This place has lost it’s mojo. No welcome, no interest, food was OK, but prices seemed high. Atmosphere was week, full of strangers rather than regulars. Requiem for Casa brindisa, such a shame for this once great business.
Hi Jos10k, I was saddened to read your review and understand that your experience was not as great as on your previous visits. As you know Casa Brindisa has been the home of tapas at South Kensington during the last 10 years and, at present, we strive to keep doing that. I would love to have the opportunity to welcome you again soon and I am sure that you will enjoy your whole experience again next time. Thank you and 'hasta pronto'. Best regards, Casa Brindisa
Good food but thought the atmosphere was lacking, good service
Dear SarahB, Thank you for your review. It was a pleasure to have you at Casa Brindisa. Best regards, Casa Brindisa
Very expensive in relation of price food
Dear Maoruipqrdo, Thank you for your recent visit to Casa Brindisa. I am sorry to know that you didn't have a great experience and I apologise for that. Your feedback is important and will help us to improve where we failed. Best regards, Casa Brindisa
I expected it to be along the lines of the tapas bars at Madrid and Barcelona ... sadly disappointed .
The Fritura de cadez was not fresh !
Dear Maddy, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review after your recent visit to Casa Brindisa. I am sorry to know that you did not enjoy our fried fish tapa, at Brindisa we endeavour to serve the finest and freshest Spanish foods and I apologise if you did no experience that. Please be assured that your feedback has been shared with our kitchen. Best regards, Casa Brindisa
Friends over from USA. They loved it too! Better than any tapas they’ve had in New York!
Dear Morgann, Thank you for your lovely compliment, it was a pleasure to have you and your friends with us! Best regards, Casa Brindisa
Delicious tapas, good wine, service was quick and friendly ...indoors was respite from the London heat on Saturday! Great location to pop in after a trip to the V & A.
Will definitely recommend.
Dear Woodleydiners, It was a pleasure to have you with us at Casa Brindisa, we are thrilled that you enjoyed your visit! Best regards, Casa Brindisa
Food is ok but not as good as it used to be. The place is starting to feel too much like a chain and standards are declining, a common trend when restaurants become successful unfortunately.
Dear Stewart, Thank you for visiting Casa Brindisa again, it is always a pleasure to have you with us. I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the food as you used to do. Please be assured that your feedback has been shared with our kitchen team. Best regards, Casa Brindisa
Great tapas, friendly service and reasonably priced wine.
We tried to call the restaurant to let them know that we were running a little late (just over ten minutes) but got no reply. When we arrived, we realised why because no one would have been able to hear the ‘phone due to the noise anyway. The service was very good and the food was fine. For us it was just too darn loud!
Dear Steve, Thank you very much for your recent visit to our restaurant and your feedback, we are happy that you enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere at our restaurant is quite lively sometimes like the tapas places in Spain and this is why many of our customers love it. However, I understand your feedback and we will work to improve that. I would love to have the opportunity to welcome you again soon! Best regards, General Manager Casa Brindisa
A really excellent venue for casual meal before visiting Albert Hall.
Dear Diana, Thank you so much, we hope you had a lovely day at South Ken. Tapas and Royal Albert Hall is a great plan! Best regards, Casa Brindisa
Average Tapas, tourist trap restaurant, uncomfortable dining with loud music
Dear Danny, Thank you for your recent visit to our restaurant. I was saddened to know that you did not have a good experience and I apologise. Your feedback is important to us, thank you for sharing it. Best regards, General Manager Casa Brindisa
Excellent tapas as usual, love the sangria too and staff are always friendly and helpful and swift to help. We dine here before attending RAH: very convenient.
Second visit here and both times the food has been very good. Good ambiance and buzzing restaurant. Food is served quickly - Tabla para picar sharing board is a bit disappointing - its best to order individual dishes - goats cheese and spinach croquettes and the broken eggs star dishes.
On this occasion we were slightly rushed to pay the bill but the waitress apologised and gave good service overall.
It was my mum's first time for tapas and she loved it. I would highly recommend it the food was excellent and so was the service. Thank you
Noisy on a Friday night in a room full of people trying to make conversations. If you are looking for a romantic night do not go on Fridays and Saturdays.
Dear Honestreviewm, Thank you for your recent visit to Casa Brindisa and for taking the time to leave a review. It would be our pleasure to welcome you again should you plan a future visit. Best regards, General Manager Casa Brindisa
Average food and service. Not sure it’s a repeat.
Enjoyed an afternoon catch up with friends and their young children who were visiting from abroad. Specified 2 child seats when booking but only one available. Our table was placed near the kitchen, in high traffic area which was slightly inconvenient for the children - this should've been thought of when the restaurant reserved the table.
Food was great though slightly expensive. Our initial waiter was not helpful, very distracted when taking our orders, did not know the menu when we were asking him questions. One or two dishes were missed and we had to request for them. The following waiters after our food had arrived were excellent, attentive and friendly.
Beautiful food - particularly the prawns
Graciously accommodated our early arrival
My only reservation is that the tables are too small. The two person tables could not fit all the tapas plates on and this problem appeared to be the case for several people.
Also a shame the mixed starters are not available at the weekend
Dear customer, Thank you so much for all your positive comments, I am pleased that you had a good experience and enjoyed the food and the service at our restaurant. Best regards, Casa Brindisa
We booked a table for 4 for a 16th Birthday, when we arrived the receptionist recognised the name and wished my grandaughter a happy time, they also brought us a cake and the waiters sang to us in Spanish. It was delightful. The service was excellent, the food really good and not expensive with an amazing variety of dishes. I would recommend this restaurant, but book early as it was obviously very popular
My Spanish husband and I love this place - food is spot on. Only trouble is the South Ken spot can get a little loud especially if they’ve put music on as well.
Dear Sarah, It is an absolute pleasure to know that you and your husband love Casa Brindisa. I appreciate your comments about our food and we look forward to seeing you again soon. Best regards, General Manager Casa Brindisa
Great spot - my favorite Spanish in London.
Outstanding! Never before we had indian food like that!
Suited us very well for lunch prior to visiting the Dior Exhibition at the V&A. Service was acceptable and food was good. Seemed noisy at first but did not impede our conversation and we got used to it. We enjoyed it.
Dear Catherine, We are delighted that you loved your visit to Casa Brindisa before your visit to the Dior Exhibition and the V&A, we hope you had a fabulous day and we look forward to seeing you again soon. Best regards, General Manager Casa Brindisa
Tables a little close together. Very jolly service. Calamares, asparagus and padron peppers all good. Tortilla disappointing
Visited with my mum for lunch. Good food, great service, noisy once the place filled up a bit - my mum’s in her 80s and couldn’t hear what I was saying. Liked it enough to go back at a quiet time and would recommend to friends.
Great service and delicious well cooked tasty tapas with a lovely full flavoured Spanish white wine
The food on your website looks delicious and generous BUT it did not match the food delivered to our table, e.g. 3 croquettes not four!
The meet palettes at £22 each were shameful and mean; we had two so got fleeced for £44! The Jamon was sliced so thin it became tasteless.
£4.50 for five Olives, think again please. Even the bread portions came with minute portions of olive oil.
A Spanish restaurant that is mean with Olive Oil, that should be a national concern.
We were a group of six; our meal was over £300 and I felt hungry as I left the restaurant.
I will not be returning.
Dear LesleyWaller, Thank you for your recent visit to Casa Brindisa and for sharing your experience. Lovely, spacious and vibrant restaurant. A constant favourite. Food superb and great, friendly service. A bit pricey but hey it’s just a regular treat!
Dear anthonyc, Thank you so much for your lovely comments, we couldn´t ask for a better compliment! Best regards, General Manager Casa Brindisa
This was our first time at Casa Brindisa. Enjoyed every minute, great, friendly staff, who went the extra mile. Really enjoyed the food, quite different from other tapas restaurants we have been to. Delicious. Will definitely visit again. Beautiful location too.

Amazing place, I love and enjoy every bite of it
Have dined here three times now and enjoyed each visit. Service is friendly and efficient which is good if you are heading off somewhere after (good location short walk to the Royal Albert Hall), but we didn’t feel rushed and had plenty of time to enjoy our meal.
Food is lovely! My personal favourites are the chorizo toast, spinach and pine nut salad and chilli & garlic prawns. Enough choice there for both my pescatarian friend and sister who is vegetarian, to find things they liked.
It is fairly noisy with lots of tables quite close together but could still hear each other talk so noise was not a problem.
Price wise on our last visit we paid £30 each (three of us) for 9 tapas dishes, a carafe of wine and bottle of water which I felt was fairly good value for the quality & quantity of food and quick service.
We will definitely be returning again!
Dear HanaF, Thank you so much for sharing your recent and positive experience at Casa Brindisa. I am delighted that our food was suitable for your dietary requirements and please be assured that this has been shared with our kitchen. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Great food but would have loved to have had the octopus!
Great range of imaginative tapas. Service was excellent - our waiter was happy to recommend without being in any way pushy. Perfect light meal before concert at the Albert Hall. Will definitely be going back!
The perfect place to meet friends before going to football
Dear George, Thank you for recommending us, it's highly appreciated. Best regards, Casa Brindisa
Inattentive waiters. They forgot half of our order. Food was mediocre. Very expensive for the quality of food: tourist prices.
Dear customer, Thank you for sharing your feedback of your recent experience at our restaurant. I am sorry that it was not great and I sincerely apologise. Your feedback is important to us and I would be glad if you could share more details, please contact me on reservations@casabrindisacom providing your phone number so I can contact you back. Great Tapas. Excellent real ale selection from Spain. Great atmosphere.
Food was underwhelming and disappointing. Have been to other branches and has been better but that was a while ago.
Fabulous food with great staff. We will definitely go back.
