Great food, great selection..bit noisey..
Loved the food, loved the music on the patio, and the ambiance!
We have dined here several times and enjoyed the excellent food and quiet ambience.
We had dinner at Carpaccio's for our anniversary celebration. Our server was very kind and efficient. All of the staff congratulated us for our anniversary, which was a nice touch. We had the carpaccio as an appetizer which was just so tender and rich. I had a pasta with fresh tomato and a light olive oil sauce. The dish was very good but was a huge portion so we took the leftovers home. My husband had a pasta dish with seafood which was good but not worth the $30 price, which was double the price of my pasta dish and mine was just as good. The server surprised us with a dessert on the house for our special occasion. We had the cannoli, which was tasty and decadent but quite small; definitely only a 1 or 2 person dessert. Overall- very nice
My family and I loved the service, the food recommendations by the waiter and the scene was great. I would definately visit this place again.
This was the first experience I had dining at Carpaccio Tuscan Grille. Found the menu selections great, the ambiance fine and the food outstanding. My fellow dining partner stated that the menu selection ordered was one of the finest meals they ever had and I agree. One negative, we found the service quality far below the quality of the food.
The quality of the food has deteriorated. While this was always a decent (not exceptional) meal, we were disappointed. Our server was difficult to locate and average at best. We are not rushing back.
nice in nice in Vermont environment
App of Buffalo Mozzarella and tomatoes was great, but entree was obviously sitting under a heat lamp for sometime with a nasty film on it. Service was polite, but in-attentive...wine list is lame and way over priced. Sadly, this place has gone down hill. It's not terrible, its just ok and I think there are better choices for the money.
Our group enjoyed veal parmesan, veal Annapolis, fettuccine carbonara and a yellow tail special. Thought the carbonara had a little too much garlic and the yellow tail fish was cooked perfectly, but the olive, artichoke and tomato garnish was a little too acidic for my tastes (although lovers of limoni sauces would probably enjoy). The group raved about the truffle mac and cheese. Our servers were all very nice, but not up to Carpaccio's usual standards. Have dined there many times and would not hesitate to go back.
I have NEVER had a bad meal at Carpaccio. Always delicious, no matter what I get.
Exceptional food served in a beautiful setting. A very nice complement to the Westin across the street where we stayed. Highly recommend.
Service slow due to readily apparent understaffing.
We celebrated a birthday, our evening was wonderful!! Our waitress did not rush us. The food arrival was timed well and the presentation was perfect.g
A Very Classy and Upscale Italian gem in downtown Annapolis. Gorgeous locale right near the Westin. The decor was superb! Very classy and refined. Food was pricey, but spectacular!! Our waiter spoke a little too low, but other than that was good. Highly recommended for a special occasion!!
Out-of-the-way for tourists, but worth walking a couple of blocks away from the historic district for this pleasant meal. Accomodated our large family, including a picky 10 year-old, with grace and pleasure. Go for the chef's special -- whatever it is -- you won't be disapointed.
The food is always good at Carpaccio and prices are reasonable. I have been dining there for years and have yet to have a bad meal. The wine list offers a good variety of wine by the glass or bottle for any budget. I think the specials are a bit better since their chef changed.
I recently went here on a saturday evening at 500 for a birthday dinner for 4. They had affordable valet parking (7.00) and comfortable booths. Our waitor could not have been more pleasant and helpful. We had a bottle of Proseco and greatly enjoyed the mezza sized apps. must have the meat and cheese sampler and the calamari. There were many crab and seafood dishes and veal and beef. I will visit here often especially for lunch. They have numerous enticing brick oven pizza and pasta selections for lunch and dinner. I really liked that I could get a lunch sized pasta dish during dinner hrs. I received a delicious cannoli for my bday gift and never felt hurried or more attended to despite the fact the place was packed by 730. Jodie
Beat Italian restaurant in Annapolis. Always impressed whenever we visit.
This was a great place to eat at ! It has everything great food, great service, beautiful decor. We would go back again and again !!!
Great place. We went for our Annuversary. Waiter was exceptional (Kevin).
My husband and I had dinner here for our three year wedding anniversary. We ate outside by the beautiful fountain. We went all out with wine, appetizer (Tuscan Market Platter- YUM) and dinner. We enjoy everything from our waiter to the view and food! I can't wait to go back and try more!
Hostess greeting and customer service needs improvement.
Our server Rachael was awesome, great service. We will definitely be back for the great food and great service!!
By far the best Italian restaurant in Annapolis. Do yourself a favor and leave the touristy area of Annapolis and get a much better meal in a spotlessly clean (unlike so many restaurants in the tourist area) and well-appointed restaurant with both indoor and outdoor options.
We got off to a bit of a rocky start as we watched a few other parties around us arrive and get served --- while no server came to our table. After 10 minutes or so, I sought out management and a few minutes later our server arrived. She handled it perfectly, apologized and said she did not realize that this was her table. The rest of our experience was great. My son had the meatballs for a starter and I had arugula salad. Both great. I had rock fish and my son had pasta (alfred with chicken). Both entrees were large, and excellent. The restaurant was pleasant, open, and the noise was moderate. We enjoyed it and would definitely recommend Carpaccio!
Best meal I have had in a while.
Had an amazing Salmon Casino on a bed of crab risotto. Kudos to the chef. A couple of good pasta dishes as well. Excellent wine list. Very attentive service. Only minor complaint would be size of mixed drinks. The tumbler is half the size of a "standard" bar glass. So either your getting getting shorted on the shot of alcohol, or there's not enough room for proper mixer.
Otherwise a very good experience and would definitely return.
Carpaccio is always great. Fresh, flavorful tuscan food. You must go!
Food was amazing. Menu was creative and the filet was the single best steak I have had in my life.Highly recommend.
Wanted to try this spot for a while. Good but not amazing. I'm not dying to go back. Food good and service ok.
The wait staff was attentive, waiter remembered us from a previous visit. The Lobster Ravioli was delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant.
We took our adult children there to celebrate both their birthdays. Had a lovely time. Would definitely come back.
My husband and I enjoyed are dining there, the food was delious. The atomosphere very quaint.
The food was delicious, staff was a little slow, but we felt like the waiter had too many tables to take care of at the same time.
We enjoyed our meal but not the waiter's frequent disappearances--10 or 15 minutes to get a chance to ask for water refills; a dish needing parmesan delivered 15 minutes before anyone asked if cheese were wanted; 20 minutes waiting for the check at the meal's end.
Great music. Food is morale at best; not what we expected from a Best of Annapolis.
The atmosphere for inside or outside is wonderful. The bread basket is a meal in itself - with freshly made foccacia and garlic knots. Appetizers are sized well for choosing large or small and main dishes well thought out, creative, clean and appropriate portion sizes. Dessert - good selection, gelato was well made and delicious. Service was excellent, attentive without being overdone.
Lets see; we went there once, then went back a second time and now we are planning a third(and additional)visit(s) to the Carpaccio Tuscan Grill. Hope that tells you what you need to know.
Sunday brunch outstanding. Food well prepared and tasty.
This past Sunday's visit to Carpaccio's was my second visit. I was disappointed because the food was lukewarm. The young man standing behind the buffet lacked enthusiasm and could barely utter two words to us about your entrees. In fact, my mother and I didn't know there were more pasta entrees. We arrived at 1:00 p.m. and the fruit and dessert trays were depleted. Please consider removing the trays or add more food. If your brunch starts at 11:00 a.m., you should take the necessary steps to ensure your stations are full instead of looking picked over. My first experience was wonderful so I know you can do better. The house manager should always engage with patrons to make sure they are content. Our server, Amanda was kind and gracious.
