Carpaccio Tuscan Kitchen Ratings and Reviews
Our waiter was very helpful; but had a miscommunication with the kitchen; mixed up entrees, appetizers and three entrees arrived together; bread arrived mid-way through dinner. He made several attempts to correct the situation, but the meal was pretty chaotic. Fortunately, we had plenty of time to visit with our friends and the food was very good. We will be back.
Their appetizer bread with red sauce is always delicious. It comes with dinner. I ordered the special: halibut. It was grilled and overdone. The mixed veggies were good as was the risotto. Everything was really too hot to eat right away as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp. You cannot do that with meat or fish as it continues to cook even as the waiter is bringing it to the table. I didn't know the price of the special when I ordered and was shocked when the bill came:$35! If it had been cooked right I wouldn't have minded. My husband got the spinach ravioli special which was delicious.
All that said, I will still go back and just stick to what I know is good. The waitstaff is always good and we like the atmosphere.
Unfortunately we did not have a very good experience when we dined this past weekend. We were seated outside at a nice table and waited 25 minutes before flagging down a waitress and asking if we could order drinks and food! The lady bussing the tables ended up acting as our waitress as our waitress was unable to be found for most of our dining experience. We would have to flag down the woman bussing tables to ask for more drinks, for our dirty dishes from the first course to be removed once our meals were served, etc. We were at the restaurant for almost 2.5 hours! The couple sitting at the table next to us also commented that they were upset with the service.
We ate at Carpaccio Tuscan Kitchen on July 4th. We had a great meal starting with an heirloom tomato and mozzarella panzanella salad. We followed that with a brick oven margherita pizza. The crust was not too thick and very crisp and the pizza was done just right. Our waitress was Jessica and she was so nice and efficient. She had tables inside and outside the restaurant and it was a major downpour outside at the time. We finished with a New York style cheesecake to share, since it was a large portion. Great dinner, great service and we will be back.
We ate around 6:30. The sun was just going behind the building and it made it great for outside seating. The wait staff was quick and most polite. There was water and a small portion of pizza as an appetizer, complements of the restaurant, at our table in moments. My spouse had a Margherita pizza which was done to perfection and my Vermicelli with sausage and rapini was terrific. Definitely would go back. It was reasonably priced.
We always enjoy dinner at Carpaccio. I tried the lobster ravioli special and my husband had gnocchi. Delicious. We started with grilled calamari which we both enjoy.
The restaurant was very warm, I don't know if air conditioner was working up to par. Otherwise a enjoyable meal
A Topsy Turvy meal
My wife really enjoyed the lobster ravioli but I had plumped for the pasta ragu which was terrible. ( Italian themed restaurant so I thought I was safe). Heavy doughed and long left pasta with dried out ragu. The bottle of white wine was warm so we used the ice bucket to get ice to cool the wine. The appetizer of grilled squid was okay! We have crossed Carpaccio Tuscan off our list of future restaurants.
This place is nothing short of amazing. Took my partner for his birthday and it became our favorite restaurant in a single visit. Funny enough, he's quite a picky eater and I was stunned to see him almost wolf down everything including the plate itself. The atmosphere is like nothing I've experienced before and would recommend this place to anyone who asked.
Went to carpaccio for my bday dinner with my husband and it never fails. Had my favorites, the beef bolognese and it was amazing as always. My husband went for a chicken dish (not parm) and it wasn't that great. His chicken was undercooked. Still good food as usual and we will go back.
