The Caesar salad made table side is the worst caesar salad I have ever had. For 18 dollars I would expect it to be made right. Grey poupon and Worcestershire are not ingredients that belong in the dressing. The wine list is full of cheap wines which might be a plus for most people. The waiter was friendly and personable the appetizers were decent and so was desert. I would go back again but maybe just the lounge next time
Server could not have possibly cared any less about my girlfriend and I. I understand we're young, but we know what to expect
We were only in Annapolis for one evening and were torn between several dining options. We chose Carrol’s Creek and are so happy we did. The onion soup was an incredible start to the meal. My partner chose the mussels for his appetizer and raved about them. For dinner, I went with the jumbo crab cakes which did not disappoint. The only mistake I made was not asking for the ground mustard that was liberally spread on the accompanying potatoes and veggies to be served on the side. Our waiter was top-notch. He was knowledgeable about the specials and menu items. He was also very personable. Atmosphere was perfect on a snowy winter night. We felt cozy and comfortable as we enjoyed our delicious dinner.
Food and service were great. There is some old school things, like table side made salad, that are a little dated but overall menu is good. The specials were good.
Our server was excellent, the atmosphere was lovely. Crab cakes are very good, strip steak was excellent. Nice wine list.
Excellent meal overlooking harbor. My daughter and I shared crab cakes, crab soup and baked oysters. All were outstanding!
Wonderful lunch on Valentine's Day. We had very friendly and efficient service with a wonderful view of the Annapolis Harbor on a beautiful sunny day.
We just celebrated our 53rd anniversary there, and the experience couldn’t have been better. Food, wine, service and surroundings - all exceptional. One of our very favorite restaurants.
We drove from Falls Church, VA, to Annapolis as a special treat for a birthday lunch. We were not disappointed! The food was superb, the location was just wonderful with a view of the water, our server, Matthew, was delightful. Well worth the hour plus drive. We will definitely come back!
The lunch meal was very good, but the noise level was high.
We go to carols creek for special celebrations and they continue to shine. My mom turned 86 and the wait staff couldn't have been nicer.
We love this place! Heidi from Annapolis
Always enjoy the view and quality of food.
Food was delicious. Scallop appetizer and table side caesar salad are definitely premier items.
The restaurant was very crowded (it was a Saturday night), but we were in a smaller room, which mitigated the noise level. The food (and portions) were exceptional. Service was a bit off, but probably due to the volume of diners. It was, in all, a terrific evening. We plan to return soon.
After all the great things I’d heard, we were pretty disappointed. Oyster appetizer was great but coconut cod was truly awful. We were placed next to a party of 20 that was loud and intrusive for a romantic dinner for two. Waitress was nice and attentive. There are too many good places in Annapolis to give this one a second chance.
Food was excellent. Service started slow, but got better as we progressed into our meal.
We went to Carrol’s Creek to celebrate a birthday lunch. We were seated promptly, the staff was friendly and the food was good. (The cream of crab soup was excellent!). It was an enjoyable time.
Outstanding food & food presentation. Excellent Happy Hour, friendly staff. Everything we ordered was excellent; from appetizers to our meal, to dessert!
Scallops on cuscus are delicious. They are the main reason we go there on her Birthday.
Best meal we've had in several months. Even though we live out of town we come frequently.
