderdale because THIS Casa is better than the boca location
SUPERB AS. USUAL . PERFECTION !
Great food as always! Waiter was adequate but lacking in serving etiquette - reaching across my wife and I with a tray of drinks and with the food! Also the wine was served the same way - is it too much to step around the table! His interactions and availability were quite limited. Disappointing for an upscale restaurant.
Will think twice about returning...
Casa D'Angelo was recommended to me by a friend, and said to be sure and make reservations. So the next time I was in Florida I did, and was NOT disappointed! The service was superb as well as the meal, drinks, and ambiance. I will definitely be back again, and hopefully will be able to get in when we are there "In Season". A must go to when in Fort Lauderdale area.
