My husband and I dined here for our anniversary. The service both at the bar and in the dining room was awesome; Zachary at the bar was very attentive and friendly (and made great drinks--delicious Old Fashioned), and our dining room server was wonderful as well. She anticipated our needs and was very unobtrusive. It was a slow weeknight, but they seated several tables clumped together in the dining room. I understand that there weren't many servers and they wanted to decrease the amount of running around they had to do (I'm a server...I get it), but I wish that they'd spread the tables out just a bit more. I felt like we were almost part of the conversations of the people seated near us. One guy at another table started randomly talking to me while my husband was in the restroom!
The cream of crab soup, beef carpaccio, rockfish entree, and scallop entree were all delicious, as was the chocolate cake. We usually go for more modern food, but this was all done really well, and the view of the water was great! We'll be back to check out happy hour.
We started in the bar with drinks and starters and then moved to the dining room for dinner.
We were a party of 8. Aidan was our server and did a great job of keeping us happy and making recommendations. The Caesar salad made table side is delicious. The rockfish entree was a big hit.
We were seated near to a table of 8 who were overly boisterous and made conversation at our table difficult.
SUAN was superb as always - my mother seasoning on her crab cake was lacking - it must have been an off day for the chef because the cheesecake did not taste fresh either but other than that SUAN was great and the food was good
Nice day to spend the day when the sun is out. Dining is still inside as it is too cold to eat out on deck. Ordered Greek Salad which was really good with shrimps and crab meat. The filet mignon was also great, came out medium rare as ordered. The Caesar salad with spicy jumbo shrimps was also good. Our server, Adonis was on point, refilled beverages and would check on us.
We had Sunday brunch on a nice afternoon with good views of the picturesque harbor with numerous sailboats. Service was excellent; food was very good as we opted for either breakfast or sandwich selections. Parking is a bit tight, but parking fees are validated by the restaurant.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. I love taking friends and family. Easy parking also is a
big help. The food is always good and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
We mostly enjoyed our Brunch/Lunch. Although my husband never gout his soup. Then he was very disappointed with his Shrimp salad sandwich. He said there were only 6-7 shrimp and the Ciabatta roll was way too hard. So all he really had was some of the appraisers/ fruit and a couple spoon fulls of the shrimp salad. He will not go back
We Love Carroll's Creek - one of our favorite places to dine in Annapolis.
Service was excellent. My guests really enjoyed their visit.
Consistent food and dining experience. Excellent service, very good food. Crab cakes have become noticeably smaller than a couple years ago.
It was our anniversary. They were ready for us with a card and wine discount. Food was great, service marvelous, and pleasant even though crowded.
After my first visit with family, excellent everything, I brought my professor friend for her milestone birthday meal. I had made reservations for this special afternoon. When we arrived the hostess gave her a lovely Carrol's Creek Cafe birthday card... she was elated. Waiter Boch was superb with menu suggestions and service, the lunches delicious and the view relaxing and quaint. Thank you hostess, waiting staff, chef and manager. I'll be back soon.
We enjoyed a birthday celebration meal at Carroll Creek Cafe and it was wonderful, Our server was pleasant, attentive and gladly served a cake that we had made and brought with us. we all commented that we had found a wonderful new meeting place!
The food and service was exceptional, as always. My wife & I love coming here. It is our favorite fine dining restaurant in Annapolis.
Wonderful salads, seafood, and drinks. Had a delicious salad with salmon and fantastic mahi-mahi piece of fish. My drink order was quick and very good. Wine was also enjoyable. Good choice.
Always great choices. One of the few places where they make Caesar salad dressing and salad fresh at the table...a lost art.
Our waiter was so patient with us, and we stayed a long time. We sat at a table where the neighbors were VERY noisy. It was a relief when they left! But it was overall a delightful first experience for me. I will be back.
A large party required much of our server's attention. Food came out in a timely fashion, but follow up service was abnormally slow. Restaurant week crowd was noisier than normal for Carrol's Creek Café.
Having extended restaurant week into an extra weekend, the dining room was unusually crowded and noisy. This was an anomaly, however, as dining here is usually a bit more staid. The food was very much as we have come to expect: creative, well prepared, and well presented.
I took my husband for his birthday. The food was amazing, the view was out of this world, and the service was top notch. We will definitely be returning.
Ask to be seated at a table served by Russ. His timing and recommendations were perfect.
Came for lunch with a big group of 7.
Things seem to have gone downhill here over the last couple of trips. The food is still very good, but service and cleanliness have definitely slipped. The staff looked overworked.
Not sure I can use this restaurant to impress visitors anymore. But maybe dinner is much better.
Our party of five had a great time sharing appetizers and all had great dinners. We were well stuffed when we left. Jay our server was very attentive and did a great job.
Scallops on risotto with asparagus! Amazing! Lovely views and a talented waitstaff (Zach did a great job). Perfect for a double birthday celebration.
We arrived and were seated immediately. Our waiter, whom we have had before, again was very friendly, efficient and funny. It was my birthday month so we had a special which offered a free appetizer and a free dessert along with two entrees, which we paid for.
We had a scallop appetizer, cod and a pasta dish as entrees and a flourless chocolate cake for dessert. All were spectacular and done to perfection.
Carrol's creek is very consistent in all manners and a can't miss place to go. In the good weather, do sit outside on the deck.
The service was great and the food yummy. Had a delightful meal with friends overlooking the Annapolis harbor. The oyster soup was to die for :-). The mahi-mahi was tasty. My wife had her usual salmon and we took home the dessert to enjoy in the evening. Wonderful.
Celebrated out anniversary. Atmosphere was very romantic and view was exceptional. Not mention food was delicious.
Brought my mother here for her birthday. Everything was good from the food to service! Will be back.
Everything went great, considering that it was the last night of restaurant week and the place was swamped but staff performed admirably.
Excellent menu, overlooks Annapolis Harbor and Naval Academy - sailboats, sailboats, and great "chow" what could be better !
Had a great time with good friends. Staff very accommodating.
Carrol's Creek always has great food and attentive service. This occasion was no different. My wife and I both enjoyed the Surf and Turf special three-course dinner with Carrol's Creeks' signature scallop appetizer and peanut butter bomb dessert. The 6-oz lobster tail was perfectly prepared and presented, and had a wonderful flavor. the steak had a very flavorful sauce that was not so overwhelming as to hide the great beef. We've dined at Carrol's Creek Café many times and have never been disappointed.
A most enjoyable dinner. The food was exceptional accompanied with outstanding service.
The service was exceptional ...the view of the water was amazing.
My husband and I have been to Carrol's Creek several times; we love going for happy hour! We went to dinner on Thursday for date night during restaurant week. The restaurant was very busy, as was our server, Angela. However, Angela was wonderful! She was personable and made great recommendations for menu choices. We have never had a bad meal at Carrol's Creek, but we have had some mediocre service. But not on this night! Both food and service were fantastic! So thank you Angela for making a great night for us!
Very good menu for Restaurant Week. The scallop appetizer had a great presentation and great flavor as well. Very enjoyable dinner for the whole family.
This restaurant is one of my favorite spots in Annapolis. The restaurant week menu was very well thought out and had so many wonderful selections. The service and atmosphere were awesome!
We were able to use our open table reward with no difficulty for this reservation. We had a wonderful lunch in a beautiful setting overlooking the water. Will definitely be back again.
We went for restaurant week and the seafood was fabulous. Waitress was her attentive and had a wide variety of libations.
