Carrol's Creek Cafe
Located on scenic Restaurant Row in Eastport, Carrol's Creek Cafe is a pleasant stroll across the Spa Creek Bridge from the historic district. Carrol's Creek Cafe offers ample parking and is a convenient Water Taxi ride from Annapolis City Dock.
I really enjoy being by the water. So we ate out on the deck. The weather was perfect!
Service was excellent, very welcoming. Odd to me that I had to pay $2.50 for side of vegetables for $45 entree. Why not just garnish the entree and win points for presentation?
We had a very enjoyable experience... Food was very good, quiet & relaxing brunch seated outside.
Great dining experience. The staff goes above and beyond. The food is delicious. The waterfront view is beautiful. We've been going there for decades and look forward to our next visit. Thank you, Carrol's Creek!
Nice bday lunch
2nd dining experience. 1st was exceptional: food was very good and service was prompt. This time the BBQ shrimp was disappointing and the shrimp and grits had little flavor. My family is from Cajun Country. I expected too much from a Maryland restaurant.
Excellent food and service! We will be back!
We had a great meal and our server, Lexi, was terrific. We sat at an outdoor table overlooking the marina. Very enjoyable evening.
We met my cousin and her husband, who live in the Annapolis area, on our way back from our Florida home to our Connecticut home. It was the perfect location right on the harbor for a delightful dinner. Chris, our waiter was excellent. He took special notice that I was vegetarian and suggested several menu items that would work for me. He was highly attentive throughout the meal and made our experience seamless and enjoyable. Soft shell crabs were in season. My husband and cousin ordered that and they were outstanding. My vegetarian quinoa dish with vegetables was delicious. The glazed donut bread pudding was to die for. I highly recommend Carrol’s Creek Cafe.
very good lunch, compliments to the chef. waiter Tony was attentive but gave us our space. we had out of town business guests and they were pleased with the view and the food. 3 had scallops, I had the rockfish which was VERY good! A couple of us had the beet salad - delish!
Great seafood. All the dishes were well prepared and presented. Server was very friendly.
Always enjoy coming to Carrol's Creek but was somewhat disappointed for our Mother's Day dinner. Food was very good except for 2 exceptions. My daughter ordered salmon and it was very under cooked, almost raw in the center. We were told that it would take about 15-20 minutes for a replacement so she opted for a bowl of cream of crab which was a disappointment as it is usually spectacular. Service was ok, but not great as we had to ask for our server several times particularly regarding the salmon. It took over 5 minutes before the server came back to the table after we requested. (And she never came back after the entrees were were delivered to check on us but made a big deal about that the salmon was removed from the check when she dropped it off). This is my wife's favorite restaurant so we will be back but it was a letdown.
Very nice evening out. The service was great, we were seated right away (had reservation), menu was varied with lots of appealing options. Both our entrees were very well prepared with requested levels of "doneness." The Herb Encrusted Rockfish was outstanding! Nice wine selection also. We don't go often, but CCC remains a favorite.
Excellent service, great atmosphere, terrible food. Me, my daughter and mom, noticed the crabcakes had lots of filler and a strong mustard taste. Two of us complained about the tasteless lamb chops. The other two guests with us liked their fish
Our waiter, Wick, was great! Great view of the water and food was delicious. The cream of crab soup had nice chunks of lump crab meat and the peach creme brûlée was so good!
Took my mom here for a Pre-Mother's Day meal. Overall we enjoyed the experience. However for the prices we felt the portions were rather small. We ordered the scallop appetizer. For $19 we were unpleasantly surprised to only find two scallops. Also, the crab cake sandwich was a bit disappointing in that it also wasn't a big enough portion for the price. If we were to return, we wouldn't order either one of these items.
Pretty restaurant in the Marina. Great views. We thought our food and presentation was excellent. We weren’t hurried and we weren’t delayed by service that was too slow. We took a water taxi from the dock to the Naval Academy, toured and returned by water taxi. Delightful.
Both the rockfish and the scallops were delicious -- the rockfish was clearly the star of the show; the tuna tartare was good, although we were very surprised with the presence of rice in the dish. The cocktails were acceptable. The "coffee and donuts" dessert was delicious. Service was good, just treading the border of intrusive.
It was a beautiful day, so the view of the marina and the city across was splendid. We celebrated our birthdays there. Our server, Taylor, was extremely affable and pleasant. Service with a smile, as it were.
I had the crab cake and lobster tail combo. The lobster was nicely done, but I thought the crab cake wasn't particularly that good, compared with others I've had. Our desserts were complimentary. What a nice touch.
Very scenic place. Go.
Crab cakes had a bit too much filler. Shrimp salad needed some more old bay and seasoning. Blackened tuna and salmon dishes were excellent.
Carroll's Creek never disappoints. It is one of our Go-To places for significant events. We each had the beet salad and scallops. Both were delicious.
Pleasant friendly staff, the view are amazing from the water. The food can use a little more seasoning.
This is a ‘must visit’ restaurant in Annapolis! The location, food and service is exceptional! I highly recommend it!
You won't be disappointed. Sat outside on a nice day. Dockside. Food delish. Service good. Very pleasant crowd and atmosphere.
First time. Awesome, but a little pricey
Rick was amazing
Wonderful lunch! We had the specials and couldn't have been happier. Everything was delicious and service was good & unobtrusive.
The waitress, Angela, was excellent. Cioppino very good.
We celebrated our anniversary with a view of the water and sunset (too windy to actually be outside). Our baked Brie appetizer was delivered cold! We sent it back and it was fine upon re-delivery. An apology by the wait staff would have been appropriate.
The chicken entree I believe is new - it used to be something else. Nonetheless, this was outstanding - very moist, flavorful, and a generous portion!
Dessert was the bread pudding made with glazed donuts - totally decadent!
I have never been disappointed with any of the entrees at Carol's Creek. This time, we went there for lunch. The scallop appetizer was outstanding! The main dish was very good. The flavors are very delicate and well balanced. The deserts are always good. The service exceptional, even for a crowded Sunday afternoon. In addition to the food, the view from CC is great! You can see the waterfront and all of the activity there. I highly recommend it.
Zach our waiter was great! Explained the specials more than once and gave great recommendations. Food was delicious. Would love an outside table next visit.
It was a wonderful night out with great food and great company. Will definitely go again!
Carrol's Creek Cafe was absolutely delicious. We had 2 appetizers and 2 entrees and we were ready to lick the plate on every dish. Highly recommend the scallops with the risotto for dinner and the cioppino was fantastic. Our waiter, Cameron was wonderful to dine with even though they were very busy because of the boat show. He was polite, attentive, and patient with our kid. This was an amazing place for dinner and we will definitely be returning.
Great view, great drinks and food to celebrate my birthday. Service was great!
I loved the view! Whether you dining inside or outside there is a great view of the water and boats. I loved the mussels I had (seasoned just right & plenty of them). My mother and hubby enjoyed their cajun dish.
Excellent food. Restaurant was very nice. Wish we were seated at window view but we arrived 1/2 hour early so may not of got our original assigned table. I was glad they seated us right away. I would strongly recommend a reservation. Can’t wait to go back.
Not only was the food delicious, but the staff were phenomenal. They were super friendly and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Would definitely recommend!
Perhaps I was expecting more from crab cakes which i’d never had before. I found the breading to be chewy.
Love coming to Carrol's Creek for the delicious food, beverages and ambiance. One of the things that makes Carrol's Creek our favorite for special occasions is the attention the service staff provides and the fact that we're not rushed to leave. This always makes us feel welcome and very appreciated.
