   We celebrated my mom’s birthday. It was a very enjoyable experience. We sat near the bar, David was great. He made a wonderful lemon drop martini and his service was excellent.

   A bit frustrating. Two Two of us wanted an Arnold Palmer. No lemonade available. Wanted a side salad with our dinner. Not available. Wanted bread. Had to pay for it. Got the check. 18% tip automatically added. Not a good practice.

   Dear Heidi, Thank you for taking time to share feedback. We understand your frustration with the unavailability of lemonade, but don’t understand your other issues. We investigated your experience and see your party of 3 split 1 dinner, 1 sandwich, and 2 iced teas. No bread or salads were ever ordered but indeed are available for purchase. Your check was split via 3 credit cards $23.98 each. All checks have a calculated recommended minimum pre tax tip for customer convenience. As noted, each credit card paid $3.96 for (as you rate) 5 star service. Please feel free to contact owner Dean Carson at 773-310-1000 if you wish to discuss further.    We really enjoyed our time at Carson’s last night. We were seated promptly, and greeted by our server. The service was excellent & food was as good as expected. Very positive experience.

   That burger still stands as the best burger around. Forget Au Chavel, this is just as good if not better! You don’t need to risk your life or sit in traffic to get this!
