Dined at Casa Bella many times. We were never disappointed. Always great food and service. Closing of Casa Bella will be a great loss for us. Best of luck to the Avila family and staff on their future endeavors.
This was the first time we were there, it was a recommendation, and we thought it was very good. Everything was very fresh tasting. The portions were just right and we left well satisfied. We would definitely dine there again.
The food was very good, however, we ordered fried calamari and it never came.
As usual the food was terrific. We have taken many friends here, all have loved it. If your looking for some delicious food and a nice night out this is the place!
Second time we went here. Service is slow. I ordered the lamb special, the lamb was excellent, but the sides were just OK. My Wife and Grandson's Chicken with Crab Pasra Dish were Excellent. My Granddaughter's pasta dish was undercooked. She then ordered the Chicken Parm. That was overcooked.
So it's a crap shoot on the quality of the meal you will be served.
My boyfriend and I go to dinner almost every Friday. We often go to the bistro but wanted to try something different. We almost instantly regret that decision. The calamari was not fresh, tasted very rubbery and the mussels were very small and the white wine sauce had a bitter taste to it.
My boyfriend got chicken montez and he took his order back. Being in the hospitality industry before we almost never do that. I received the lobster ravioli and it was okay. The entrees were piping hot as if they were microwaved.
The service and the bread was the best part of our time here. I highly suggest if you are unsure of this place, just go to the bistro to ensure good food.
The food was ok but not spectacular for a restaurant week showing. They were out of multiple items and the cleanliness of the restaurant was in question with a fruit fly issue.
After reading some mixed reviews online I wasn't sure. We were pleasantly surprised and happy with this restaurant . Our waiter David went out of his way to explain the dishes we had questions on. Our food was tasty and served timely. We had a window seat and got to watch the downtown . We will be dining here again. It was sj restaurant week, but we didn't order the price fixe, we ordered off the menu. A byob is always good for us
First time dining here and absolutely satisfied! Excellent food and service!!!!
Our experience here was just rather basic. Decor is kind of bland. Service was good and our server was attentive. Food was simple and average - not bad but not particularly memorable either. There was one burnt roll in our bread basket but other than that, everything was fine. I had the chicken parm. My wife had the chicken marsala. We were both satisfied with our meals and felt the price was fair but we've had better Italian food at a similar price point elsewhere. I did also have the lentil soup, which was one of the specials. That was rather tasteless and watery.
I wouldn't rush back but if we were in the neighborhood and looking for a place to eat, I wouldn't hesitate to give them another try.
Excellent food, terrible service!
Great food but the staff does not manage firing courses well. Seems to be a lack of busboys for example, which requires servers to clear, fill water which then pushes them behind. Bad table management. Aside from that the food is terrific.
The food was horrible and over priced. I left hungry...I sent my meal back they re prepared it, it was still horrible.
The chicken parm was over cooked and dry.
The gravy was good.
We had an 8 dollar salad, that was fine.
Service was slow, could not keep water filled.
Automatically took tip out on the bill.
Our food was delicious and served hot. The servers were friendly and the service was excellent!
We have been here several times over the past year. The food is always great and the service is very attentive.
It can get a little loud when they have a full house, but they also have several outdoor tables that are great (if it is ever nice out!)
We highly recommend.
Very good food and love the bread! The veal was very tender. The kids love the pizza and ravioli.
It is not hard to get reservations. We were an hour late because of traffic, and the owner is nice to accomodate us. Food is excellent, they are very flexible with changes and the servers are prompt. The price is reasonable and the ambience is moderate.
THIS RESTAURANT WAS WHERE WE HAD OUR SECOND DATE AND MANY OTHER DATES AFTER THAT! UNFORTUNATELY, THE FOOD WAS NOT LIKE THE OTHER TIMES WE HAD BEEN HERE. WE ORDERED THE MOZZARELLA FOR AN APPETIZER AND IT WAS A FRIED CHEESE SANDWICH WITH WHAT LOOKED LIKE DELI SLICED MOZZARELLA ON IT....
THE SEAFOOD BISQUE DID NOT TASTE HOMEMADE LIKE BEFORE... IT WAS VERY THICK, LIKE IT CAME FROM A CAN.
MY LOBSTER RAVIOLI WITH VODKA SAUCE WAS RIDDLED WITH RAW ONIONS.... WHICH TOOK OVER THE FLAVOR OF THE DISH.... AND MY HUSBAND'S CHICKEN WITH A LEMON CREAM SAUCE WAS EXTREMELY LEMONY.... BOTH OF THESE DISHES WE'VE ORDERED MANY TIMES BEFORE BUT IT JUST SEEMS LIKE SOMEONE IS TAKING SHORT CUTS ON THE FOOD, WHICH IS VERY UNFORTUNATE.
AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, STOP CUTTING PARSLEY STEMS AND PUTTING IT ON THE FOOD!! I SPENT THE ENTIRE TIME PICKING OUT THE STEMS IN EVERY BITE. PARSLEY LEAVES ARE SUPPOSED TO BE USED, NOT THE STEMS.....
WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING...... :-(
I got chicken parm and pasta. The chicken was tough and gristly. They offered to get me a new platter, but the chicken was horrible again, I could only eat 1 bite, and pasta was overcooked.
My family has always enjoyed dining here however the last 3 times were not a good experience. The pasta was over done, sausage burnt. Family members have also said the food was bland. The service was terrible. The people were very kind but it took 40 minutes to bring our soup salads and appetizers. We were not asked about our beverage choices and there were only 2 waiters . I'm sad to say we will not return .
