Carriage House ofrece un excelente menú a la carta durante la semana cuando el teatro no tiene funciones y cena antes del teatro con precio fijo en Paper Mills, frente a la entrada del teatro. La galardonada chef Holly Guber está orgullosa de estar al frente de este fantástico lugar que ha sido reformado y que abre cuando el teatro está cerrado, con un pequeño y exquisito menú de pequeños y grandes platillos y una excelente selección de interesantes vinos por copa.

The food is always plated beautifully and the meal is top notch and of the highest quality and taste. Hats off to the chef.

I took two of my grandchildren to see The Little Mermaid and wanted to make the outing special by starting with lunch. Since we've enjoyed meals at The Carriage House with friends before, I expected a similar experience. Unfortunately, this visit fell short. The children’s menu was significantly overpriced, and the food didn’t live up to expectations. The flatbread pizza, in particular, didn’t appeal to my pizza-loving grandkids at all. The adult meals were underwhelming as well. I had the blueberry pistachio salad — the greens were wilted, and while the flavor was okay, it lacked freshness. The Sicilian sandwich had a decent filling, but the bread was stale and crumbled easily. There was no dessert included for the adults, and to top it off, lunch for four came to $212 — with no alcoholic beverages. I’m hoping things improve after their planned refresh, but unless the quality returns to what we’ve come to expect, I may have to reconsider future reservations.

It was a nice relaxing atmosphere. Our waiter Brandon was very nice, personable and helpful. We enjoyed the blueberry, feta salad & shrimp cocktail to start - both delicious. We both got the steak with lobster potato salad. The steaks were cooked perfectly and had a wonderful flavor. The potato salad was a bit bland and more mayo than lobster. I also missed having a vegetable. The chocolate mousse was light, tasty and a perfect ending. The staff times dinner perfectly so we did not feel rushed and had plenty of time to get ready for the show. Everyone was very professional and helpful.

Normally we love Carriage House, but yesterday was the exception to the rule. Let me explain. The pea soup was excellent. From there it was downhill. My wife ordered the pork short rib sandwich. It was mostly grizzle. Certainly the edible portion was tiny and it could not have been eaten as a sandwich. My order of swordfish was a quandary. The fish was very good, but only if I ignored the coating which was very uniformed and appeared to come from a factory. The pesto sauce was too overpowering for the fish. The vegetables accompanying the fish were ok, but not great. The convenience of eating in CH is terrific. CH certainly wasn't up to standard yesterday. The restaurant is closing soon for 6 months or more of construction. When it reopens we will return with fingers crossed that Chef can return to his previous standards. Also: CH used to serve excellent dark bread rolls that were so delicious. The past few months that have resorted to plain old, somewhat tough to chew rolls that certainly don't live up to PMP standards.

Hasana is an exceptional server. She greeted me as a returning customer with a bright smile. Her presence made the experience delightful. Food was prepared perfectly as always.

We absolutely LOVE Giovanna!!!!! We are season ticket holders (have been for many years) and we’re very disappointed to hear that the Carriage House is not going to hold the jobs for the servers/bartenders during the renovation. That’s not a great business practice. Especially since they are the ones who have built the relationships with the patrons over years of service. Someone needs to rethink that decision.
