Great food and romantic ambiance. One of my favorite date night spots!
Wonderful food, and the waitstaff were very attentive. We were five different groups and they sat close together which was helpful. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Nice and relaxed environment. I will definitely come back. I live in Potomac and it was worth the drive. Close in proximity to Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts venue.
The foccacia- pizza with zingy tomato sauce and baby eggplant starters were very tasty. Our
entres - parpadelle bolognese and polenta with scallops/prawns were outstanding. Bolognese was rich, the scallops perfectly done.
Loved it! I had the carbonara, which could be the best I've ever had, with crispy bacon and a perfectly poached egg on top, delicious creamy sauce with (I think) a touch of sherry. And this is saying something as I've lived in Italy twice! And the strips of pizza offered immediately were delicious.
I was there with a friend I hadn't seen in a while, so we wanted to wait a while before ordering -- absolutely no problem with that and the server didn't annoy us constantly.
This is my third visit to Carpaccio. I live in Baltimore and find your restaurant well worth the drive.
I am a frequent dinner at Carpaccio's Tuscan Kitchen, however I usually sit at the bar with a friend and enjoy a drink, pizza and split one of the risotto entrees with a friend. With that being said, I expected that the dining experience would be even better if I made reservations for a special occassion.
We were promptly seated by the hostess.
We were asked if we preferred a booth vs table (by the hostess)
Our waitress was in training and you could tell that she was really trying
We were not offered new utensils after our starters
Panzanella-was in great need of salt (could not add my own because they don't keep salt on the tables)
Risotto Ai Funghi Porcini-was luke warm (this is my favorite dish)
Risotto Con Carne- no asparagus tips to be found and taste was off. (this was brought to the servers attention, needless to say we still ended up paying for the entree)
We decided against ordering their coffee and dessert and went to Fox Den instead. I'm not sure I will back.
Awesome food, service and experience !
Outstanding! The service was impeccable as my companion and I talked and talked and talked! There was no pressure to eat and get out. The food was spectacular as well!
We really enjoyed our meal. The place was packed due to NHL game at Naval Academy. Service was professional and we were seated within 5 minutes of reservation. We both ordered different items from the restaurant week specials. My Italian wedding soup was tasty but not nearly hot enough. The salmon was incredibly hot (temperature) and was delicious. My husband said his linguine with seafood was perfectly spiced and he was pleased his porcelain espresso cup was hot. We would have preferred an herb focaccia to the pizza like bread that came. Despite the crowd we were able to make our concert with time to spare. We haven’t been here in years and we will return sooner.
Excellent Italian food starting with delicious complementary pizza bread and moving to great pasta and desserts.
Place was empty and they sat someone right next to us.
Had to ask for steak sauce at least 3 times. Had to ask for wine 2 times. Asked for a candle for cake because we had a birthday. Didn't happen. Usually service is very good. Staff didn't seem to know what Worcestershire sauce so never brought it. Was kind of disappointed with service as this was a birthday dinner.
I love Carpaccios. Best restaurant in Annapolis except for Coopers Hawk. The only disappointment this time was that we stood at the front desk for 3+ minutes as no one was there and no one acknowledged our existence. Finally the bartender sat us.
Went out for date night with my wife and the server was outstanding. Food was great. Atmosphere was lively and so much fun.
My party of three ordered two appetizers and three entrees. All five dishes were bland and overpriced.
We enjoyed our dinner here with family-service was very good and the food was plentiful.
Service was great. The restaurant was a bit on the loud side. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Great wine, food was very good but not the best italian food I have had(I had the creamy tomato prosciutto pea pasta, my husband had the capellini). Prices were reasonable, coffee and tiramisu and salads were excellent. Parking is odd so we recommend valet. We noticed the valet person in a winter coat and stocking hat repeatedly walking through the restaurant and actually addressing the couples next to us...they weren’t involved in what he was inquiring about . We thought if there was an issue with a car...the owner/manager should have taken the info from the valet and found the customer...it was a bit unnerving seeing this valet repeatedly walking through the dining area. Overall a pleasant evening.
It was our first time here. Service was great. Food was delicious. It was about an hour drive for us but we will be going back.
Food was delicious and service was wonderful. Just a little noisier than I would have preferred.
They did not have our reservation even after I received two email confirmations.
Enjoyed, food was very good. Service was a little slow initially but the server removed one of my charges to make up for the delay. Would definitely recommend!
This restaurant is outstanding. By far one of the best Italian restaurants I've been to, regardless of where in the US. Food is delicious, expertly prepared, service is terrific, wait staff is friendly and very helpful. And a bargain - best idea, since portions are large, is to split everything. Which makes is a great value. Chicken Marsala - best I've ever had. Lasagna - excellent. And the pizza bread they serve - instead of regular bread - is addicting. 5 stars.
Excellent service and good food
Great Italian food... Professional, Courteous staff and servers.
We had a reservation and was seated after a couple of minutes wait.
The service was initially slow but when they realized we had not been served - everything changed. Christina was on top of us the rest of the evening. She made sure we wanted for nothing. Food was excellent, wine list extensive, and Christina's service was exceptional.
We noticed other tables were eating pizza. The bread they bring before you order is a pizza bread and very tasty. We didn't order pizza but the pizzas looked so good we decided to take one with us for the next day. WOW! - was that the right decision. Lunch the next day was wonderful. They have a take-out counter and I will be hitting that frequently in the future for their great veggie pizzas!!
The pizzas are very reasonably priced; however, the rest of the menu is pricey BUT not over-priced for the quality of food and service. We got there during Friday Night Happy Hour and the place was packed with a young crowd and they were loud. By the time we finished our meal the noise level was more tolerable.
We will be back but most likely during the week. I highly recommend trying this eatery / wine bar.
I enjoyed my visit to Carpacio's this last weekend. The ambience was good, the food choices and our selection was good, and not overly expensive...Service was good. I am looking forward to coming here again !
What a wonderful meal we had! Great selection including a mignonette risotto I have never tasted before. The service was perfect, wine list perfectly matched for the wonderful flavors, and priced extremely well.
Our first time here. The waiter was excellent. It was our 4 year old’s birthday and they bright out a beautiful dessert for free! It was very thoughtful. Although this isn’t really a kid place - no kids menu- they were so accommodating offered to make him some chicken strips or anything else he wanted. They are very accommodating. Food was amazing. Ambiance was nice. We highly recommend it.
Great food, as always. Service was, at best, mediocre. Other waiters were very much engaged, but ours pretty much ignored us.
We have been three times, and the food has been excellent. Our waiter was great and even brought a cannoli out for my husband's birthday. We will be back!
The service was AMAZING, and definitely what stood out to us; the restaurant had lovely ambiance. The pizza and bread were delicious, but the lobster ravioli was a bit too saucy, and overpowered the pasta to an extent. Overall, the food was very good; we enjoyed everything we had. I would definitely return!
Food was so delicious. Porcini mushroom ravioli was amazing. Service was great. Would love to come back.
Consistent, great meals. Carefully prepared, flavorful, well spiced. All around one of the best restaurants in Annapolis. Service and atmosphere also excellent. The Cucumber Martini is a personal favorite cocktail and the Penne Vodka with Italian Sausage so good.
The service was impeccable. Our waitress was attentive and made hood suggestions. The food was delicious and everything arrived steaming hot and well timed. We're definitely going back. Highly recommended.
Food, as always, was superb. And service was excellent. Always one of our favorite places to eat in Annapolis.
We picked Carpaccio from Open Table as the first Italian restaurant that popped up. What a nice surprise.....The volume is a little loud but not annoyingly so. It has a great atmosphere and they keep the lights low, so it's a romantic setting.
The food was great. I had the papardelle with lamb ragu and goat cheese and it was delicious. My wife had lasagne bolognese...also delicious and we had enough left overs for another meal each. We moved this restaurant high up on our list of go tos.
Good location, nice decor, great food, will definitely return
WE LIKE TO THIS PLACE TO CELEBRATE FAMILY SPECIAL OCASIONAS. love THE FOOD AND THE SERVICE IS ALWAYS GREAT.
Great food. Initial service was fast but I had leave the table to find our server to request more water and wine, and remind her the bread never made it to the table.
The pork chop special was phenomenal. It is definitely a must if they have it on the menu.
