Casa D' Angelo
We consider hats, ball caps, tank tops, flip flops, sleeveless shirts , jerseys and athletic apparel too casual for our restaurant.
Roasted potatoes, rosemary, garlic, tuscan olive oil
Milanese or Parmigiana Style
Chopped romaine, asiago, tomato, red onions, roasted peppers, balsamic vinaigrette
As usual the food and atmosphere were fantastic. Carl is a great waiter. We have been going there for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. Angelo has done a great job of keeping everythin up to snuff at all his restaurants but Fort Lauderdale still our favorite.
Food was amazing. Waiter was attentive. They ask you to order appetizers and food at the same time and have no pace. Feels rushed. Had our main entrees 30 mins after sitting down. Too fast.
Favorite restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. Never disappoints.
Ambiance is beautiful. Service is incredible. This was our second time coming.
Delicious food and excellent service in a beautiful setting
Dinner here is typically a great experience. Tonite we had grilled swordfish and it was amazingly moist , fresh and cooked to perfection.
Fantastic! As always!
Outstanding in every way! Highly recommend
We’ve been to Casa d Angelo many times. Today the food wasn’t served hot (enough) and didn’t have their typical wow flavor. Service was great.
Had Reservations. We were seated within 5 minutes.
The tables are so small for 4 people.
We were so uncomfortable trying to accommodate our drinks and food on this little table for 4.
Our Server was great in the beginning however it all went downhill. Too many tables to Serve at once.
Food was just ok.
We had two bottles of Prisoner Wine! That was the only highlight of the Evening.
Will not Return
We sat at the bar and enjoyed a great dinner, the staff was great...
Came on New Year’s Day with the family….arrived early with our reservation and was sat right away. Our server Andreas was very attentive, food came out quickly and his recommendations were excellent. First time dining here and we will for sure be back. The food is excellent, pricy but worth it. 5 stars.
Service was attentive and food was amazing. The table had the burrata app which was delicious. The fusilli and bucatini were very tasty. The table also had the ricotta cheese cake that was light and came with fruit. This restaurant has created an amazing ambiance in a parking lot! I highly recommend. Best Italian food I have had in a long time.
Service was great! Hector was our waiter and was great!
Food was delicious! The dessert of apple tart with cinnamon Gena to was outstanding!
Appetizers were great, main dishes were just ok. Waiter was satisfactory at best. Overpriced based upon the meal
So I tried sitting inside for the first time to get a different experience. Outside is usually nice however we didn’t wanna sit in the parking lot. I was sat in the corner of a small two table room no ambience , quite enough for us to hear every word from the table across from us. Felt rushed as the waiter stand 2 feet from the table waiting for you to make your decision. I ordered the risotto with truffle and the truffle smelled amazing however the risotto was so bland even with $50 worth of truffle shaved on it it tasted like nothing. Soft rice basically. So disappointed! The meatball appetizers were good, luke warm. My husband enjoyed his seafood pasta. My chop salad was OK. We come to this place every time we are in Fort Lauderdale and this was by far the worst experience from the seating to the food and the rush. Definitely weren’t able to relax and enjoy our $350 dinner for two.
We shared a wonderful birthday dinner with friends. Dino took very good care of our table. Food and drinks were excellent. We had a very nice corner where we could converse and enjoy the evening.
Always the best dinner in town.
Durro our waiter was exceptional as was the sommelier. Loved the evening!!!
Great food and service
To fancy to go with little kids
Always amazing!!! From the moment you drive up, service is immaculate. I love Casaaaa 🥰
Excellent selection of Italian entrees , delicious with great service.
Always a wonderful experience! The staff is attentive and professional. The food is consistent and delicious!
Can’t say enough about the wine selection - it’s magical
Casa D’Angelo is unequivocally the best Italian restaurant in Fort Lauderdale! The menu is excellent and the specials are authentic yet inventive. We enjoyed pillowy gnocchi Amatraciana that had layers of flavor from the smoky pancetta, sweet San marzano tomatoes, and finished with a kiss of heat. The stuffed Kurobata pork chop was so warmly flavored and reminiscent of hazelnuts with its unique richness. The branzino is always so fresh and the bountiful, wine list is amazing! Martino is the most knowledgeable, charming ,and wonderful server and the staff is amazing! We topped our meal off with molten chocolate cake with gelato —just divine! Make a special day even better by visiting Casa D’Angelo!
Outstanding food and service, one of the best restaurants in South Florida.
Thursday night was an amazing meal. Our matinees at the bar were perfect. We were seated opposite the glass wine cellar. Great view of hundreds of bottles waiting to be consumed. The zucchini flowers are my favorite, my husband the grilled octopus. He loved his beautifully prepared veal chop. He was over the moon. I had the rigatoni with eggplant, and my daughter the ravioli stuffed with ricotta and spinach. It is dressed with a sage pine nut sauce. She too was the member of the clean plate club. The wine we chose Belle Glos pinot noir was smooth and rich. We all enjoyed every drop.Carl OUR go to person for the best service in Fort Lauderdale rounded out to make our evening the best it possibly could be.
Very busy, very crowded. Food is always excellent but service can be a bit S-L-O-W !!! The waiter brought my fish to the table to show me before he took it away to debone. At least 30 minutes go by……..tick tock…….before he brings the fish back plated. 1 hour 15 minutes after arrival. Im convinced he wanted to run out the clock on my expensive bottle of wine thinking I might order another. Regardless you eat here for the food and I would again.
Overpriced veal chop at $140
Outstanding as always!!
Thank you so much for making each and every dining experience a special event!! Your service and food are second to none. We appreciate all of you!! Merry Christmas Casa D’Angelo staff!!
We can’t wait to return!!
Some of the things we ordered:
Fettuccine with truffles
The wine selection was also amazing!! If you want it they have it!!
Fantastic food. Wonderful service.
Where to start. The waiter dropped utensils on the table and spilled sauce all over the table which also splattered on my silk blouse. After seeing that it got on my blouse, he asked “what would you like me to do??” Two other people/managers came to the table and asked me (the customer) “what can we do”, “he didn’t mean to speak to you like that, he’s old and getting ready to retire”, and “can we offer you dessert”? Not once did anyone say “let us pay for your dry cleaning, no problem!” Come on!! It’s simple customer service!! Stop making the customer feel bad and trying to get them to figure out the solution when it’s your responsibility!!
Outstanding experience. Wonderful food, ambiance and service. Will definitely be back.
Absolutely fantastic.! Food, wine and service were so beyond our expectations! A superb evening.
The two waiters were just outstanding and most professional. Even the water boy made himself relevant as he reminded us we had left the “doggies bag” at the table.
What a joke of a strip mall business. The waitstaff is rude, and the host is a d*uche.
The owners aren’t even full-time Floridians — half the time they’re in Snowmass where their Aspen property is an even worse embarrassment: picture the basic menu here, but at over a 100% markup.
When in Fort Lauderdale, instead go to:
1. Il Mulino
2. Taco Bell
3. Or Anthony’s
When in Aspen, consider:
1. Campo di Fiori
2. The St. Regis
3. Or even the poor and sad Mezzaluna before this hot-mess.
Awesome food, wait staff!
Overall excellent service and food!
Love the white truffle fettuccini
