Carrol's Creek Cafe
Located on scenic Restaurant Row in Eastport, Carrol's Creek Cafe is a pleasant stroll across the Spa Creek Bridge from the historic district. Carrol's Creek Cafe offers ample parking and is a convenient Water Taxi ride from Annapolis City Dock.
Food was mediocre. Crab cake sandwich was a tiny crab cake. Our server was terrible. She wasn’t attentive at all... never refilled water, offered us more drinks. We had to ask for the complimentary bread. I was told my meal would be awhile because “chicken takes awhile to cook”. It was dry and OVER cooked. She never checked in to see how our meal was. Overall, awful service for our anniversary dinner. Such a disappointment after this restaurant was recommended to us by the hotel concierge. We left and went to another restaurant for dessert. It was painful. Only plus side was the view.
My favorite restaurant in Annapolis - excellent food, service, and view.
Server Angela had four tables outside and was very slow. Just under 2 1/2 hours for a round of drinks, appetizer and main course. We watch other groups arrive later and leave earlier with a different sever. Don’t need to be in a rush but this was ridiculous. Food was good and I’ll try another server next time.
Once again, Carrol's Creek has outdone itself. I had a lobster pasta dish, which was a special that night. I beg of you to please make this a permanent dish on your menu. Absolutely delicious! !
The best testimonial is that we went for the first time on a Friday and then asked friends to meet us there on Sunday. And ordered the exact same thing—beet salad, crab cake, scallops & rockfish. Would do the same again!
Our waitress, Angela saved the day and made our evening bearable after another waitress dropped a huge tray of water glasses all over me. Angela was very helpful , even more than the manager. She quickly moved us to another table and helped dry me up and get the glass off me safely. We almost left, but Angela made us feel comfortable and well taken care of for the rest of the evening.
Awesome food, service and ambiance. Great for celebrating, families, romantic occasions and every day.
We had one of the best experiences ever at a restaurant while dining at Carrol’s Creek. The ambiance was perfect with our window seat. Also, the halibut was very tasty. Moreover, the service was incredible, as our food was ready within 15 minutes. We’ll definitely be dining there again and will keep that on our best restaurants in Annapolis list!
Our waiter was overwhelmed we sat for 30 mins with empty drink glasses. We had to ask another server for another drink. Our server was very distracted
Nice lunch. The service was superb as well as the venue. Very good salmon on a bed of lettuce , avocado, tomato and candied walnuts. Food has always been good but not extraordinary. Would recommend.
Always a wonderful experience at Carroll’s Creek.
We sat outside and the view was amazing! Try the calamari and the rockfish! YUM! Great service!
Beautiful setting, great service, food was very good. Sat outside in plenty of shade.
Phenomenal >>> This was a special occasion -- anniversary -- made doubly so by the 2 best entrees we've ever had, along with impeccable service, and a gorgeous view. We were visiting Annapolis from outside the area, but would not hesitate to eat here again....and again....and....
Went for lunch. Great views, delicious food and our server Carla was wonderful!
Amazing view, really good service and food.
Brunch for my husband's birthday, with our son and daughter in law. Brunch menu is lower priced, and we loved it! Three of us had the rockfish over tomato pesto risotto, topped with spinach and lump crab. Outstanding! Our daughter in law had strawberry waffles, which looked wonderful. They gave my husband his choice of dessert for his birthday, and he had the "bomb", chocolate ganache stuffed with peanut butter. Right by the water. Great atmosphere, very crowded when we first got there.... Carroll's Creek has been rated one of Annapolis' top restaurants for a long time and deserves to be. Our server was wonderful!
Great outside seating, fabulous view, wonderful food and drinks, super servers!
The view was very nice... although we were seated outside on the deck close to the staging area... so the constant sound of silverware clinging and plates banging felt like we were sitting in the kitchen... it was a bit annoying... but the service was very good... and the waiter was very friendly. I thought they were a little pricey.
Our group of four enjoyed the experience. My wife enjoyed the Shrimp and Grits. I had the crab, spinach and swiss cheese omelet; it could have had more crab meat. My orange crush could have used a little more vodka. Will return and try the pancakes as one of our party said they were very good.
Carrol’s Creek has a fantastic view and that is worth quite a bit. It used to have a fantastic brunch buffet and also generally memorable food. The buffet is gone and the brunch was not memorable at all. I asked for a side of sausage and instead they put it in the omelet. The side fruit salad was melon and grapes, with no berries which were available elsewhere on the menu. There was nothing special or outstanding about anything we were served.
Our second time at the restaurant and it was as excellent as our first.
Carrol’s Creek was an amazing find while in Annapolis! The scallops were fabulous and the restaurant was accommodating of my gluten intolerance. Our waiter, Dave, was hilarious and phenomenal. He literally ran to the kitchen when my friend ordered the special of the day as there was only one left! Great experience. I can’t wait to come back and hopefully enjoy the view from the deck!
I wish I could remember our server's name. She was a rockstar. She nailed the skill of knowing any and everything on the menu, and the skill of showing up always at the exact right moment.
Food is always excellent. We moved to Denver from Annapolis 15 years ago. We've been to Carols Creek several times when back in town visiting and have never been disappointed. We'll be back!
We decided to go earlier then our reservation and sat outside on a beautiful afternoon. Service was good and the view was excellent. Our food was very good as well.
This is THE place for cream of crab soup and for crab cakes in my opinion. The halibut special was well presented but the fish was seriously overcooked. this is unusual for this restaurant. I still love this place. It is bright and airy with a large outdoor seating area should the weather cooperate. Service was professional and excellent. I will rturn.
Excellent service & great food. We especially limed the fresh salad prep in our area by our server.
Very talkative server....friendly but stood and talked for long periods of time. Excellent seafood!...chicken just ok (seafood allergy). Prices on high end.
Came here for our 6 year anniversary. Very romantic place to be on the 4th of July. Great view of the fireworks.
Our waitress Suan was amazing. The food was spectacular and our table by the window allowed us to see and enjoy the July 4 fireworks.
We went to Carroll’s Creek for dinner; got there early enough to get a nice spot on the Patio. The view from the Marina was very peaceful overlooking the multiple masts towards the bay and USNA. Our server, Matthew, made our evening even more enjoyable. The fish specials were on point. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening.
Great food. A little pricey. Our server was attentive but failed to mention specials. We learned about them after we ordered and the waitress at our neighboring table told her guests about them.
Always enjoy Carrol’s Creek & today was no exception! Our server Sherry was very pleasant, knowledgeable, & attentive without being smothering. The young novice who prepared our Caesar salad — whose name escapes me — was equally pleasant & proficient.
Food was excellent and Morgan our server was outstanding.
Great meal as always. The crabcake appetizer/platter is delicious and has lots of fresh crab and very little filler. Great beet salad..with a fresh citrus vinaigrette. The lamb chops are small, but so tasty. Each selection is better than the first. Very enjoyable meal.
The crab cakes are amazing !
I have been going to restaurants in Annapolis for years. For some reason we never went to CCC. My friend and I had a great meal; the waitperson (Taylor) was attentive, but, not intrusive; and, the entire three hour meal went by very quickly. Get the dessert that comes with a salted chocolate - Makers Mark sauce. It was great.
Love this place. I take everyone here it’s my favorite restaurant.
I took my wife to Carrol Creek Cafe for her birthday. We went for lunch around 1:30. The whole experience was terrific. It seemed as if everybody in the restaurant wished her happy birthday! She got quite a kick out of it. The meals were both wonderful. I had the rockfish covered with crab meat. It is very difficult to ruin rockfish, in my opinion, and this restaurant treated the piece I ate with a great deal of respect. It was perfectly cooked and the crab was a nice addition to the dish. My wife had scallops in a butter sauce with asparagus. She clearly felt the same about her meal as I felt about mine. Often she leaves something on her plate to share with me. Not so in this case. She was very protective of her meal and pouted when it was all gone. We would definitely go back again. Even if you do not have a special occasion, then make one up. All of this is capped off by the location, being right on the harbor in Annapolis. In all regards, this was a beautiful experience.
Lovely waitress made our birthday celebration absolutely delightful!
She was professional, patient and on the mark with her recommendations. The grilled salmon salad was superb!
Our tea glasses were kept cold with ice and a refill. Her dessert recommendation was the perfect birthday cake, ice cream, raspberry sauce combination - nothing could have kept us from the warm flourless chocolate cake, once mentioned - a phenomenal end to a delicious meal. The view from our window table...amazing! Thank you!!
